The Arista Hotel

The best hotel in Palembang. The location is the best because it's close to everywhere, near the LRT station, malls, and hospitals. I checked in on June 27th and checked out on June 28th. Having stayed here multiple times, I have never been disappointed. The rooms are spacious and clean. ​The breakfast is a winner. On Sundays, you can have breakfast until 12 PM, so there's no need to rush. The Front Office is very helpful, especially Ms. Dwi and Ms. Anela. Whenever there's a problem, they are always ready to help. Definitely will come back to this hotel!

I am disappointed with the parking service at your hotel. When I checked in, I parked in front of the lobby. I asked the security staff if that parking space could be reserved for me, but I was told that reservations were not allowed. Later, I left the hotel to go out and returned with my car. When I came back, the parking space in front of the lobby was empty, but I was not allowed to park there. The security staff said that the space had already been reserved for a corporate guest. However, I am also staying under a corporate booking. I find this policy inconsistent and unfair. If parking spaces can indeed be reserved, then the same policy should apply equally to all corporate guests. Please review and improve this parking policy and ensure that it is implemented consistently. Thank you.

For a five-star hotel, the service at the reception desk was very disappointing. I checked out on a Wednesday, and the receptionist (her name was Dewi or Dwi, I forget which) was unfriendly and had a sour expression. I understand that the reception area was busy and crowded, but that is no excuse for unprofessional behavior. As a guest, I was left with a poor impression. I work in customer service myself, so I know how challenging busy situations can be; However, being busy should not be an excuse for failing to provide professional and courteous service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to my family or friends.

I believe this is the best hotel you would experience if you stayed in Palembang. Pros: * just across from Palembang Icon * spacious room, beautifully designed, premium feeling in every corner * bathroom is clean and convenient * huge lobby, luxurious, super fragrant, and i love the atmosphere and lighting * breakfast is top tier, delicious and offers a variety of food options * staff are very helpful and informative * smart tv and has several OTT media services such as Netflix Cons: * nothing significant, just hoping maybe the flooring could use carpet so guests won’t get their feet cold * also, the road in front of the hotel sometimes floods due to heavy rain We left baby clothing in the room and were quickly informed by the hotel to pick it up, and it was packed very well and maintained. i have a big feeling that this hotel takes their guest comfort seriously.
