Ine and Khalim make a fantastic team! Ine was so kind and accommodating, sharing her personal perspective of the city and even going shopping with me at Sarinah market (a absolute must-see!). Khalim was a patient, attentive driver who handled the Jakarta traffic effortlessly—so glad he was driving instead of me! They were both exceptionally flexible, caring, and welcoming. I can't recommend them enough!

Itinerary
After pick up and drive within 30 minutes from your hotel area, proceed to Chinatown in Glodok area. Entering the Chinatown you will see the temple with old pagoda which was built in 1650 and visit the old temple of "Yin and Yang", Good and Bad, Heaven and Hell or karma. Then exploring the market of Petak Sembilan. Glodok is one of the old Chinatown that people called the area "Grojok" refer to the sound of Sundanese before the colonials, then Glodok also called "Gelodog" refer to the name of the gate of the area Batavia in the colonials time. In this experience is you will be fascinated by area where local people says "Glodok". Many shops you can find such Herbalis and Apotik, Candy, cracker and cakes, etc. After Glodok proceed to Old town into 10 minutes.
Entering the area of Old town, you will see old building designed by chinese european style which had been standing since colonials era, inside the Old town there is big garden in 139 Sqm, also called Cityhall, then the people called "Fatahillah park" refer the name of Sultanete of Banten who attacked the area in "Sunda Kelapa" the first of Jakarta side. while you are in the park, you will see some buildings are used for museums, post office, cafe and official. In the afternoon, we will spend one hour or less. Then proceed to Fish market before or after PIK as the highlight of program. PIK is the modern Chinatown in the northern coast Jakarta. In this program either you can choose your time longer or short depend on your time we provided for half day tour. You can also choose the best place for Dinner time with our recommendation such as Cafe Batavia Jakarta, Resto Apung Fish market or in PIK Avenue area.
Jakarta provides an interesting place for fish market concept and culinary tourism through Resto Floating Muara Angke. As the name suggests, this restaurant is on the sea. However, access to reach the Floating Resto does not require crossing by boat because the restaurant entrance is on land. In here you can see, buy the fish or buy and cook directly in Resto Apung.
After arriving "The highlight of the tour" you will have a fascinating Chinatown in afternoon with the light of lantern. This is a Jakarta Business Distric of Chinese dominant area with nice view and more instragamable then you can explore the avenue with long canals and red lampion along, you will have dinner time or just take picture, shopping or hang out.
This is the final of our program, and proceed back to hotel, and we make photostop at monument national as the symbol of capital of Indonesia, in the glimmering shinning Gold in the night in the height of 132 metres in 80 Ha area graden in front of presidential palace. drop you to hotel in 1 Hour

Ferdy and our tour guide Gindo was very knowledgeable of the history, he speaks English fluently, and was very accommodating throughout the tour. 1. We Visited Glodok area district, stopped by oldest Chinese Buddhist temple dates back to the 17th century 2. Fatahillah Park - Jakarta Old Town, a large gathering place surrounded by museums, post office, restaurants, etc. Unfortunately, looking deeper into interesting Wayang museums, and Fine arts are not part of our itinerary. 3. Finally, we thought the PIK was "The highlight of the tour" with modern business district Chinatown feel and plenty of types of restaurants to choose from.
We enjoyed the people and the sights of Jakarta. I would suggest eating in the fish market, more authentic atmosphere 😊
The tour guide, Siti and driver pak Zikri were kind and friendly! We enjoyed the tour learning bits of history and eating good food! Siti was happy to answer any questions we had and ensured we were having a good experience! It was a unique experience!
Jakarta has a lot of traffic. But you get through it. The PKI 1 is a great place to eat dinner, and get a pic of the Pagoda. Visit PKI 2 at night, and see the lights on the bridge change.
Enok was a great tour guide! Very nice and knew lots of information about the area we were visiting.
The tour I selected was not so special rather the company of the Guide Siti who was the best guide I hv ever met travelling all along the world . She was very informative, a very sound knowledge of history, culture of different country was beyond my belief and also very proficient in English . The driver Syamsui was ever courteous and hence the company of them both made the tour and an evening of outing in Jakarta worthwhile . As with the tour they will cover all the places of the itinerary but be ware of the traffic in Jakarta .
Very interesting tour. We were picked up at ships dock by our guide 'Borneo'. He and his driver expertly weaved their way through the congested streets of Jakarta to arrive at 'Old' Chinatown. An interesting assortment of storefronts some with some very old cabinetry reminiscent of times past. We walked through a maze of alleys lined with vendors of various wares toward an old Buddhist shrine which unfortunately had burned down and has been replaced by a temporary structure - but still interesting. From there we moved to the Dutch Old Town and walked the old plaza surrounded by administrative buildings from the time of Dutch rule. We then drove to PIK Avenue - wow what a difference. This is modern and organized section of the city vastly different from the ramshackle old city with its dense population and heavy traffic. This is where you'll find the Pagoda shown in the ad for this tour. Lastly, we visited the fish market. For me it was the most interesting part of the tour because it was different from most other markets I've visited in Asia. A huge market brimming with all kinds of fish of both fresh and saltwater. Trucks were constantly arriving with new catch. Others were leaving loaded with their purchases. Thousands of vendors, lots of activity. A visual feast. Our guide. Borneo was entertaining and showed us a good time.
Awesome tour of the city. Excellent drive and super knowledgeable guide. Haider was our guide and he was very good. Highly this tour with this guide.
Very interesting and informative tour. The guide Haider was very knowledgeable and friendly with excellent English. The fish market experience was something different and well worth doing but maybe don’t wear your best shoes! Restaurant then cooks your seafood you choose. Yummy! Overall I would highly recommend this tour.
My wife and I had only an afternoon in Jakarta before heading to Bali and were able to book this tour on short notice. Communications with the company were prompt and direct. Our guide, Ms Enok arrived promptly at the agreed upon time at our hotel. The driver, Rishwan, did a great job navigating us thru the busy streets. Ms Enok was delightful and an excellent guide. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Enok and this tour!
Was very amazing with the New Chinatown area, very beautiful and clean with wide variety of eatery's outlets. The guide is friendly and bring us to local fish market for dinner at own expenses.
Our afternoon tour of Chinatown/Jakarta was excellent! The guides were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. New Chinatown is the last stop, and there are so many food options, so make sure to go hungry! Highly recommend this tour.
A lots of vendors that very famous and luxury, this place like neo city with chinese dominan. I can say this is like sngapore. In the beginning we stopped at old chinese area in Jakarta, visiting the old tempe and market, stopped to old town was interesting with break at cafe Batavia for Coffee, then we back to hotel stop at landmark in the night. Our guide ferdy was frendly invited me to cathedral in first time. I didnt expected Jakarta has new branding for city such like neo chinatown. But went to here much traffic. While we are heading to area, visited also in fish market rather than interesting to visit. I would recomend this trip in the afternoon in your optional.
This is the first choice of the trip in Jakarta, during the time after arrived the city. Did you know this Jakarta, I never know. It was traffic that I came, but it was not my expected with the trip to Chinatown. It was totally story of China in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. I visit the oldest temples that time is best for me because of occasion after funeral then go to the new City they called PIK, I think that built by owner to be come good spot. I prefer to sit on one of cafe and chinesse resto. But before I visit Old town. This tour is served with food, okay with my expenses extra, because food so much. Our guide was amazing talented, not only his experienced but he is veri communicative person, tell about history and the culture. Ferdy. And the driver was very talented in driving traffic. But it perfect time.
