I booked a Grand Deluxe Premier room and was kindly upgraded to a spacious Executive Deluxe Premier room on the highest floor. I also received late check-out until 4:00 PM, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of food and a spacious dining area. Although it was quite busy, the atmosphere remained comfortable. The evening cocktail exceeded my expectations—the food selection was varied, delicious, filling, and more than enough for a light dinner. The hotel and room design feel rather dated, but the room was spacious and equipped with a living area, bathtub, and smart toilet. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The bedding could be improved, as the pillows and duvet had started to look yellowish, while the pillows were also rather flat and uncomfortable. The welcome amenity, consisting of mochi and a small portion of grapes, was also quite simple. The Premier Lounge only opens for evening cocktails, with no afternoon tea, and children are not permitted inside. However, the staff kindly allowed my children to sit on the sofas outside and helped bring food and drinks to them. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and especially appreciated the generous room upgrade, good food, and thoughtful service.

I stayed to Novotel Mangga Dua to celebrate my daughter 10th birthday and it was a pleasant experience for me and family. We feel home with all the politeness of staff from arrival till departure.. good quality of food. Many variants of breakfast and comfy space to hang out with families. Well done Ibu Ratih, Haikal, Renny, Ahmad, Alma, Pak Zaenal, Pak Sidik and Pak Adit I really feel like home and for sure wanna come back again! Unforgettable birthday celebration for my beloved daughter. Thank you Novotel Jakarta Mangga Dua :)
There are hotels that simply provide a place to sleep, and there are hotels that make you feel genuinely welcomed. This was definitely the latter. Every interaction felt warm and sincere, the room was spotless, and everything was thoughtfully prepared. It’s the kind of stay that quietly exceeds expectations. Thank you to the entire team for making the experience so enjoyable. Looking forward to returning.
During our checkin on June 6th, we had to wait a little longer than expected. However, it was completely made up by excellent service and facilities. It was my fiancé's birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised when the staff joined in celebrating with us. Special thanks to mas Wildan and team for their effort in preparing the birthday cake and beautiful mirror art. Everything was stunning, and the cake was delicious. As for breakfast, the menu was unfortunately a bit limited, so there weren't many options to choose. Our favorite dish was chicken curry cuz the seasoning was rich and flavorful. Overall, it was a great place for short escape. The swimming pool is spacious, and it's a nice spot to relax and hangout. But during our stay there were a lot of group guests, so the atmosphere felt a bit crowded and chaotic at times. Good job, Novotel Jakarta! definitely look forward to coming back again.
I stayed at Novotel Mangga Dua for 4 nights and overall had a good experience, though it sits more in the “solid” category rather than anything exceptional. I booked the Jacuzzi Suite, which was definitely a highlight. The jacuzzi itself was great — I only ended up using it once, but it was a nice bonus feature to have. I also really liked the semi-balcony setup. Being able to open up the doors and let fresh air into the room made a noticeable difference and gave the space a more open feel. The room itself was modern enough and generally comfortable, but not without a few drawbacks. There was a slight musty smell, likely from the carpets, which took away a bit from the overall experience. That said, everything was still in decent condition and nothing really stood out as a major issue. Location-wise, it’s very convenient, especially if you’re planning to visit Mangga Dua markets — everything is close by and easy to access. Breakfast was also pretty good, with a decent selection and enough variety to keep things interesting over a few days. In terms of value for money, this is where the hotel really performs well. The room rates are quite reasonable for what you get, especially for a suite, making it a good choice if you want something comfortable without overspending. Overall: A good, reasonably priced stay with a few minor flaws — not perfect, but definitely worth considering.
