Private Elephant Sanctuary

The experience was so cool! Very unique! We spent a long time with a lovely lady elephant named Padma and her loyal caretaker and best friend. We pat her, fed her, walked around with her and gave her a shower. It was really special to be so close to such a kind and intelligent animal. And it was pretty reassuring to see how well cared the elephants are at this sanctuary. The guide answered to all of our questions and let we take our time with her.

The experience was amazing - we got to spend time with one elephant (Padma) at her own pace and in her own environment. It was really nice to see them so calm and we loved how they were not made to accommodate the guests, but rather we had to accommodate to their time and needs. We got to learn a lot about elephants! Javed was really helpful and answered all our questions.

We had an amazing time at Elefantastic with our lovely elephant Massakali and the wonderful caretaker and other staff. Great value for money, with pickup and drop off at our hotel, cold drinks throughout the visit and most importantly a lot of time spent with the elephants, feeding, bathing and walking them. Such a calming place, and you could tell the elephants were very happy living there. Perfect amount of visitors at one time, we will 100% be back again when in India! We had a very special time at Elefantastic. We were very warmly greeted by the staff and were introduced to Chandra, a 29 year old elephant. The caretaker, Aarish, showed us how to interact with Chandra, including feeding, drinking and washing. We chose this organisation to get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures without all the nonsense of painting and riding the elephants that you get at other so called ‘sanctuaries’. This is a proper sanctuary where ethical conservation and welfare is at the centre of this organisation’s work and mission. Altogether an amazing experience. Thank you 🙏

Our experience at Elephantastic yesterday was truly exceptional and one of the most beautiful and meaningful experiences we had in Jaipur! We discovered a place where elephants are genuinely loved, rescued, respected, and always put first. What touched our hearts the most was seeing the incredible love and kindness with which these beautiful animals are treated. You can truly feel that love, and even more amazingly, you can see how the elephants have learned to give that same love back to the people who visit them. We want to congratulate the entire Elephantastic team for the extraordinary work they are doing and for giving us the opportunity to connect with these magnificent animals in such a safe, respectful, and loving environment. Being so close to an elephant and experiencing such a beautiful connection was something we will never forget. If you are visiting Jaipur, Elephantastic is an absolute MUST! "My" elephants name was Shakku. A 3.5 ton of gentleness. I had an amazing day feeding, walking, washing and bonding with my new friend. We ate dinner together; I made chaputi for her snack while I had an excellent vegetarian thali. Her tent was next to mine and I went to bed like a child at Christmas not able to wait for morning breakfast together and the chance to thank her for an amazing experience and say farewell. It didn't happen as scheduled. When I awoke I was told she had already left for a walk and would not be returning. I felt robbed, the romantic morning emotions crushed. Poor ending for a fabulous experience.

My kids totally enjoyed it. I loved the fact that they spent some valuable time with the elephants, loving them, cuddling them, giving them bath rather than just using the elephants for ride

This was our 3rd time back to Elefantastic, each time we have visitors to Jaipur we take them here. The farm is so peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The team are brilliant, we have very young children and they are very well taken care of, great communication and knowledge. There is no rush, you can take as much time as you like to feed, walk and wash them. The first time we visited we stayed for the camping experience and it is well worth it! Highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our time at Elefantastic, with Paduma the elephant and her caretaker Aamir. It's a real joy to spend the time with an elephant, and get to know them and their personality, their food likes and dislikes etc. I've visited anothet elephant sanctuary before, but Elefantastic was different, and better, because there was just the two of us with our elephant and her caretaker. The whole experience is centred around the wellbeing of the elephant, and the elephants are clearly very well cared for. Pick up and drop off back at our hotel was straightforward.

We were picked up and dropped of at the hotel and driven to the Elephant Sanctuary, which was approx 40 mins away. On arrival we were met by very friendly and welcoming staff, who explained the itinerary for our visit. Staff began by telling us about the elephants. We were allocated a specific elephant, who had been rescued from a performing background, and were able to feed and stroke her, before taking her for a walk and helping to bathe her. The whole visit was fantastic and it was amazing to be so close to the Elephants, who are clearly well cared for. We were told about their care and the veterinary support they receive. The staff took lots of photos for us throughout our visit. I would highly recommend this if you are in Jaipur.

