Montigo Resorts Nongsa

Had an amazing experience in Montigo Resort. Really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the place. The villa was gorgeous and the amenities were nice. Location was easy to access and was a very quick car ride from the ferry terminal. The staff and service crew were very respectful and always kind. Cleanliness was great the villa was always kept spotless. Thank you so much Montigo Resort for this wonderful weekend stay, Hoping to come back soon.

I came here for a 4 day 3 night trip with my family and stayed in the Sea View villa. I loved my time there! The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs, the room was also in good condition and comfortable. They also have many activities to do within the resort itself, like archery, shooting, swimming, and even batik painting and tie dyeing. There are also many restaurants focusing on different cuisines, which really diversified our dining experience there. The resort is quite big, and it can be tiring to walk around. Thankfully, they have buggy service that usually arrives within 5-15 minutes. However, the buggy could be lower, as it can be quite high, which makes it a bit difficult for the elderly to get on and off after a while. They do have stools that we can use to get on and off but they’re not provided all the time. The complementary breakfast was also decent, but the breakfast spread could be improved to provide more options, it can get a little repetitive after a few days. Overall, I had a wonderful time staying here and I won’t forget this place. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family ⭐

We had a wonderful 4D3N Babymoon stay at Montigo Resorts and truly appreciated the warm hospitality throughout our visit. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure our family was well taken care of. A special shoutout to Duan for assisting us with our transport arrangements to and from the ferry terminal — his support made our journey seamless and stress-free. I also had an excellent experience at the wellness spa. My therapist, Yolanda, had truly magical hands. I opted for the pregnancy massage, and she made the entire experience incredibly relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my stay. That said, I am unable to give a full 5-star rating as the villa we stayed in (Villa 85) appears to be in need of some refurbishment. The signs of wear and tear were quite noticeable. The flooring near the kitchen area felt damp underfoot, the paintwork could use some touch-ups, and the staircase was rather dusty. The bathrooms would also benefit from additional amenities such as cotton pads and shower caps. In addition, my husband received several bug bites while resting on the poolside lounge sofa. We also found that the refrigerator was not functioning properly and was unable to keep our drinks cold. Montigo continues to shine in terms of service and hospitality, and the staff are undoubtedly one of its greatest strengths. However, the maintenance and cleanliness of the villas could be improved to better reflect the standards expected of a 5-star resort

We stayed at the Deluxe one-room villa (#1901). The room was spacious, and the private pool was perfect for our small family. Unfortunately, the resort did not live up to our expectations of a 5-star resort. We are two adults with one baby. We booked directly via their website. We checked in at 4:50 pm, which was quite late. We took the buggy to our room and were disappointed to find that we were assigned a room requiring a flight of stairs up and then down to reach the door. This was super inconvenient for us with a baby. We understand that it was peak period, the resort was likely fully booked, and we checked in late, but the least they could have done was inform us at check-in. Nevertheless, the buggy staff were all nice and helped us carry our luggage. We were surprised to see stained hand towels, face towels, and bath mats. However, the body towels were clean, white, and smelled nice. There was a stark difference. The breakfast location would have been better if it were in the middle of the property near the lobby instead of at the far end. The breakfast was average, especially the wok-fried noodles, though the roti jala was nice.Overall, for the price paid, we expected better, but our choices were limited as we specifically wanted a private pool. We hope they can improve in the future, and we would be glad to return again.
