Booked a room for this place June 16- June 18. I ended up only staying for a couple hour and checking out. Didn’t even stay one day. It was full of mosquitoes, smelled of mold and it was terribly loud. Not only that but it is definitely not a four star hotel. Probably at least a two star
This holiday was unfortunately disappointing because I made the wrong choice in selecting accommodation for 3 nights. Most places were already fully booked, and I forced myself to stay here, which ended up being a loss for me. The price was quite expensive considering the poor condition of the hotel. There were many uncomfortable things, such as: The room I stayed in was rather dirty when I first entered, so I had to do extra cleaning myself. The room smelled very damp and musty, making it uncomfortable to stay inside for a long time. There was a lot of old furniture and the bed sheets looked worn out and dirty. The beach atmosphere was indeed calm and beautiful, but the street vendors were not controlled properly. Some of them were quite pushy when selling, which disturbed my family vacation. The swimming pool was small and very mossy, to the point that my child did not want to swim. Honestly, I do not know what happened with this hotel, whether they are lacking staff or something else, but I am quite confused and disappointed. To be honest, I will not come back again. I hope this can become a concern and evaluation for the hotel management. Thank you
All around near perfect 4.9 experience. Staying in Samudra Pasifik type, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 story house. Facilities: - All bedrooms including the main gathering room on the ground floor was air conditioned. Spacious, clean, and very homey. - Plenty space for parking, 2 private carpool, and the lobby parking area is also available. - The area surrounding the villa was private, you have shared garden for exercising, playing drones. Coconut trees and plants were plenty, it was a pretty display. - It also has semi-private beach, but ultimately you can freely roam to the other part of the beach without fees. Water wasn't the best, but it was clean. No debris floatinf around. Sand is good, and there was a built in goal stand for you to play football here. Attractions: - Local guide will offer you banana boat ride or even jetsky ride. They alos has ATV for rent. Jetsky was around 250k for 10 minutes ride, banana boat ride was 200k, and ATV ride was around 50-80k for 6 laps going from one end of the beach to another. It was fair, you still can haggle for better price - The pool was not the best. It was small and it wasn't dirty but a bit "sandy" Food: - To be frank, breakfast was disappointing. Food wasn't really that great for me personally, there are minimal choices. - At the beach, merchants will offer you freshly caught prawns or even sometimes "lobster". You have to judge yourself either that lobster was real or just a large prawn/cray. Service: - Staff are friendly and helpful. From the front desk, technicians and restaurant servers. They were all trained to handle large crowd of vacationing people. In summary, it was a great experience. The only downside for me is the food and pool. *Note: They experienced a lot of trouble from hackers on their website. Make sure you contact them on the correct address. Also, if you are using booking app like agoda or any other, double-check for the breakfast coupons terms to the hotel first.
I’ll share a more detailed description of the villa’s condition: We stayed at Samudra Indonesia 1. From the outside it looks quite small, but the inside is surprisingly spacious. The villa is located right next to the swimming pool. It has two master bedrooms, each with a king-size bed (the upstairs master bedroom also has a balcony), plus two additional rooms with twin beds, and two bathrooms. It’s fully equipped with a living room, dining area, and kitchen. You’ll find a TV, fridge, hot & cold water dispenser, stove with gas, dish soap, bathroom amenities, as well as plates, cutlery, glasses, pans, and a kettle—really convenient for those who don’t want to bring too much stuff from home but still want to cook. Since the building is older, a few parts show wear—like some worn doors and slightly rusty bathrooms—but overall the villa is clean and comfortably cool. The living room has AC, and all bedrooms already had their AC turned on before we checked in. The staff and security team were very friendly. Is it recommended? Yes—definitely recommended for a stay.
