The building upkeep is not done very well, I guess it’s because by the beach and it’s dense. Our room was just painted and it has a strong painting smell that make my son allergy to it’s nose and keep sneezing.
It’s a hotel by the beach. Beach side is clean. Under water were mostly coral and Seaweed.
Hotel area is quite big. There is a swimming pool that some day there is bubble party.
The plus point for this hotel organise kids activities. There were cooking class ( more like food decorating) , towel art , treasure hunt, movie night etc. we were given voucher for this activities.
Breakfast is not great and personal opinion it’s not kids friendly also considering they have arranged so many kids activities. The white bread served was cold and there was not toaster.
And there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. My husband busy hunting them. We killed at least 15 of them.
Should improve the check in/out system so it can process faster.
This hotel is like 1 star (⭐️), everything seems old school, nothing special stay in here. They only sale view of the beach. Bed room very standard, doormats and towel are dirty. They should doing improvement in their Hotel. I'm not recommended for stay overnight in here and I'll never back again to the Grand Elty Krakatao. But thank you for all staff, they very helpful.
The villa room needs improvement. The water supply stopped working at night, and the hot water didn’t function properly. The bed frame made creaking noises, the room phone was out of order, and there were mosquitoes and ants entering the room.
The resort offers significant potential, particularly due to its stunning private beach view. Guests can enjoy the clear water and white sand on its beautiful beach. However, there are areas for improvement regarding the accommodations. The room may require attention, dampness, uneven flooring, and non-fitting bed sheets. Additionally, the bathrooms appear to need updating and cleaning. One concerning thing is a cockroach in the shower area, highlighting the necessity for enhanced maintenance.
Didn’t stay here but visited the restaurant and the beach. Absolutely excellent view of Mount Rajabasa from its beach, which is unparalleled and I don’t think you can find it anywhere else.
Service in the restaurant was speedy and the food was delicious. It was also definitely cheap too, compared to Javanese prices.
One drawback is that the beach is open to the public for a fee and therefore it can be quite an “attraction” atmosphere, not particularly romantic, despite the views. But they probably have other beaches, I don’t know.
You can see Mount Krakatau too but a bit further.
