The cooking class with Swati was a fantastic experience. We learned a lot and cooked 2 dishes + sides and masala chai. She and her family were incredibly hospitable. Best Paneer we've ever had!

We took cooking classes at Swati’s home and learnt so many Indian food secrets. She was so sweet from the beginning and we cooked everything we loved! She was very patient and gave us all the knowledge and the food turned out to be so delicious and the right amount of spicy! (I don’t eat too spicy) They also gave us a jalebi as a desert and it was so tasty! I loved the experience and we suggest it to everyone :)
This was the best experience we had. We went as we had a spare couple of hours and it was superb. We made 3 vegetarian dishes, chapatti and rice. We had all ingredients explained and lots of other ways to use the same basic recipe were suggested. We ate a huge amount of delicious food afterwards. Leftovers can be wrapped to take away but we couldn’t do that, so fed the neighbours. The couple running it, Bunty and Mukuk, were friendly, informative and helpful. This was a wonderful experience and well worth booking. They provide aprons, water to drink. Scrupulous hygiene standards and all fresh food.
Our cooking class with Swati was simply amazing! We enjoyed it so much that we actually came back for the breakfast class (highly recommended!) a couple of days later. We were warmly welcomed, got to choose what we wanted to cook and most importantly learned a lot. I‘m very excited to test the recipes at home and feel like this course gave a solid foundation for trying :) thank you so much to Swati and the whole family!!
We had an amazing time learning how to cook Indian food with Swati and her family at her home in Jaipur. This was undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable experiences of our trip. We were made to feel so welcome in Swati’s home and the food which we made was delicious. She was also kind enough to send us the recipes afterwards, which was a really nice touch. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough if you find yourself in Jaipur and looking for a food-related activity.
I had an amazing experience with this cooking class, highly recommend booking it. I did it solo and was welcomed into her home with greatest hospitality. I learnt so much in one lesson. The food was delicious and so fresh. Definitely recommend booking!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful experience! A fantastic and authentic Jaipur cooking class. Swati and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming. We learned to cook delicious traditional Indian dishes and enjoyed a lovely meal together. A fun, personal experience that we highly recommend!
Doing the cooking class with Swati and her family was such a heartwarming experience. I learned a lot and had so much fun - can‘t wait to try the recipes at home!! And honestly I really felt like being part of the family. Such welcoming, open-minded and lovely people! I can highly recommend the course to anyone visiting Jaipur! Thank you for having me 🙏🏻
Booking with Swati was seamless - she replied almost instantly to our request. From the moment we arrived, her family welcomed us like old friends. Swati customized the lesson to what we wanted to learn, patiently answering all our questions and explaining every step clearly. Beyond cooking, we loved sitting together, sharing stories, and talking about life. The food was deeply comforting, full of flavor and delicious. She even sent us the recipes afterward so we could recreate the dishes. A truly special, fun experience with delicious food and great conversation. Highly recommended in Jaipur!
I had an excellent cooking class with Swati! This is how it went: A few days ahead of the class, Swati contacted me and asked what dishes I’d like to cook. I could choose the ones I’ve always wanted to learn, which was great. Swati only cooks vegetarian dishes, which works well for me. Her home is located very centrally in pink city and I took a Tuk Tuk to get to her place. It was easy to find, because she shared her Google Maps location with me via What’s App. Upon arrival, Swati’s father-in-law picked me up and guided me to Swati’s home. When I arrived at her home, I received a bottle of water as refreshment and Swati and I had a really nice chat to get to know each other. Swati then guided me to her kitchen and showed me how to cook chai tea, which tasted delicious. After finishing the tea, we started cooking three different dishes. I picked a lentil dish (Dal), a curry with cauliflower and potato (Aloo Gobi) and a vegetable Biryani. Swati also made three different types of bread. Swati showed me some really good cooking tricks, and it was a great pleasure to cook myself and also observe her doing it., taking many pictures After all dishes were made, I got to enjoy the tasty meal, along with Swati’s daughter, who came from school after we started cooking. All dishes tasted excellent! But I have to say that the Aloo Gobi was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. I was initially concerned about whether the food will be safe (e.g. regarding hygiene), but when I saw Swati cooking, I had no concern. The kitchen was very clean and she always used purified water for cooking. Since I was doing the cooking class by myself, and there was no one else attending the class, Swati made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Her English is excellent. After I finished eating, Swati organized a Tuk Tuk for me, which took me back to the hotel. A couple of hours later what he shared all the recipes via WhatsApp. I am very happy that I got to experience this class. Not only did I learn a lot about Indian cooking, but I loved this very authentic experience that other tourists might not experience. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend this experience. Swati was kind and accomodating and took our request for dishes we wanted to learn. Her family was so warm and welcoming. You will make a lot of food, it will be good and you will have the recipes sent to you to try at home.
Thank you for the wonderful evening with your family. Swati took the time to find out what dishes and flavors we like and then came up with the dishes we would help make. The food was delicious and getting to experience it in their home was special.