Do not hesitate to book with Elephantastic. As others have noted it is a really special experience. Everything was calm and well organised. Our children loved feeding, walking with and washing an elephant. Iqbal was really great with our children too. Great communication and coordination with the organizers too. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to India.

Our visit at the elephant sanctuary Ele Fantastic was one of the best days of my life. We were welcomed with a cold drink and chai and were told about where the elephants were rescued from and how they are taken care of now. We fed them, went for a walk cuddled them and had plenty of opportunity to make photos. Making a physical connection with these wise animals was very humbling and touching.

A wonderful experience for the whole family! We had such a lovely experience at Elefantastic! Everything was incredibly well organised, from the car transfers right through to the activities with the elephants. The whole experience felt calm, relaxed and personal, and we never felt rushed at any point. The staff were absolutely lovely, especially with our two young children. They were so patient, friendly and welcoming, making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves. It was a really special and memorable experience for our family, and we would highly recommend Elefantastic to anyone visiting Jaipur, especially those travelling with young children!

We booked last minute due to a change of itinerary- they were so helpful in accommodating us. What an experience, Padma, our elephant amazing, and it was just incredible to be up close with these incredible animals in such a peaceful and loving environment. A visit here takes you completely away from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur- it’s a calm oasis inhabited by the gentle giants, Asian elephants. We were assigned to Pumba and her handler who showed us how to feed her while she stood calmly , taking us both in with her amber coloured eyes. After continuously feeding her for a while we took a walk with her around the village- slow but steady, the handler encouraging her to keep going and avoid too many distractions. Back at the sanctuary’s garden it was time to shower Pumba and give her a massage. She loved the water and showered us with her trunk for fun! We spent a couple of hours with her- the staff answered our questions and were hospitable. All in all a great experience.

I celebrated my birthday there, and they were so welcoming and kind! It was so much fun, and the elephants were really taking cared of.

When I arrived in Jaipur, I wanted to have this experience. I did some research and eventually found it here. It was a wonderful way to spend my time; my guide was attentive, friendly, and kind—and even though their English wasn't great, they were still incredibly helpful. If you come here, you should definitely try this experience!

We had an amazing experience at the Elefantastic sanctuary, with Sohail being our caretaker, providing us with valuable knowledge on their elephants and how they look after them. We were able to feed, stroke, wash and take Padma, one of their elephants, on a walk, which gave us an insight into the level of care that goes into taking care of the elephants at the sanctuary. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jaipur!

My husband and I went to Elefantastic on our first trip to India. We had an amazing experience! Salman was wonderful in answering our questions & explaining what they do at the sanctuary. We shared the experience with the tour group we went with, so hopefully they will collaborate in the future & bring this great experience to many more!

Our whole experience today was magical and exceeded all expectations. We felt privileged to spend time with a beautiful elephant called Padma and her fantastic caretaker Srk. The treatment of the elephants here is wonderful and entirely ethical. After feeding, walking with and bathing the elephant we then visited the family home of the founder and enjoyed a beautiful lunch of homemade Indian cuisine cooked by his mother. To leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city and feel the calm and peace upon arrival is a great start. The smile upon seeing the beautiful creature who we were to spend time with as she calmly ate her breakfast was our joy. Rani entranced my daughter and I with her peaceful and obvious joy at her wonderful life. She looked upon us with eyes that showed how well she was cared for. It was a treat to feed her, walk with her and bathe her but no doubt the thing we will take away is the new life she deserves away from the hardship of commercial exploitation. Thank you for the experience once again, after my first visit in 2016 I couldn’t be happier to share this with my daughter.

We went to both Elefantastic and also used them to book hotels and a private driver for our time in India. Elefantastic was a wonderful experience and you can tell how much they care for the animals welfare. Arjun is extremely responsive to all questions about Elefantastic, as well as booking a driver and hotels. I found their pricing to be fair and transparent. We had Pappu Ji as our driver for over a week, covering Delhi to Jaipur and back. Pappu Ji was always very punctual, polite, respectful of our wishes and a very safe and experienced driver which reassured us enormously. Pappu Ji's experience really showed as he knew huge amounts about Rajastan! Elefantastic experience covered feeding Durga the elephant, taking her for a walk and giving her a shower. Durga was so friendly and gentle, a true gentle giant. Overall I would highly recommend using Elefantastic for both the elephant experience and any other travel needs in Rajastan.

