Hotel 88 Blok M

the hotel is well located in BLOK M in front is the entrance to the famous Blok M Food Alley and other shops where you can buy souvenirs and batik items/cloths to take home. free breakfast were buffet style so you can fill up to energize your adventure for the day. accessibility to busway terminal and MRT are all 5mins away from the hotel.

Decent but not perfect hotel. Absolutely terrible muzak with the worst saxophones to run away from the lobby as soon as possible. For Indonesia and Java, it's a pretty good place.

Very noisy at night. I'm on the 7th floor (their highest floor) and I can hear and FEEL the music and the bass from a club across the street. Called the front desk to switch room because I could not sleep, and they changed up on me. I called another 5 minutes later, and they just told me that it's fully booked and that there's nothing they can do. Be warned if you want a peaceful sleep! UPDATE: Thursday night was very noisy but Friday night was fine. So it really depends on the night and what kind of music the neighbors want to play. For the most part, the staff is nice but was not able to resolve the noise issue (not in their control).

The hotel's location is strategically located within the Blok M area and close to the MRT station. It's easy to enjoy a variety of culinary delights, especially trending/viral dishes. The room are clean and the breakfast was delicious and quite varied. Staffs are very helpful and I was impressed by the friendliness of the security guards. Excellent service, making 5-day stay memorable. Thank you.
