The staff are prompt, polite and attentive.. special thanks to rohman, keep the good work..- plaza premium first
I took a very early flight on Malaysia Airlines, the ticket included the lounge, the lounge officer Mr. Bimo and his team were incredibly helpful, I really appreciate it, thank you.
I was attended to by Andro Manalu. I needed to speak with CX and since I was on transit I was unable to find them. Andro offered to call them directly and connected me with CX. He didn’t have to but was very willing to help. One kind gesture makes such a difference. Andro is sincere and professional. I wish him more success.
Very easy to find. Well worth the money to enter when you have a long transit. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable
Went to lounge for waiting the flight. Because at that time was weekday and in morning, few guest was seen. The food, unfortunately was disappointing. It had bland taste. The lackluster in food was make up by the great ambience and adequate facilities. Sapphire seem to be can't stand criticism. I used to write review at Google Maps, only to be found got deleted.
I recently visited the lounge at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and had a mixed experience. The space was extremely crowded, making it hard to relax or find a comfortable seat. It felt more like a busy terminal than a premium lounge. The food selection was quite underwhelming — limited variety and not particularly appetizing, definitely below what you’d expect from an airport lounge. However, what really stood out (in a very positive way) was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their attitude made a noticeable difference and softened an otherwise disappointing experience. Overall, not the best lounge in terms of comfort and food, but the excellent service deserves recognition.
I was at Jakarta Saphire Lounge with my Widlfe and son heading to Singapore. We had a great time and enjoyed the delicious local food and all other offerings. We left at 5.30pm and boarded Garuda Airline . We arrived to Singapore two hours later only to find out that I left my backpack with all life valuables in it at the Saphire Lounge in Jakarta. After several calls to the loungers 800 # we could not speak to an individual. However lost and found dept of the airport located my backpack and gave to my brother in law. My brand new Cartier watch with substantial amount of money along with my laptop were safely recovered. So A BIG THANKS TO THE LOUNGE STAFF....
We flied KLM business class and had the privilege to use the lounge here. The varieties of food and drinks are good. We didn’t consume any alcohol. So I cannot comment on that. But there were plenty of soft drinks in the fridge. The only thing that they didn’t have was : decaf coffee. But anything else is to our liking.
As a frequent user of the CGK T3 Plaza Premium Lounge, i consider the facilities, services, cleanliness and hospitality meets international travellers who may be new or seasoned to the lounge experience. I must point out that the staff who arrange the shower room facility are friendly, polite and able to assist their guest who enquire or use the shower facilities. Ambience at the lounge is relaxed although at certain times of the day the lounge can get crowded. Food and drinks options are good. Cleanliness of the washroom are maintained clean at all times. Tables are cleared reasonably fast. Although this is not a flagship airline lounge at airline home base. I would rate this plaza premium lounge at T3 CGK the best available lounge.
The lounge as usual the best although not as good as Dubai etc but atmosphere wise is good. The lacking is usually the food which just so so (average). Should hire better chef or better kitchen management. It’s unfortunate a good facility pair up with bad food.
Thank you, PPF Jakarta, for the very warm welcome. I would also like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Dinda and Amara for their superb and excellent service during my visit yesterday. Both of them demonstrated genuine hospitality and strong customer-service instincts qualities that not everyone naturally possesses. Their sincerity, attentiveness, and ability to connect with guests stood out immediately. Keep the momentum going and continue delivering the outstanding service you showcased yesterday. I am truly proud of the way both of you created a positive experience for every passenger who walked into PPF. Your natural talent and dedication are truly commendable.
An express train runs between the airport and the city center, allowing travelers to avoid traffic jams in less than an hour. The fare is 70,000 rupees or 4.3 USD. Trains from the airport depart and arrive at SHIA (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Railway Station), which is located in a separate building at the airport. You can get there from the terminals by the free airport SkyTrain (also launched in late 2017) and free buses. The general train route looks something like this: After claiming your luggage and exchanging money, follow the signs to the terminal exit and the Skytrain. Board the nearest Skytrain for a free ride to SHIA. At SHIA station, purchase a train ticket to the city from a ticket machine (payment by credit card) or through the app. Proceed through the turnstiles to the train. Arrive at BNI City Station (BNC), from where you can take a taxi to your hotel. Airport Train in Jakarta Trains arrive and depart from BNI City Railway Station (also known as Sudirman Baru, as shown on the map), which is located in the central part of the city but quite far from all tourist attractions and public transportation. There are no buses nearby, and the nearest TransJakarta stop is almost a kilometer away, so the only option for getting to your hotel from here is currently by taxi. Trains from the airport depart every 30-60 minutes from 6:10 AM to 11:10 PM, according to a schedule.