We visited Swati and her family at their home and had a wonderful, exciting, and delicious evening. The cooking class was so much fun! Swati speaks excellent English, and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
I had such a wonderful experience with Swati! I felt super comfortable with her from the very beginning, and cooking together felt so natural and enjoyable. She made me feel right at home, and I truly felt comfortable and at ease throughout the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend her!
Amazing experience! The family was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and I loved learning how to cook authentic Indian dishes. Such a fun and memorable experience—I’d highly recommend it!
Incredible experience! We were welcomed by this lovely family. The food was fantastic as well as the tea and we enjoyed every bit of it. Would recommend to all visiting Jaipur.
We had a fantastic time in with Swati and her family. They are such lovely people who made every effort to share their culture and food with us in a most hospitable way. She was so kind and patient with us, and Swati and her mother made absolutely delicious food for us. We will definitely go again in the future. Best experience we've had in Jaipur so far - I can't recommend it enough.
Our best activity in India ! We were safely picked up and escorted to the family home and welcomed . The class is with the mother of the family but they all were very friendly and sweet ! We got to choose which kind of foods we were going to make then shown how to do it and got to make our own ! Also explained about spices and how they make their own blends etc . Sat down to eat and served which was really sweet , easy to talk to very comfortable and clean safe feeling activity . Nice to have a feel of a genuine Indian family welcoming us into their home . The dad then made sure we got home safely by walking us to a pick up spot and waiting until we was in th e uber . Cannot recommend enough
The Indian food was incredibly delicious. I learned so much about Indian spices, and it was a wonderful experience. The hospitality was exceptional, and I had a truly enjoyable time!
We were welcomed into Swati's home and given options on what suited us for cooking. My daughter and I made various choices and we thoroughly enjoyed getting hints and tips about what to use and why something was done a certain way. We produced an array of dishes and they were all delicious. We also got sent the recipes, can't wait to try at home!!
Had an absolutely amazing time with Swati and her family. We were so grateful she was able to accommodate our very last minute booking while still having the ability to fully customize our menu for the evening. We helped make multiple dishes with fresh and homemade ingredients, learned about their daily lives and the thought behind each dish, laughed with her husband and mother-in-law, and ate a whole vegetarian thali. We loved getting to spend time with a local family in their very clean and cozy home. We're so excited to take home some recipes and tips to try at home. Would highly recommend!
Swati and her family are exceptional hosts. We had a really fantastic time. Wonderful hospitality. Firstly, we appreciated the flexibility of Swati and her family as we arrived one hour late after some train delays and issues finding our hotel. Swati was very accommodating to this which we appreciated. We enjoyed a cooking class of three curries, rice, as well as three different types of breads. All ingredients were fresh and amazing quality. This was honestly a really great experience.
Absolutely amazing host who taught us how to make some amazing Indian food. Highly recommend!
One of the best experiences, visiting a lovely Indian family with three generations under one roof, learned great cooking skills and had amazing food
We had an absolutely amazing time at this cooking class in Jaipur – truly the highlight of our trip to India! From the moment we arrived, the family welcomed us so warmly into their home and made us feel like part of the family. It was not just a cooking class, but a beautiful insight into real local life. We cooked delicious dishes like chickpeas, dal, different breads, and a fantastic dessert. Everything tasted incredible, and the homemade chai at the beginning was a perfect touch. Such a kind and lovely family – we felt so comfortable the entire time. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jaipur!
We asked for authentic Indian cookery , and that's exactly what we got plus: Welcome Warmth Hospitality Family Fresh ingredients Full explnation with demonstration, then ate what we had cooked afterwards, in a very genial relaxed environment. Swati's English is perfect. Worth every penny. 12.04.26
We had a wonderful experience here with you and your family! From arrival, we were greeted warmly with a drink and given time to settle. Then we moved to the kitchen to experience an authentic Indian meal being prepared - it was delicious! A truly one of a kind experience. Don’t hesitate to book!
Had a great time learning about cooking traditions Indian food with Swati . The lesson takes place in the family home with her family around so a very authentic experience. Made a potato and cauliflower curry , a dal tadka lentil curry , chapatis , tea and keema rice . You get to eat your meal afterwards which was delicious !!!! Highly Recommended A+++++
Great Indian cooking experience. We learned a lot about spices and Indian cooking and had fun with Swati and her lovely family. Highly recommended for everyone who likes Indian food and wants to know how to cook it.
I had a great time doing the cooking class with Swati, learning to make classic Indian dishes including masala chai, daal and paratha. She was a lovely and attentive host, very communicative from the moment of booking. She and her family were very welcoming, it was really heartwarming to be around such a kind group of people! They all went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Swati and her father even helped make sure I could find the location and get back afterwards. This is a great experience for anyone looking for something memorable and different from the usual tourist activities. Of course you get to eat the food after which is all delicious and she sends you home with the recipes and a small parting gift. I had a great time. If you're looking for a really local experience, book a session with Swati!
Swati and her family were very welcoming - my class started off with making masala chai - hand grinding the ginger and spices followed by preparation of Daal Tadka, Gatta, Cumin rice and three types of roti! All explained in great detail and recipes provided at the end. If you have something specific in mind Swati will accommodate if vegetarian. Highly recommend Swat’ s cooking experience.
