After we arrived at Church then we just take some photos out side or we can visit while you can see the design of Cathedral in Jakarta. Visiting the chinatown from the old era, has been built the old pagoda 1650. Jakarta chinatown is one of the busiest and most fascinating. It is the largest Chinatown in the country, visiting the big market and its temple. The guide bring exploring and trying to take a Tuk Tuk to the Old town. Arriving the Old harbour is not so far from old town, in it is the traders and sailors first come to city and melting and colonize. This is a biggest and old harbour in 15 century dominated by Asian ethnic before european. then this harbour is still active for logistic trading transport with the old boat Phinisi. Then this is the last program in 15 minutes back to hotel 45 minutes - 1 hour
Gibran was a very good guide, easy to understand, good descriptions of the sights and associated history. Modified the itinerary to avoid crowds at a protest in Central Jakarta, and managed to see everything on the agenda.
Tour guide, E exceptional as was driver Hamil! Unfortunately, Jakarta is not an easy place to visit and we are seasoned travellers. Pollution, numbers of people, the worst traffic jams and rubbish beyond compare! Hard work for tour guides and drivers. Nightmare anxiety for visitors!

We only had one afternoon in Jakarta and we are so pleased we did this half day tour. Our guide Ivan and driver Cek Man were a dynamite team. We came away with a wealth of knowledge from every aspect- culture, history, politics, cusine and more. Ivan spoke excellent English and has an eye for the camera lens. Cek Man was an excellent and safe driver. We hoghly recommend this trip and we will certainly use this team again on a return visit. Memories ever lasting!
I took this tour as a brief introduction to Jakarta the day after I arrived. It was a comfortable way to see the key sites. My guide Ivan spoke perfect English and his explanation was a good mix of culture and history, both modern and colonial. I particularly loved his explanation of the unusual foods being sold in the Chinatown market. He also suggested a few places I might want to visit for a longer time later in my trip. The car was comfortable with good air conditioning - very important in Jakarta. I highly recommend this tour.

Ine our guide was so lovely. She met us at the airport after a long flight from the UK to start our tour. We visited some nice landmarks in around 4hrs and was then dropped at our accommodation. This tour is excellent if you only have a short space of time. Highly recommend.
A good alternative if you don't wish to or have time for a full day tour. You get to see the highlights of the famous buildings/landmarks in Jakarta. But do let the guide know if you have any appointments after as the "macets"(traffic jams) can really cut into the travel time of getting from place to place and end up extending the trip duration. Otherwise driver and tour guide were both good in what they do, careful and skillful driving by Cek Man and guide Ivan is friendly, helpful and informative. They're both flexible so let them know if you have any concerns!

Ivan was a knowledgeable guide with very good English. His driver was efficient. We saw all of the highlights of Jakarta. We met at the Mal Artha Grading as the cruise operated a shuttle to the Mall. Ivan arranged for the driver to return us to the cruise port which was very nice.

This was a last minute booking the night before but they responded right away and confirmed the pick up time. Everything was as described and our guide Enok was terrific. This was such a delightful tour! Our guide Enok clearly loves what she does and is so knowledgeable about the city’s history. Our driver Man was also great at navigating Jakarta’s very challenging traffic. My husband and I are visiting for our son’s wedding and wanted to take a break from the wedding activities and see a bit of the city. Very happy we booked this tour. Loved walking through the Chinatown market and Old Town, and a surprising highlight was a stop at a puppet studio for a demo on the art of puppet making. Fascinating!
We really enjoyed this tour. I usually don’t take part in guided sightseeing tours, so I had some reservations at first, but I’m genuinely glad we chose this one. It turned out to be a great way to discover Jakarta, both the modern city and the Old Town, in a short amount of time. Our guide, Ine, was fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and very attentive. We arrived in Jakarta without a plan for our 20-hour layover. We decided to take a chance and sign up for this “Hal-day tour” and were pleasantly surprised with how smoothly it went. After signing up for the tour less than three hours before pick up, our tour operator, Ferdy, reached out within 30 minutes via WhatsApp, Ionto, our driver, was waiting for us at our meeting spot well before our allotted time, and he drove us into central Jakarta to meet our sweet, local guide, Fitri. We hadn’t done any research about what to see/do in Jakarta, so we’re pleased Fitri had a plan. We toured the 3rd largest mosque in the world (by capacity = 200,000 people) and the cathedral across the street. We also saw the National Monument and then drove into OldTown to glimpse the (flooded) port and then a cool, crowded market in ChinaTown. We also saw part of a traditional shadow puppet show and then ended our tour in the main square surrounded by former government buildings , many of which have subsequently been turned into museums and the Batavia Cafe. Cool spot for fancy drinks and good food after our tour. Thumbs up to Ferdy, Ianto and Fitri. Thank you for an enjoyable and informative afternoon!
I had exactly one free day in Jakarta and wanted to see all the main sights. I signed up for this half-day sightseeing tour to the modern city and old town and it was the best thing I did. My guide was Hanny who was knowledgeable, curteous and fun to be around with. With our driver, we managed to pack in an incredible amount in a relatively short time period. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

We booked a pick up from the port where the ship docked. Communication was excellent and Sari, our guide was waiting for us at the port. She explained everything about the sights we visited and tailored the trip to our needs. Sari had excellent english and was so enthusiastic and cheerful which further added to the day.

This tour was convenient because of pickup at the cruise terminal. It hit the highlights given limited time in port and holiday vs. Jakarta's size and traffic. Sadly due to timing we were not able to enter the Istiqlal Mosque, nor the Cathedral (New Year's mass in progress). I was expecting just a puppet show at the Makutharama Puppet Studio stop, so was pleasantly surprised that it's more of a gallery with some exquisite offerings.