What a wonderful morning! It is certainly the highlight of our India trip so far. Rani is such a beautiful elephant and we really loved spending time with her and Javir. We would highly recommend this to everyone and anyone - and absolute delight. Thank you so much!

Wow! What a very, very fun experience! This experience came at the end of our almost 3 weeks in India, and we weren’t overly excited as we looked forward to it. It turned out to be one of our best days. It was so much fun getting to know our elephant and enjoying the lunch afterwards.! it will certainly go down as one of our top India experiences

We had an amazing afternoon. The elefants seems like they have a very good life there. There is absolutely no rush and pleanty of time to form a bond with the animal and to feel comfortable in the interaction.

We booked last minute on the recommendation of a fellow guest and so glad we did. It was incredible to be so close up to the magnificent Druga. Her handler Ansar made us feel very safe to interact and feed her. After a short walk we then helped bathe, scrub and clean her. A once in a lifetime experience for us. So heartwarming to hear the great work the Sanctuary do to care for these wonderful creatures. Complimentary hotel pickup and drop off was also provided.

We had an amazing experience at Elefantastic! We were there with our 2 kids aged 7 and 4 and they had a great time. The elephants are well taken care of, the atmosphere is very calm and friendly and you can tell the elephants are happy to welcome us. There are only a few visitors who come at once so the atmosphere is very relaxed. Our care taker Salman was very nice and explained everything. Definitely worth the visit

Wow! Wow! WOW!!! This will go down as the best day in our lives and I very much doubt anything will beat it. We were picked up by Parvin bang on time and the car was immaculate and the service too. Parvin is a driver who works with Elefantastic. We arrived to a totally private experience - just us. Absolutely no other guests around - and this is by design. It felt incredibly exclusive. We were met by “our” elephant Durga. She was just delightful. Dabu was our guide and Ansar was Durga’s handler and best friend. Dabu and Ansar were exceptional. The love and care they showed Durga was heart warming. They were also extremely kind to us. We loved the way they knew all 24 elephants in their care and could describe their character - some cheeky, some impatient and some like Durga - chilled in the extreme! She was an absolute cutie and loved being loved and told how beautiful she is. We fed her, walked with her, washed her and got pretty washed by her!! It was pure unadulterated JOY. You simply must come here. The name may seem a bit theme parky - it is indeed fantastic but overall I would describe it more as elegant. Deeply elegant. Incredible! We came as a family of 4 with kids aged 4 and 7 and we were all mesmerised! The driver picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back again. Our guide, Ansar, introduced us to the beautiful Durga, a 36 year old female elephant. We fed her cucumbers, and sugarcane and the kids loved spending time with her and learning about how they care for the elephants. Getting to be so close to the elephant was amazing and to see how dexterous their trunks are! We then went for a short walk with her and then helped to give her a wash and scrub. A truly special experience that we will never forget!

Wow, just wow. What a truly remarkable experience. Being up close feeding a rescued elephant; then getting to walk her with the handler and finally giving her a bath. Yes we got absolutely soaking wet but it was more than worth it. Thank you to Druga’s handler and best friend Ansar for letting us spend an amazing time with him and Druga.

Amazing family experience and unforgettable memories. Spending 2 hours with an elephant in his own habitat has been absolutely delightful. We feared to have a touristic experience, and/or to find uncomfortable conditions for the elephant. We got very positively surprised: private session with the elephant, supervised by a crew of amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff (kudos to Ansar the care taker!!) who are also excellent photographer and video makers! The elephant is perfectly at ease, ready to be fed, washed, walked and hugged exactly like a home pet. No riding, beating, forcing the animal to do unnatural stuff. Very well done to Elefantastic for a natural and genuine experience. Highly recommended for families and people interested to learn more about elephants, spending some quality time with them and making memories that will be kept in your heart forever.

It was an incredible experience, the driver pick up me on time and take me to the sanctuary, where we feed the elephabt, walk with her and wash her, it was so fun and magical, mukesh the caretaker was very kind with me and all the team also, i would definitively come back, its a place where that really love and respect elephants

An ethical, beautiful time with an amazing group of people and the elephants they care for and love. I stayed for two hours and I was looked after really well with various refreshments supplied. I was also picked up and dropped off at my hotel.

