Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta

The Four Seasons Jakarta is top notch. It is a beautiful hotel in a good location close to lots. Pool is so nice with a great view. But what sets it apart is the service, absolutely superb! Every employee I interacted with was friendly and genuinely wanted to help me and guests with anything and everything. Special thanks to Ridwan for luggage/bellhop, Awai at check in, Rizki, Valen, Rafi and especially Reggy at breakfast, Rannu and others at concierge, Aji for room service, Najwa for cleaning, Pki for turndown service and especially to Wahyu at the pool. All were so helpful and kind. Small touches such as leaving a microfibre cloth for my IPad really set this hotel apart from other luxury hotels in Jakarta.

I stayed here as part of The Edit collection by Chase. It was an excellent hotel. The hotel itself is pretty large, multiple entrances. Staff and service were great from the very start. Check in (and check out) were very efficient. We got upgraded into a suite and even with an added bed in the living room, it was very spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. Wifi worked well. Breakfast buffet was next level. Welcome gift of fresh fruit daily. Amazing food. Our breakfast was included, but cost was otherwise very affordable. Only negative was the location. There's not many places within walking distance. Ride share was easy, but would still require a car to get out of the area. Not really an issue for us, but something to keep in mind. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Just stayed here for the 2nd time in August 2026. The experience has significantly declined since last year February 2025. So much so, that I might not reconsider a future stay. Upon arrival, the entire suite had a foul smell. It was obvious the odor was coming from the shower because the smell got stronger when the shower door opened. Seems it has probably not been cleaned properly, consistently. Also, last visit there was a welcome slice of desert cake on the table. However this year there was only 3 pieces of seemingly nearly rotten fruit (bruised/brown). The memory foam pillow was much too firm - couldn’t even use it. The hair conditioner was so horrible and not conditioning at all, that it left my extremely straight hair in rough knots. I have never experienced such bad conditioner at a 5 star hotel. I had to get back into the shower with my personal backup conditioner to fix it. Then the hair dryer burnt my hand while using. I didn’t even touch the hot back end, this was near the front where the attachment adds on. They did nicely replace the hair dryer with a different brand after I left a note for housekeeping. My room keys stopped working during my stay, so I had to go back down to the lobby to get them fixed. Room service dinner took at least an hour to arrive after being quoted 40 minutes (which is still very long). I had to finally call and check on the status before it got delivered. The food arrived almost cold and the flavor was not good at all. I got the zucchini basil soup and beef ragu pasta. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the mattress was comfortable and the breakfast service was nice. However, overall very disappointed in the Four Seasons.

Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta – Simply Exceptional This is truly how a hotel should be. From the moment we arrived at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The reception by the lovely ladies from Guest Experience was warm, personal and professional. Everything was handled so smoothly and effortlessly, making us feel like valued guests from the very first moment. Our room was absolutely beautiful, with a rich and elegant style and wonderful attention to detail. As we were celebrating our anniversary, the room had been beautifully decorated for us, complete with a delicious little anniversary cake thanks to Laura Sagala (guest experience manager) - such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. One thing we particularly appreciated was how quiet the room was. The sound insulation is excellent; you really don’t hear any noise from outside, making the room feel like a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of Jakarta. Breakfast was fantastic, with an excellent choice and beautiful quality. We also thoroughly enjoyed both lunch and dinner. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and the beautiful statement lamp is a real eye-catcher, adding to the sophisticated setting. The swimming pool is another lovely place to relax and catch your breath after exploring the city. We did, however, experience one small point that could be improved. During our visit, a family with very loud children was in the pool, which unfortunately disturbed the peaceful atmosphere for us and several other guests. The parents did not intervene, and although the pool attendant was present, he did not address the situation. We feel that this is perhaps something the pool team could be more attentive to, particularly when other guests are clearly being disturbed. That aside, this is a truly exceptional hotel. The combination of impeccable service, beautiful surroundings, elegant rooms, wonderful food and genuine hospitality makes Four Seasons Jakarta a very special place to stay. For us, this hotel really sets the standard for what a luxury hotel should be.
