Banyan Tree Bintan

Banyan Tree is an excellent place for having relaxing holidays. As a family of four we were welcomed by our assigned host, Fauzi, who did the checkin for us and introduced us to the resort and our 400sqm villa with infinity pool, where we stayed 6 nights and were missing nothing. The air-con works very well, WiFi is always available and fresh water refilled in glass bottles by the very friendly cleaning and turn down team every day. The ways from the villa to the three restaurants, the Spa, the beach and the yoga retreat could be long and sweaty in the tropical climate, so the resort offers a 24/7 electric buggy service for travel. Drivers are very friendly and especially Kasir, who drove us several times, was outstanding, memorizing even all our names! In the Spa we enjoyed two different massages by the highly professional team. In the restaurants we enjoyed delicious dinners, especially in the Thai-style restaurant „Saffron“, where Eliv and Niken, the Ricemaster, did a great job. In the Tree-top Restaurant, where also the excellent breakfast was served, the dinner was special due to the outstanding service of Fauzi and sitting on the terrace overlooking the bay and the beach. Overall Banyan Tree is highly recommendable for relaxing vacations. We will come back! Peter

We redeemed our stay via our AMEX platinum card and I must say the service exceeded our expectations. The moment we arrived at the resort it had a very zen vibe. The check in staff were wonderful too, explaining the information in detail. We then headed to Treetop for lunch which was wonderful. The service staff (lady) was so so patient! The service staff during breakfast was great too. Our massage was amazing too. Highly recommend. The pool staff was very nice and offered water+ fruits once I arrived at the pool. Lastly, Tommy who assisted with our turndown service was just excellent! He communicates well, and serves with good cheer and dedication; he certainly makes us feel very welcomed in Banyan. May I congratulate Banyan for having such an outstanding employee. The only downside was that the room was very dated.

We returned to Banyan Tree Bintan 20 years after visiting on our honeymoon, and it was every bit as special as we remembered. We had an amazing 5-night stay in a two-bedroom villa with an infinity pool. The villa was spacious, private, peaceful, and had the most beautiful views. Being nestled in the rainforest made the whole resort feel calm, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay. Kasir, in particular, always greeted us with a lovely smile, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble for any of the team. The restaurants within the resort were also delicious, especially the signature Saffron Thai restaurant, which was a highlight for us. Banyan Tree Bintan holds a very special place in our hearts, and we would definitely return again.

We are wowed by the experience we had during our 3D2N stay. The room is luxurious and surrounded by the views and sounds of nature. The essential oils and incense sticks in the room are a nice touch that elevate the experience during our stay. But it's the people who made the stay such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. The staff are well-trained, hospitable, and the interactions genuine. The housekeeping team ensures the place is spotless everyday. Lilik & Daus surprised us with a romantic bath during the turndown service and ensuring we are comfortable for the night. We had the pleasure of meeting Kasir from Day 1, who brought us to our room in his buggy and explaining the facilities in the room. We got to know him better the next few days as he drove us around the resort. A hardworking father of 2 daughters who always has a smile on his face. The staff at the reception are also fantastic. Though we couldn't get their names, they are always ready to assist you, whether it's the activities or transport and they have become familiar faces during our stay there. Thank you Banyan Tree for the hospitality shown during our stay.
