Jhalana Panther Safari Park Tour In Jaipur

A really fun and exciting experience, very worth doing with in Jaipur. We spotted a leopard!

The leopard safari was very well organised and the guide went out of the way to ensure we got some good Leopard sighting. They also organised pickup and drop from hotel at good rates.

Skip this Park, when you are going to Ranthambore. There is not much to see compared to Ranthambore. There was no guide, just a driver in the park. And the pick-up price is hilarious.

We couldn’t believe the poor quality of the experience. We did not see a leopard but that would not have mattered if we had a proactive guide and good transport. Our guide (Lokesh) barely spoke or pointed things out. If we asked a question he would answer briefly. We spotted animals and birds but he did not point them out to us. The vehicle should not have been on the road. Old, constantly making a loud whinny noise, torn seats. And Lokesh had the gall to say it was a new vehicle when we commented! The driver was on his phone and nearly ran into an oncoming vehicle. Please don’t waste your time or money. Go to Ranthambore to get a professional experience.

Safari trips require luck and leopards require a lot of luck. But good management can help and we were lucky with the quality of our guide (Lokesh Yadash) and driver ( Aakash). We heard roars between a male and female leopard and were v unlucky to miss the male leopard as he crossed as we were looking for the female. We were patient and continued to hear roaring but were unable to find the male leopard. We then continued the Safari and were lucky to run into Rana on his way for a drink of water. We then spent an hour with the leopard as it drank water, wandered around and climbed an observation tower. It was an amazing encounter and one which we will never forget. It was an early morning start but the effort was well rewarded and you finish by 9am and can still do a full day of activities.

Our naturalist Bhupendra Pareta from World of Wilders was an absolute gem spotting birds from 50 meters away and interpreting every call and pugmark with unmatched expertise his passion and knowledge brought the forest alive for us we returned not only with memories but with a much deeper love for wildlife and a commitment to visit back.

The tour started of with us being picked from our hotel in an open air jeep which was okay untill it started raining. The safari was okay. We did not see any leopards but that is not too surprising due to it being the monsoons. We did see some birds and antelopes. My main issues were with the guide not knowing enough English for more than 1-2 words the name of the birds and a line about it. I would have given this 4 stars regardless but what dropped it further was not having a vehicle with a covered roof for the trip to the safari area and back. It makes no sense during the moonsoon months. Even with umbrellas (that we brought from home) we were completely soaked (as well as money in our wallets) due to the rains. Unfortunately there does not appear to be another way to see the area. I would recommend getting a hotel car to pick abs drop you off.

Shobhit was a good guide. Easy to connect with the company on morning of the tour. Have four kids and they loved it. Seeing the leopard was awesome.

The guide was very knowledgeable and we did see a sleeping leopard in zone 1 first thing in the morning. We also saw a few owls, and other wildlife. The communication, pick up and drop off was excellent.

First of all Kudos to Kunal ji and his team for making this trip absolute hassel free and wonderful. My family loved it. Despite being jaipur based, once we reached inside, we did not feel as it is jaipur itself. Amazing views and beautiful memories we captured. Loved it ! I was happy to see a wild leopard. And especially lucky to see it eating a dead deer. The park itself is a little underwhelming and commercialized for my liking

2 hours drive without seeing much animals and no leopard, landscape is so so. Tour guide doesnt speak English although tour description mentioned English speaking guide. Waste of time and money.

Going to the park was a great experience. Even though we did not spot a leopard, we all enjoyed the safari, nature, and other animal sightings. The excursion was not as advertised though - not a private tour and no real English speaking guide. But alas a good experience overall.

This was so much fun, we loved going in the jeeps. The guide and driver were great, very knowledgeable. We did not see a leopard but it certainly was not from lack of trying from the guide and driver, they went out of their way trying to find one for us. We did say lots of other animals. Would definitely recommend.

