Mayang Sari Beach Resort

Mayang Sari Beach Resort has a beautiful location, amazing scenery, and a lovely luxury-room experience. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing, and I genuinely enjoyed the overall ambience of the resort. However, the bathroom maintenance and service were quite disappointing. The water pressure was very low, and the bathroom drainage was severely clogged, causing the bathroom to flood whenever we took a shower. We informed the room service team on the second day, but unfortunately, the issue was not properly rectified. On the third day, when the bathroom flooded again, we had to call the service team immediately because it became quite frustrating. I feel the bathrooms should be thoroughly checked and cleaned, especially the drainage, before handing over a room to a new guest. Regular maintenance and a proper inspection would make a huge difference to the guest experience. On the positive side, the massage centre was good, and I really loved the luxury room, the beautiful surroundings and the location. For food, there are good options available — local Indonesian food at Deli Café and Indian food at SPICE. Personally, I found the vegetarian options better than the non-vegetarian choices. Overall, Mayang Sari has all the ingredients to be a wonderful resort experience. With better housekeeping, regular bathroom maintenance and quicker attention to such complaints, the service could improve significantly. I hope the management takes this feedback positively because the resort itself is beautiful and definitely has great potential. 🌴✨

Private beach resort with lovely sea view chalets. You get full privacy and very nice crystal clear beach and less people. Not much to do unless you wait for shuttle bus every 30 mins to go to main Nirwana Garden resort for swimming pool, bar, ktv or resort center for bowling. Mayang Sari has only one restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also order food and they will deliver to your chalet. Good for family, couple and who loves quiet environment. Beyond that there is nothing much to do other than swim, sleep, eat and sit idlely by the beach. We did enjoy our 4 days 3 Nights stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the resort with our kids. The resort was beautiful, clean, and very family-friendly, with plenty of activities and spaces for children to enjoy. Our kids had an amazing time and didn't want to leave! The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. They were warm, welcoming, and especially kind to our children, always greeting them with smiles and making them feel special. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our family vacation truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this resort to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway, and we look forward to visiting again.

Mayang Sari Resort, Bintan (Stayed: 16–18 Feb 2026) The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and feature high ceilings. Staff members are courteous and helpful, which made the stay pleasant in terms of service. However, several aspects were disappointing: • No swimming pool within the resort. • The beach is not suitable for walking or bathing, with tar visible in the sand and water. • On-site minimart prices are extremely inflated (15–20x higher than local markets). • The only Indian restaurant, Spice, is very expensive. • Shuttle bus service to swimming or recreational areas was unsatisfactory. Overall: Comfortable rooms and polite staff, but the lack of accessible amenities, overpriced facilities, and poor shuttle service make the resort less appealing for a relaxing holiday.
