Manhattan Hotel Jakarta

Room is very old, musky and rundown. In my business tripsn got a corner room which was generous in size. However upon entering the room you can smeel the foul and musky air. Drapes were disgusting with a lot of stains. Bathroom blinds closed with big gaps which gives no sense of privacy especially since the windoe is facing an office building. Bed was broken, literally broken and caused backache. I tried to give benefit of a doubt by sleeping for 1 night and made it clear second night there is not an option. We decided to move hotel although wr are paying out of pocket. Location is great, breakfast quality is okay,, but check in service was very slow. 5-star status is deceiving customers. I think I will rest better staying in a 3 star hotels like fave or ibis due to its cleanliness. I dont know how this hotel gets 4.5 star review on google. Its time to renovate!

Given the price point, I received far more value and hospitality than expected! ​The Highlights: ​Warm Welcome: From the moment we dropped off our bags, the staff was attentive. Check-in was smooth, complete with welcome drinks and refreshing cold towels—a lovely touch that immediately set the tone. ​The Room: The hotel has a classic, timeless interior. While it is an older building, everything was clean and well-maintained. We had a minor issue with the AC, but the team resolved it quickly. Plus, the night view of the city lights from the room was unforgettable! ​Dining & Perks: We got a 20% discount on food with no tax or service charge, so we ordered a few meals—great value. Breakfast was phenomenal with an impressive variety of delicious options. ​Kids' Activity: Do not miss the kids' activities! While I didn’t get the staff members' names, their leadership and professionalism with the children were top-notch. ​Final Thought: What impressed me most was the team culture. You can tell management takes great care of staff well-being and avoids burnout—every single staff member was genuinely happy, humble, and attentive. We will definitely be back!

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was how clean, fresh, and welcoming the hotel felt. The lobby was spotless, the entire property smelled pleasant. Every staff member I encountered was INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY, so polite and genuinely helpful throughout my stay!!! The check in process was fast and efficient, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. What impressed me the most, however, was the level of service provided by the staff. The hotel has excellent business facilities, and during my stay I needed several documents printed. Not only were the staff willing to help, but they did so promptly and professionally. I was especially impressed when I requested assistance with printing at around 12:30 a.m. and the staff immediately helped me without any inconvenience. That level of dedication and customer service truly stood out. Thank yo so much! The breakfast was another highlight of my stay. The restaurant is spacious, comfortable, and well organized. There was a wide selection of food available, including both local and international options. I was pleasantly surprised to see sushi included among the breakfast offerings, which added a unique touch. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious, and there was enough variety to suit different tastes The room itself was comfortable, very clean, and well maintained. While the hotel may not be the newest property and some areas show signs of age, everything is kept in excellent condition. The room was tidy, functional, and provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay I also had the chance to use the gym during my stay. The staff were very friendly and approachable!!! Although some of the machines are older models, they are still in excellent working condition and clearly well maintained. The gym was clean, organized, and had everything I needed for a good workout The location is also excellent. It is very strategic and convenient for getting around the city, and Kuningan City Mall is within walking distance I would definitely recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future! :)

The hotel has a great location, comfortable and well-maintained rooms, and good overall facilities. The property is conveniently situated, making it easy to get around Jakarta, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The food and breakfast selection were good, with a reasonable variety of choices. Overall, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient experience and offers good value for a stay in Jakarta. However, the service could be improved. I would have given the hotel a full 5-star rating if the staff had been a little more hospitable, warm, and accommodating. A friendlier attitude and greater willingness to assist guests would have made the experience much more memorable. Overall, a good hotel and a pleasant stay, with hospitality being the main area where there is room for improvement.