Absolutely magical experience meeting an elephant, Padna, at Elefantastic. The sanctuary don’t allow unethical treatment of the elephants, unlike other sanctuaries. The taxi pick up and drop off was very smooth. Our driver was friendly and informative. I would 100% recommend and want to go again already. Rahul, the manager, communicated and helped us with all our questions and every step. I hope to see them again soon.

My experience at Elefantastic was honestly one of the most beautiful, heartwarming and memorable experiences of my Jaipur trip! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was absolutely perfect, the hospitality, the people, the care and, of course, the beautiful elephants. ❤️ A very special mention to our gorgeous Padmavati 🐘❤️ she was SO cute, gentle, calm and absolutely adorable! We felt completely safe and comfortable around her throughout. Spending time with her, feeding her and interacting with her was such a beautiful experience. She completely stole my heart! We went here as a family after a recommendation and were not disappointed. Booking and adminstration was clear and straightforward. Good communication via WA. We had a fantastic time with Soyab and Vicky, from feeding, walking and washing the elephant. The children particularly enjoyed washing the elephant it was like a waterfight!! The care Soyab showed elephant and the relationship they had was evident. Would highly recommend

The experience started with the amazing driver who was friendly, funny, and offered helpful advice. We hung out with Padmaa the elephant and fed her, walked with her, and witnessed her mud bath. The highlight of the experience was hosing her off and scrubbing her while she threw water on us (be prepared to get wet, but it’s lovely in the heat). I wish I could remember everyone we interacted with by name because the staff was really great. Shout out to all of them and to the driver, Mr. Parveen.

The experience was amazing! The staff is super friendly and kind, aswering all your questions. What they do is beautiful, because you can notice the really respect the elephants.It was a life time experience. You can feed the elephants, walk with them and finally give them a shower, was super fun!! If you are in Jaipur, this is a must visit place.

I went there with 2 toddlers - 2 and 5 yo. Overall the experience was very professional, clean and well organised.driver was available for the pick-up before time. The vehicle was spic and span and very well maintained. Driver - Mr. Parveen was very courteous and helpful. He was very calm with my over excited and messy toddlers. It was fun interacting with him. Once at the venue we were greeted by Mr. Dabbu who welcomed us with drinks - hot and cold. He also briefed us about every details. He was eager to answer all our questions. He made sure the young toddlers are comfortable with the elephant. The mahavats - Mr. Soyab was also very calm and helpful. My son was never nervous - which was mostly because Dabbu and Soyab made sure here are no surprises. From feeding to he walk and bath all the activities were very well organised. Kids thoroughly loved it. These were definitely the memories they'll cherish for the rest of their lives. The bathrooms were basic but neat and tidy - something not very common unfortunately. At no point in time did we feel rushed. Kids had moist eyes towards the end of the tour. Also Mr. Dabbu made sure we did not feel the heat of the day (36degrees C) by keeping us under umbrella and shaded regions. Overall 10/5 to everyone involved in making this experience a memorable one.

Very special experience with Padma, a beautiful 36 years old female elephant. Well organized and pickup in time and effective. Dani Shoep and Mukesh are the team that supported us and guided us in interactions with Padma. They were kind and prepared. We fed Padma, walked with her and washed and scrubbed! No painting. Cold and hot beverages always offered and available. We recommend the experience and Elephantastic place.

We had the most wonderful experience at Elefantastic Private Elephant Sanctuary. The welcome we received at the Elefantastic office was very friendly, before going to the Private Sanctuary and being greeted by Rahul, and then we began our session with Shakku, the elephant. She was such a beautiful animal, and clearly well looked after. The experience included: feeding, walking, bathing, stroking the elephants. The facilities were well maintained, and clean. We had the two hour experience.

This is an unforgettable experience. These beautiful creatures are treated with the up most care and attention. The fee is well worth it as you are supporting safe and ethical practice of animals that eat 200kg of food a day. The length of the experience was perfect and left us feeling like we had genuinely connected with Padma. Caretaker Soyab and Guide Dabbu created a great atmosphere for the elephants and for us and the limited number of visitors allowed for a really intimate setting. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't enjoy this. Be prepared to cry laughing as an elephant sprays you with water!