Since it is a nature safari and the leopards are wandering free, we did not get to see any leopards during this visit. We do know that the morning tour did see a couple of them though. The tour guide did try his hardest to try to have us see some, but no luck. He tried for 2.5 hours. We had a lot of fun though and saw plenty of animals.

The driver was amazing and pointed out animals for us. Another car had spotted a panther and our driver zoomed us there so that we could see it too! Very grateful!

It was amazing experience, the set of drivers and guides they have is the best. Have been booking regularly with them and they are always prompt and do exactly that you ask for.

Our guide really knew about the animals and birds and made sure we had enough time to study them and take photos. Unfortunately we didn’t see a leopard but that’s because it’s difficult this time of year. Hence I rated a 4 otherwise it would have been a 5.

The park is easy to access. We reached inside the forest in just 15minutes from our hotel. The vehicles owned by them are good and confortable. We saw one leopard trying to kill a squirrel, a Rare and elusive animal called Striped Hyena......both a lifer for me. Thanks to our Guide Sourabh and Driver ji Ganesh the oldest driver here and knows the park by the inch.

Took a guided tour with world of wilders and had a wonderful time from reservations to pick up drop from Hotel and Safari experience. On WhatsApp. The knowledge our Guide Sourabh Saini had was immense. He showed us some very colorful birds, monitor lizard, foxs and offcourse the main attraction the Leopards. We were the ones to actually track and spot the leopard unbelievably on a squirrel alarm call......at first I thought it was fake but actually a leopard moved out of nowhere in 30 minutes of patiently waiting and then our guide called other vehicles also. I cannot forget my experience in the safari as it was simply memorable !! It is not easy to see a leopard in Jhalana but if you are lucky and have the below numbers then surely you would see one. The whole experience is fantastic. Lots of animals to see and seeing a Leopard was something to behold. The guide and driver were great showing us all the wildlife as well as alerting us to the alarm calls that animals use when there is a threat nearby. Well worth the visit.

The safari was exactly what we looked for. We visited park end of June 2024, just couple days after first rains. The forest become fresh green and full of life. For us as a foring tourist was very interesting to explore the local nature. Our guide has shown us lot of birds, some foxes, rabbit and of course the leopard. First we were picked up. You have to pay attention, pick up is in 8km area from park. After we started to drive around the park zones and to look for leopard. On the way the guide showed us some spieces as dessert fox, rabbit and some birds. All cars in the park are in connection, so if somebody saw the big cat, everybody come to that place. I think, it is quite hard not to see a leopard at least from big distance. If you wanna see it close, you should have a luck. After Safari the driver brought us to the pickup location. On the next day we got some photos and videos from the guide in perfect quality with the leopard.

We had an amazing sighting of 3 leopards, all credit to World Of Wilders. Inspite of heavy showers during part of our Safari, our experience was too good to be penned down. It makes all the difference to go through seasoned operators like WoW.

Greatest Big Cat Safari Had booked with World of Wilders for my June travel to the pink city.....everything was in order as mentioned from their whatsapp number. On our drive we saw 2 leopards and lots of other wild animals. The guide was a master of jungle and could talk about everything we asked....this added to our experience. Would highly recommend booking their guided tours in Jaipur and Ranthambore.

We had leopard sighting in two out of three safaris.Both times at a close distance. Jeeps were clean and in good condition .

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was an encyclopaedia of information. We were blessed to see two leopards as well as many rare birds and animals. A truly magical experience and I highly recommend going on this trip .

We had the most exciting time! The scenery was beautiful and weather was perfect and fresh! You could hear the sounds from all the animals. We saw many exotic birds. I did the afternoon tour in a gypsy jeep vehicle with a driver and four other passengers. For the first couple of hours, the leopards were elusive and we only saw deer, antelope and a variety of birds, including peacocks. However, we lucked out and ended up seeing four panthers - two close up - in the last half hour. Everything was very professionally managed, including pickup and drop off. Although there are no guarantees about seeing leopards, it’s worth it because the reward of spotting one is priceless!
