Tour didn't take place because of official holiday, which the tour organizer didn't mentioned before, even they knew about it. So unfortunately I had to remanage my bookings in short time.

The tour was very nice started with Mueseum, visit to the mosque, cathedral and then lunch at local restaurant. Followed by China town, the harbor and then old town and coffee at Cafe Batavia. It was a perfect ending to the tour. Our tour guide Mr Gindo and Driver Yoga were both very cheerful, supportive and welcoming to our needs and comfort during the tour.

We were a group of 4 and had an enjoyable day on this tour. Our guide, Eko, was great - very knowledgeable and happy to share lots of interesting information throughout the day. He met us right on time at our hotel lobby and took us around Jakarta for about 8 hours. Even though we didn’t cover every single place listed in the original itinerary, we spent time at each stop without feeling rushed. One of the highlights was visiting Istiqlal Mosque during prayer time. Even though we’re not Muslim, the tour arranged for a local guide so we could go inside, which made the experience much more meaningful. We also got to try a short ride on a local bus, which was a fun and authentic touch. Another stop was the National Museum - just note that the entrance fee there isn’t included and needs to be paid separately. Overall, a well-organized and flexible tour with a great guide. Would definitely recommend it!

Punctual pick-up, and I had the very kind Mr. Gindo as my guide and the amazing Mr. Two as driver. The tour van was perfectly air-conditioned and comfortable the whole day. Took the day tour of Jakarta with Gindo, our tour guide and our driver, Rahmat (Mr. Blessings). Visited the museum, harbour and many other historical sites. Gindo speaks good English, very friendly & helpful and very informative throughout the tour, which we appreciate a lot. And Mr. Rahmat is a very skilled driver who drove us to the many sites during the tour and was on time throughout too! Highly recommend this tour if you have few days to spend in Jakarta.

Pak Gindo was awesome all the trip. We was waiting me in the meeting point beforehand (I was early arrive too.) so we can start as soon as we meet. He take me to all destination with a expert detail. We exchanging a lot for the experience that make me feel.like I travel with a close friend. And take me back to the old feeling for a solo traveller. We was a great photographer too. The transaction with MyProGuide was very smooth. They were very accomodating to all our questions before and during the tour. There were hiccups during the tour because of the rain and traffic because of a demonstration but our tour guide Eko and Tari were very attentive to our needs and still made sure we were comfortable and made adjustments to our itinerary so that we can still enjoy the experience. We have learned a lot from Eko on the history and culture of Jakarta and he was able to give in depth explanations. Entering Istaqlil Mosque was such a unique experience. Mr. Eko, the tour guide, and Mr. Argo, the driver, were very welcoming. The tour guide has a very good sense of humor. He explained the stories and histories of the places that we have visited. He made us feel really comfortable and safe the entire trip. It was worth booking this tour and I'm so glad I did it!

I went on a MyproGuide tour to explore the city's most important attractions with a professional guide in a dedicated vehicle. Gindo was a professional guide. You explained the history of Jakarta and all of Indonesia easily. The Indonesian independence history and beautiful mosques and cathedrals, the Dutch ruins, and the overall Jakarta attractions were easy to see. Mr. Red, who was a driver, also helped to drive safely. I highly recommend this tour for those who want to make a short trip in Jakarta or to efficiently explore the overall sights every hour of the day.

Very competent and friendly tour guide had. We were in Jakarta during Ramadan so public buildings were closed. That didn't matter at all as the tour guide always had an alternative for it. Clear recommendation.

We had booked the tour 'Highlights of Jakarta with multilingual guide' as a group of two people. The tourgide contacted us on the afternoon of the previous day via WhatsApp. That alone was a big plus. We were thus able to adjust the time for the pickup again. There was a difference between what we were told by the agency and the pickup time the driver was told. But we have reached a direct agreement. We wanted to deviate from the original program and instead of the port we wanted to visit the cathedral. That was no problem at all. On the day of the tour, both the rider and the tourgide were very punctual. We had booked the tour for a Monday. What we didn't know: on Monday all museums and monuments are closed. Unfortunately, I did not find any information about this in the program on the website. It would be nice if that could be changed. Since we had had a good breakfast, it was not important for us to come to lunch at any particular time. So we took our tourgide on a completely individualized day tour. The tour guide Edo... A very friendly, devoted and empathetic 'local guy' with really good humor. His German was excellent and he always spoke in free speech, none of it as if read from a book. This allowed questions about the sights and the topics at any time and resulted in very stimulating conversations. Through his own time in Germany, he has also been able to make us very impressive and clear about the cultural differences. The driver... was very friendly and reliable. In road traffic, a very level-headed driver. We never felt like we were being put in dangerous situations. The vehicle was clean, with air conditioning and there were 2 small bottles of water provided for us each. Conclusion: TOP! PERFECT! our expectations were significantly exceeded.

He was a very kind and good guide in Japanese. As it was a private tour, we were taken to places that interest us, not restricted by the tour itself! If you haven't been to Jakarta yet, this tour is definitely for you.