This Qantas-associated lounge in Jakarta was prior to Flight QF40. The standard of service and amenities was well below that expected of a Business Class facility bearing the Qantas name indeed any Oneworld Carriet. The Only white wine on offer was of very poor and inexpensive quality, and I was charged AUD 18 for a basic gin and tonic—a price entirely disproportionate to both the quality and the premium fare already paid for Business Class travel. The situation was compounded by the extraordinary fact that Indonesian currency was not accepted for payment within a lounge located in Indonesia. This not only caused unnecessary inconvenience but also reflected a complete lack of operational awareness and customer consideration. The manager saving face punished the staff and then proceeded to put the sign up! This experience is entirely inconsistent with Qantas’ and any professed premium service standards and undermines confidence in the value of Business Class travel. I strongly urge oneworld and Qantas to conduct an immediate review of its partnership and management arrangements for the Jakarta lounge. The current offering is unworthy of anyone's quality brand. I request a formal written response detailing what steps will be taken to address this matter.
Good service and ambient atmosphere with good staff and polite. I really enjoy from their kind and service. With my regards
It was unclear beer was included and I missed out. The food and everything else was good though. Facilities were cleabn
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), nestled in Tangerang, Banten, just 20 kilometers west of Jakarta’s pulsating heart, stands as Indonesia’s premier aviation hub, welcoming over 60 million travelers annually with a dynamic blend of modern infrastructure and warm Indonesian hospitality. Named after Indonesia’s founding fathers, Soekarno and Mohammad Hatta, this sprawling airport—spanning 2,100 hectares—serves as the primary gateway to the archipelago, connecting adventurers to over 100 domestic and international destinations via more than 50 airlines, including flag carrier Garuda Indonesia. Its three terminals (Terminal 1 for domestic low-cost carriers, Terminal 2 for international flights, and Terminal 3 for premium domestic and international services) are a hive of activity, offering travelers an array of experiences: from savoring local delicacies like nasi goreng at bustling food courts to indulging in duty-free shopping for batik souvenirs or global luxury brands. The airport boasts cutting-edge facilities, including free Wi-Fi, prayer rooms, smoking areas, and lounges like the plush Garuda Indonesia Executive Lounge, ensuring comfort for every type of traveler. For those in transit, the airport’s digital art installations and cultural exhibits provide a taste of Indonesia’s rich heritage, while practical amenities like currency exchange, ATMs, and a 24/7 medical center cater to every need. Seamless connectivity is a hallmark, with options like the Skytrain linking terminals, DAMRI buses, taxis, and a rail link to Jakarta’s city center, making exploration effortless. Despite occasional challenges like peak-hour congestion, Soekarno-Hatta’s ongoing expansions—aiming for a capacity of 100 million passengers by 2030—promise an ever-evolving welcome to Indonesia, where your journey begins with a vibrant fusion of efficiency and cultural allure.
We recently visited this lounge in Jakarta. Overall, it’s a good space—clean, tidy, and well-maintained with friendly and professional staff. The food selection was also impressive, with a decent variety to choose from. However, the major letdown—and quite a big one in our opinion—is that they charge for alcoholic drinks. For a paid lounge, this really takes away from the experience. Because of that, we probably wouldn’t use it again. A real shame, as everything else was spot on.
Truly a first class lounge. The server Ricky is very attentive and personable during my stay. The food is great, all gourmet and not buffet in the lounge.
It is one of the best airport lounges I've been to. They have a dedicated and professional barista (Mr. Bintang) who can prepare beverages based on request. The lounge offers a prayer room, massage/spa services, catering, and comfy seating area with charging outlets. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They offer help all the time with a big smile. Special thanks goes to Ms. Yasifa, Ms. Dinda, Ms. Karen, Mr. Rifky, Mr. Reza and Mr. Dimas for making me feel at home.
Lovely quiet lounge. Great service from Ridwan & Muti. Good coffee, very accommodating with my food allergies. Highly recommend the chocolate cake.
Very good food with good variety, good service, good staff esp. Ridwan n Muti They served whole heartedly Definitely worthed
Zaki made me top class excellent laksa & sato . Desi is very attentive and assisted in explaining the dishes. These two are your star employees.
Flew as Qantas Platinum on Qantas and do understand that there are very limited lounge options available in Jakarta for all the different airlines, but it was still way below average. Most annoying/frustrating was that the First-Class section of this lounge was closed and empty and they could easily have put airlines top tier passengers there. The food was also not very good compared to most lounges I go to around the world and so I ended up going to a restaurant in the terminal and bought food and then sat near the departure gate as no seats available in the lounge. Felt very sorry for those people who actually paid to go into the lounge. If I had paid, I would have been more then upset
It's a lounge I always use when I go back to Korea from Indonesia. I think it's a good lounge to have a simple noodle and a beer
Best service in Jakarta. Hope to come back again very soon. Keep the service level up. Congratulation! Super like and happy.
The associate who made two beers and a wine was so nice to talk. He was so kind. I think this is a meaning of journey.
Internet is terrible, not usuable Overcrowded, hard to find a seat Too hot, air conditioning not working Food is average at best
Excellent ambience and supportive staff with multi tasty cuisine, it’s a must go place highly recommended to all & enjoy.
Bubur was amazing! Top notch service by Fina, attentive and quick service. It was early morning so the ambience was nice and there were no music.
