Been to this resort twice. I had an amazing stay at Holiday Inn Resort Batam and will definitely be coming back again and again! The accommodation was excellent—our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The resort itself has a relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a holiday. What impressed me the most was the outstanding service from all the staffs. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile. They were friendly, attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the FIFA World Cup match between Portugal and Spain together with some of the resort staff at the sport lounge at 2am. It was such a fun and memorable experience, sharing the excitement of the game with everyone. It made our stay feel even more special and created wonderful memories. The resort massage spa was also wonderful—they provide an excellent massage ,I like their skills so professional that made our stay even more relaxing. Thank you to the entire team at Holiday Inn Resort Batam for your excellent hospitality. I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Batam, and I can’t wait to return again and again!

Wonderful Service and Smooth Stay, but Major Dining and Language Barriers The Good: Best Hospitality: The front desk team was incredibly helpful. Check-in and check-out were seamless, extra room top-ups were provided with no questions asked, and they even granted us a free early check-in at 11:00 AM. Cleanliness: The hotel is well-maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Main Dining & Bakery: The main dining area is perfectly fine. The morning breakfast features really good, fresh breads and cakes. The Disappointments / Areas for Improvement: Major Language Barrier & Kitchen Blunders: There is a significant communication gap with the restaurant staff that impacts the food. Our spice instructions were completely reverse, the dishes that should have had normal spice came out entirely bland, while the one specific dish we ordered with "no spice" came out spicy. Breakfast Service Slips: While the bakery items are a highlight, the rest of the breakfast buffet is below average. The kitchen also lacks attention to detail, they completely forgot the omelet order we explicitly asked for. Thai Restaurant Ventilation: The Thai restaurant was a major letdown. There is zero ventilation, causing the intense heat from the kitchen to bleed into the dining area, making it very uncomfortable to sit in. Game Room Maintenance: The game room has no air conditioning, and the darts are broken/unusable

We had a wonderful 3D2N stay at Holiday Inn Resort Batam and would definitely recommend it to others. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. We had requested a higher-floor room away from the lifts, and the team kindly accommodated our request. We were even personally escorted all the way to our room, which was a nice touch. We informed the hotel that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they truly made the occasion special. Upon entering the room, we were surprised with a slice of cake and a beautiful bed decoration. These thoughtful gestures meant a lot to us and made our celebration even more memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only area that could be improved would be the bedding but overall, we were very happy with the room. The hotel facilities and amenities were excellent, offering plenty to do for both couples and families with children. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The buffet spread was impressive, with a great variety of delicious food that we thoroughly enjoyed. Although it was a very busy holiday weekend, we could see that every staff member was doing their best to provide excellent service, and their hard work did not go unnoticed. The resort is located away from the busy city area, but the travel time is absolutely worth it because of the fantastic facilities, peaceful environment, and overall experience. A big thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary celebration so special. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

The Holiday Inn is a fantastic hotel with amazing staff. Sure the rooms and hotel might be a little tired, but the value for money and the amazing service from staff more than make up for that. We ate breakfast and ate at the Thai restaurant and the bbq buffet. It was superb and again great value for money. With two children 11 and 14, they enjoyed the pool immensely. There is a shuttle bus to take you from the seaport to the hotel and back. Plus a shuttle bus to take you to one of Batams malls. We used the spa as a family and it was again amazing value for money and an amazing experience. We were really looked after as a family.
