Private Guided Half Day Tour Jaipur

It was perfect. I was on a semi go with the flow type of vacation which means I had rooms and flights but not much else planned otherwise. I woke up and was able to book a half day tour that left out within the next hour. Within that time they were able to confirm a guide and driver AND were waiting in the lobby a few minutes ahead of our scheduled time. Great start. We made it to all of the agreed sites where I learned both the historical context coupled with friendly conversation and always the helpful offer to take a pic (and catching the best angles may I add!). No complaints. The guide and driver were super courteous and always made me feel comfortable. I would definitely book with them again.

Such a wonderful trip with Indra (our guide) and Vinod (our driver). Indra is so knowledgeable of the city’s landmarks and is so passionate about making the tour personal for each trip. We also visited the print making factory/store and purchased cashmere products for a very good price and a spice shop so we can make our own Indian curries at home. Lunch was lovely with a good selection of food options. We had a really great time and thank you Indra and Vinod for making our time in Jaipur so special.

WOW I cannot say enough amazing things about out our half day tour! Our guide, Indra Pratap Singh, was SO knowledgeable and did not rush us at all. He is so friendly and made the tour customizable to us and even took us to a textile factory where we got some custom clothing made. Our driver, Vinod, was very kind and navigated the city with such ease! I cannot recommend this enough!!

We had a fantastic day touring the Amber palace, temples, and the old city. Lunch was delicious and our guide was incredibly accommodating. I needed kurtas for a wedding and he took me to an authentic textile shop where they measured and built me custom outfits within hours. We went over time due to the errands but there was zero stress or pressure. They would have stayed out longer if we wanted to see more. Highly recommend!!

We had a great half day tour with our guide Mr. Inder and our driver. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. He helped us by taking some great pics and videos. We enjoyed our time at Amber palace, elephant village, Hawa mahal. We also had the opportunity to go see block printing in action. Overall a great start to our trip to Jaipur.

We had a good time seeing the main attractions in Jaipur during a one day quick trip. Indra was a very helpful guide who had a lot of knowledge of the sites. Both Indra and Vinod were very flexible in letting us explore and shop based on what we wanted to do.

We had a lovely day with Vinod, he showed us all the beautiful places of Jaipur and some hidden gems where we found beautiful clothes, carpets and jewellery typical from this area. We absolutely loved the recommendations from Vinod and his knowledge about the city! 100% recommend

Was a very insightful tour of key places in Jaipur - Indra was a great guide and very knowledgeable ! However, didn’t love being taken to workshops where it felt like we had to buy something.

The tour was a wonderful experience and our guide Indra was absolutely lovely. He was incredibly patient with us especially considering we had traveled a long journey and needed to fit key sightseeing in between work commitments. Shadow Tours followed up promptly on all communications and ensured every one of our special requests was handled with care. We were taken to a high quality restaurant that was not only delicious but also clean and beautiful. The car was new and comfortable which made the travel seamless. Great tour of the beautiful sites of Jaipur. Our guide was great and was able to get us in everywhere quickly and told us about the history. The driver was also very calm and the car was big and comfortable.

The private city tour provided a great way to see the city's highlights when you have a limited amount of time. Our guide was diligent to ensure we arrived back at our hotel by the requested time and knew several short cuts to avoid long ques at Jal Mahal and Amber Fort. They were also willing to answer questions about the Rajasthan and Hindu culture. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jaipur.

Very informative tour with english speaking guide and good driver. We covered a lot of details. The last stop in a textile printing factory/shop was not interesting for our company.

It was nice to see sheesh mahal and Amer fort. It was not worth spending time for gem stone factory and textile factory. Our guide was good.

The guide Kamran was good. Took us to amber palace and explained us about history. However I must also say the pick up location and transport part was very confusing. Please make sure to arrange your own transport we went to pickup point only to discover we had to book a separate transport from there to Amber palace.

Indra and our driver Vinod were fabulous! We had a blast with them all day touring sites and learning more about the beautiful city of Jaipur. It was an extremely busy time visiting during the holiday season and they did a great job with navigating traffic and the crowds.

Indra (along with driver Vinod) were absolute rockstars. Indra was hilarious all day and also, importantly, great about navigating us through dense crowds and taking pictures. Extremely thankful to have been paired with him and would recommend this tour to anyone.

I definitely recommend this tour. We booked for the half day during the holiday season, so everything was packed and traffic was terrible. Still, we saw everything we were hoping to see! Our guide, Indra, was very knowledgeable about the history of Jaipur and knew how to bypass the big crowds. Our driver, Vinod, was also excellent and provided water and refreshments. If you are looking to get the inside scoop on Jaipur, book this tour!
