Travel Through The Streets Of Jaipur By Tuktuk With A Local

Thank you Flower for being my guide for 2 days in a row. I had the best time in Jaipur. A lot of flexibility, really patient. He dropped at amazing places I didn’t even heard about before and I had the chance to go to local shops and make good deals thanks to him. See you soon I hope !

We hailed a Tuk tuk at the side of the road to take us into the city to look around but within minutes we realised that we had got a driver that really knows the City streets and so much knowledge that he openly shared with us freely. He took us to the City palace and museum, we asked if he would wait as we wanted him to take us to see more, what a great guy, he agreed and we went on to the area of Gaitor where we wanted to visit a tailor, the place he took us to was fantastic with unbelievabley excellent prices for Suits, shirts and any article of clothing you wanted to have made with a choice of cloth beyond belief, beautiful hand made textile. We had such a great day and were so happy with our bargains that we asked if he would take us out the next day which he agreed to. When I asked the cost per day, he just replied "you pay me what you think it was worth and want and I'll be happy" so after taking us to see Amber Palace, Panna meena ka kund, water palace "Jal mahal" And a visit to the Elephant sanctuary that have very strict Animal health values which we loved beyond our expectations. After another spectacular day with Flower (his friendly name) he took us back to the Hotel and we thanked him and paid him what we thought he was worth. We hope he was happy with the payment as he gave us so much more than other drivers we have used and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would request though, that as he is such a kind and considerate Tuk tuk driver that when you pay him, please pay him fairly as I'm sure he will not disappoint you. We thank you again Flower if you read this message as you gave us a very privileged experience wherever you took us.

Flower offered us a tuk tuk outside City Palace. He was not at all pushy, we liked his attitude and personality. He asked where we had planned to go and then suggested some other sights which we were more than happy to accept. His knowledge (and very good English), his as very helpful and we felt that we got to see much more of Jaipur than we had either anticipated or planned. He offered a second day in his tuk tuk and we were very happy to accept. He is a very honest and happy guy, not at all pushy and very eager to please you as his customer. The tuk tuk is authentic and he was able to navigate traffic and alternative routes when needed to avoid sitting in long traffic jams. That was a real bonus actually as some of the places we visited, we saw horrendous jams with people just sitting in cars and vehicles - this never happened with Flower as he worked around them. Would definitely highly recommend him if you find yourself with a want/need to explore Jaipur and its sights but with an informal guide who really knows his stuff. Great day and a half!

My first day meeting Firoj he was my drop off and pick up transportation to the Albert Hall Museum. You will notice right away that he is engaging, a wealth of knowledge about Jaipur and its surroundings, and he speaks excellent English. We talked about some potential sight seeing and experiences for the next few days. I am a traveling artist- and he suggested a visit to a block printing and textile studio. As you navigate the streets Firoj is giving you lots of local lore- so great insights as we wound our way through the Pink City. Watching the actual block printing - I came away totally inspired by the dazzling work. From there we headed to an elephant sanctuary- after discussing some traditional venues, but Firoj suggested the more interesting possibility of meeting some elephants. The elephant experience was touching/humbling —and you get a firsthand look at the life of elephants in a safe haven. Whatever you might be looking for in Jaipur- I am sure Firoj can arrange it for you- and provide you with options that will lead to much more! R. David Wilson

An excellent experience with this guide and driver. We visited the Amber Fort and other local attractions and were allowed to take as much time as we wanted. We also wished to visit a wholesale textile factory which offered first class products at very competitive prices. Our guide was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about all the places we visited. Highly recommended!

Firoj was a blessing for me and my friend. He helped us out when we were having trouble booking an Uber. He showed us around in lovely places that were not part of our plans but for sureeee worth it and better than what we could’ve imagined. He is super kind and nice, and we feel like we definetly have a friend in him now. We always felt safe and had a lot of fun!!! Very recommended 🫶🏼

What I really liked was that, in addition to the usual tourist spots, Firoj took me to places I would'nt have been to alone. So you visit an authentic Jaipur and trully go to the hearth of the indian population .He also introducteur me local crafts . He speaks a good english, he drives carrefully and Firoj is trully very friendly and always ready to help. I recommended him 200%.

Originally got in the tuk tuk as an uber but the lovely driver told us about some different parts of the city and was very knowledgeable so we took a little tour around the city with him. He took us to some local places and helped us find nice shops in Jaipur

We had a lovely day seeing the sights of Jaipur with Firoj. We did a day trip to all the major attractions and everything in between. He was able to take us to anywhere we wanted. His English is very good and he is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a day in Jaipur

Firoj was absolutely formidable! His smile, his patience, his knowledge about Jaipur, and his heart are wonderful things! He gave lot of advices and adapted to improvisation, never forced anything! He bring to Amber Fort, stepwell, to elephant activities, different very good factories for textiles, stones, spices, etc... I fully recommend his tour and his company!

I had a great experience , Flower guide was really nice and explained to me about the city history and took me to muggle city, where they have a really nice factory where they make many types of carpets, the especial or rajastán ones are the wool camel ones... As well they have nice fabrics to make suits and shirts , as other many beatiful things, highly recommended with very reasonable prices

We crossed Firoj's path at the beginning of our day and it was our lucky day. Very forthcoming and polite, Mister India knows every street and every place of the city. He brought us to the Amber Fort, the stepwell, the water palace, and even the Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan which we did not know about but were pleased to visit and all this at a very reasonable price. He was honest about what we should or should not do and visit. He brought us to local shops we would not have known about and wanted to buy from, he did not bring us to the shops we did not want to go to. In the end, a great day with a great man that I highly recommend!

We had an amazing day going through the streets of Jaipur and would highly recommend to anyone. We wanted to see a mix of history and markets and got all of the above seeing the Amber Fort, local jewellery and garment shops. He was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and knew all of the best spots. A great day and well worth the price!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience exploring Jaipur with Firoj as our TukTuk driver and tour guide expert! From start to finish, he was exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble (whether this was adding extra stops, waiting patiently while we explored or made decisions about what to do next or finding the best local spots for shopping/ food etc). Firoj gave us recommendations and tailored the day perfectly to what we wanted to do. He never pushed us toward anything we weren’t interested in and always made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed. He also went above and beyond by coordinating multiple TukTuks for our group so that we could all travel together and arrive at each destination at the same time (which I can imagine was particularly difficult for a group of 11 of us!) Thanks to Firoj and his friends we saw everything we wanted in Jaipur and had an unforgettable time! Thank you so much 🙏

Worth the money, saw alot of places around the city, took nice photos and enjoyed some conversations with the locals the tour guide knew. We visited local stores with unique goods that make for greate souvenirs!

Or trip was really interesting and the driver was so nice, very helpful and willing to talk. We saw the Water Palace, the Wind Palace and Amber Fort and Mughal city with a lot of local businesses like jewellery, paintings and textiles.

Very good expiriance, we visited a lot of the local atractions like the palace on water, amber fort, wind palace, stepwell and more. The driver was very nice to talk to, he understood english well and knew a lot about the city. He showed us amazing local stores in the Mughal city district with traditionaly crafted goods. Jewlery, paintings, clothes etc.

100% recommend Mr India was really nice and made us discover the best parts of Jaipur easily,. We could visit the Abmer Fort and its areas, stepwells, water palace Jal Mahal, textile shop custom tailor, spices, tea, leatherwork shops etc.

Firoj was excellent and the tour exceeded my expectations. He was punctual, patient, kind and had a great sense of humor. His driving was brilliant and I think must be one of the best drivers in Jaipur. Also his local knowledge was second to none and knew all the history. Not only that Firoj was very easy to understand.