Excellent service, clean, friendly and helpful staff, variety of foods, coffee was very good. Especially thanks Victor for his services
Service was great, servers were particularly helpful and kind. They kept the beer flowing without being asked which was awesome. Looking forward to coming back
I visited the lounge today the service provided by Ricky was amazing!!! It was quiet here is a perfect place for people who like to enjoy their time before flying to their next destination.
Food and service is excellent! Shout out to Ricky Yuliansah Great lounge and great experience !! Highly recommended!!!
Environment was pretty good, very chill at PPF and had a wonderful meal and good hospitality from Ricky. Will visit again..
The Plaza Premium business class lounge offered a pleasant ambiance for travelers seeking respite. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the food and beverage selection fell short of expectations. Improvements to the food quality would greatly enhance the overall experience. With a few adjustments, the lounge has the potential to become a truly exceptional space. Bar should offering a curated selection of craft beers and fine wines. Enhance the cocktail menu with classic and signature creations.
Very annoying and too loudly, GM and Management need to evaluate rate of Your Speakers Volume and Managing the better announcements,
Spacious lounge with extensive seating areas and dining area. There were dedicated area for singapore airlines and another dedicated area for first class passengers. We sampled the coffee which was very good as well as fresh fruits which were very nice tasty pineapples and papaya. There were many Indonesian dishes which I believe might not attract the international traveler. The lounge welcome many invited business class passengers, holders of certain credit cards as well as paying guests. Priority cards are also accepted.
A very nice lounge with very friendly staffs.. And they have their own smoking room.. It was a very nice experience staying there.. Thank you all
I can only say that the fact that they played the SAME PIECE OF MUSIC ON A 2 MINUTE LOOP made our 2 hour visit UNBEARABLE!!! I won’t review the rest. This is unacceptable.
We had access to this lounge as Turkish business class passengers. It is huge but got very busy. The food was ok but alcoholic beverages beyond wine and beer are charged. Nope considering all we paid for our airfare, we are not paying more!
The first thing that strikes you when entering the lounge is the smell. Hot and old oil being used to stir fry the spring rolls, samosas etc... The selection of food is okay in quantity, soup, hot and cold dishes, salted and fruits, but the quality is mediocre really. Even with a lot of chilli sauce... The selection of drinks is poor, with a choice between a couple of beers and very low level wines... The lounge is nice because it is vast, clear and clean, seat comfortable but that is it.
Sapphire plaza premium lounge at international departure of CGK airport is a great airport lounge. One part of the lounge is accessible with priority pass select card. Another part of the lounge is accessible if you have access to plaza premium lounge. The lounge is spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs. It offers some good hot meal options, especially the special ordered a la carte items such as roast duck, steamed fish, black pepper beef at the Chinese New Year.
The lounge wasn't open when we were in Jakarta in November 2022, but it was when we were at the terminal in January 2023. We used the lounge while travelling Turkish Airlines Business Class, but we could have entered with our American Express Platinum Card. The lounge was clean, and there are two separate bars at each end serving soft and alcoholic drinks. There was a made-to-order food station with six options available, and the service was quick, but the lounge wasn't busy then. The lounge is nothing special but better than the Garuda lounge in the same terminal.
Food was very average and the staff was polite but seemed a bit overwhelmed in spite of the early hours and lounge with only a few customers. The lounge is vast and comfortable though, clean and quiet. Ok for a quick coffee I guess if your stay is short but if you have to spend a few hours I would not recommend it, above all if you are hungry. Go instead in the terminal where there are a few food outlets.
Very nice airport lounge. The interior decoration is great. Staff friendly and nice. The food is perhaps not the greatest and the alcohol is under the counter, thus not in public view. If you ask, you will receive.
Even if you get free access- this is disappointing. Crap food and limited drinks (alcohol was limited to beer or white wine). Didn’t try the showers. Toilets were clean and there’s plenty of seating and phone charging stations.
If you have some transit hours in Terminal 3 Soekarno Hatta, this place is highly recommended. It located near Gate 5, bit far to walk from the elevators when you just go down from security check (around Gate 10). If you don’t want to walk, just find a golf car that will deliver you to the lounge for free. The place is spacious with some charger areas and TV cable. The food is delicious although the variety is limited. There is also shower and working facilities. So far, this is the best lounge I can find in this airport.
Very disappointed by this lounge which does not correspond to the standing of a business class. Travelling on Turkish we were used to the exceptional lounge in Istanbul. The lounge in Jakarta has a very limited culinary offer, 3 or 4 courses. Except for a glass of local wine or a beer, all alcoholic beverages are charged. Count 10€ for a cocktail!!!Beware there is a very large room in which it is terrible heat. Take refuge in the air-conditioned Saphir lounge.
Executive class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members have access to a restricted lounge area, quite spacious and cozy. The range of drinks is very good, as well as the food options, always focusing on local cuisine. The internet works very well and there is even an exclusive exit. It is worth arriving earlier and enjoying the rest before the flight to Singapore, with a later connection, if applicable.
