The room was elegant, spacious and beautifully decorated with warm, luxurious tones. The bed was very comfortable, and the seating area made the room feel relaxing and homely. The bathroom was generally clean and spacious, with a separate glass-enclosed shower, marble-style vanity and good-quality amenities. I really liked the classic design and overall atmosphere. Side note: One thing that could be improved was the toilet door, which was broken and could not be closed properly. Hopefully, this can be repaired soon for future guests, as it does affect privacy and convenience. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. With a little attention to maintenance, the room could be even better. ✨

Stayed one night at this hotel and the experience was bad from the start.For the price of almost RM300 per night, the service should have been better. 1) room was spacious as I booked superior king so no issue with that 2) the shower , water hose in the toilet and the sink tap in the bathroom let out black stained water. The management send a staff to check but still problem not solved.The guy said that the did tank maintainance work during the day.I personally do not believe that. 3 ) They changed me to a new room with no water issues which is fine to me 4) but the new room looks it had just been checked out and the blanket not properly tucked in. 5 ) The pillow case smell like it has not been washed in ages..the smell is just so disturbing. I stayed at Holiday Inn Bandung for previous 2 nights for a price of RM300 per night and the room and service were superb.When I check into this hotel which priced almost RM300, it is just plain dissappointment.

The best thing about this hotel is its location; close to Thamrin City, Grand Indo & Plaza Indo. There are also a lot of places to eat nearby. The good: -Breakfast is decent, not very many options though but tasty. -Laundry is done by 3rd party, just leave with concierge. Price by kg is cheap, laundry smells nice and clean. I chose the next-day package and it was ready on time. -Checking in and out was fast and easy. They require a cash security deposit which was immediately returned at checkout. The not-so-good: -The room is small, barely any room to open 2 luggages and to find space to place sajadah for prayers. -The shower is not very clean, there seems to be black mold between the tiles on the wall and the water is slow to drain out. -There is no water dispenser to top up drinking water. Hopefully management will take note and make the necessary changes. The current standards does not match a 4-star rating.

My Review of Maia Hotel I stayed at Maia Hotel last week. As a 4-star hotel, I honestly had higher expectations. Unfortunately, my first impression was disappointing. The bathroom was not clean and had many visible stains, which should not happen at this level and price point. Other aspects of the hotel were generally okay. However, considering the price and 4-star rating, I believe the overall experience should have been better. The food was okay and there were a lot of choices that u can pick. I would like to strongly highlight my experience at the spa. I do not recommend using the spa services here. The staff was unprofessional she was using her phone during the massage, which made the experience very uncomfortable. During payment, I was pressured to pay in cash, and it later became clear that they were asking for tips. Even after I had already gave 100k rupiah for the tips, I was asked to round up the price through her qris bank account, which felt very unprofessional and informal. I was uncomfortable. There are many other spas with a more calming atmosphere, better equipment, and more professional service in Jakarta. Unfortunately, the spa at Maia Hotel does not meet those standards. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements in the future.