We had an amazing time with Swati and some of her family. They were all so accommodating and were great people to spend time with and get to know. We learnt how to make Rajasthani dishes, masala chai and chapati/ paratha. Also learning handy general tips along the way. The food was incredible, being the best food on our trip. Would highly recommend!!
My family and I have been travelling in India for almost a week and this has been the best experience we have had so far! Swati and her family were so inviting and fun to cook with. We learnt about cooking regional Rajistani dishes and lots of useful cooking tips. Thank you to Swati and her family for a wonderful morning <3
We had a wonderful evening with Swati's family. We learned a lot about Indian cuisine and its spices. If you're looking for an authentic cooking class in a warm, family-friendly setting, then you've come to the right place. Thank you so much.
Work as a chef in London and was sooo impressed with Swati’s class it was such lovely experience. Super professional and hospitable. She treated us to a brilliant and informative vegetarian cooking class. We made masala chai, three types of gorgeous Chapati, biriani, dal tadka and the most delicious chickpea flower dumplings. Getting to cook in swati’s beautiful home (and immaculate kitchen) surrounded by her lovely family was the highlight of the trip and I will keep these recipes for ever. Loved to see how nothing was wasted and she made everything from scratch, even gee and yoghurt!
What an amazing experience with a really lovely family. We loved the welcome from the whole family and really enjoyed watching a very good home cook prepare an amazing meal from all homemade ingredients, all the while showing us each step. The difference in taste from a restaurant cooked meal is stunning. We loved all of it, thank you so much.
What a wonderful time with Swati and her family! The cooking instructions was clear, relatable and especially informative. spending time in Swati's kitchen taught me so much. The smells and sights were enchanting and using particular utensils was valuable. Best of all, the end results were delicious! We cooked Aloo Gobi, Dal Palak along with Paratha & Rice. Thankyou Swati & I hope to see you all again.
I learned how to make many Indian dishes in this class, including chapati, masala chai, and Indian spiced lentils. Watching the chapati puff up was especially amazing and memorable! The whole family welcomed me so warmly, and I had a really wonderful time.
Swati welcomed us into her home for a cooking class… but what we experienced was so much more than just a culinary lesson. It was a true family moment, a warm and heartfelt experience where we instantly felt at home. Swati is both passionate and captivating. She shares her knowledge with incredible generosity, taking the time to explain every ingredient, every technique, every method she has mastered so beautifully. Beyond being absolutely delicious, the food was deeply sincere, each dish was prepared with love, and you could truly taste it in every bite. This experience touched us even more because we were there during Holi. We had the privilege of celebrating this special festival with her and her family a vibrant, colorful moment filled with laughter, connection, and genuine emotion. It was pure joy. We left with our hearts even fuller than when we arrived, feeling grateful for such a meaningful and human experience. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for a cooking class… but especially if you want to meet truly kind, inspiring, and beautiful souls. Thank you again swati ❤️
We spend Holy with Swati and all her family. We cook also and learnt a lot about Indian culture and food. The experience was fantastic. We just reserved for a simple cooking class but it was 10000% better that we expected. We could discuss with everyone. Have a good speak with all the family. And Swati introduce us to the celebration of holy with her family No words to describe how we are so happy to have shared a moment like this. I give you a lot strength for your recent business. You deserve that it works a lot. A big Hug from France 🇫🇷 and thank you a lot Pov : A big kiss to mama 🌹
We went to Swati house. She and her family was so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed the experience. It is an accessible activity where you will learn how to cook indian meals and be immersed in a lovely indian family. I loved the massala tea, I will try to do it back at home. We went with our two children who find company with her children of same age. Our kids also tried to do their own chapati. We recommend this activity. Thank you for this moment Swati! Catherine, Charles and Family
We had such a lovely experience in the cooking class! Swati and her family were wonderful hosts, they fed us very well and clearly explained what we were cooking and how to do it. And of course, the food was really excellent, we left with full stomachs!
Swati and her family are so lovely, welcoming and hospitable. They all obviously enjoy meeting new people and sharing. Swati can certainly cook and reveals some of the mysteries of Indian cooking, explaining it well, performing it so easily and giving one the confidence to attempt to replicate it at home. After the effortless demonstration (with a little of our help), comes the best bit - eating the creation, and it was fabulous, the dhal was as good as I've ever eaten and only cooked from scratch in a few short minutes. If you enjoy food, you really need to do this.
It had been a long time since something moved me and touched my heart in such a special little place. I went for a cooking class, but what I learned the most about was affection, warmth, simplicity, humility, and love. I could see the sparkle in the eyes of each member of this family, and I felt like I was truly part of it in a genuine, natural, and light way. We were simply together, and the value of everything was right there, being together around the kitchen, some sitting on the floor, others standing, the children running through the house… each in their own way, but all there with us. Not out of obligation, but from a real desire to be there. I saw the genuine willingness of each person to share what their life was like. It had been a long time since I had felt so welcome in a place. Thank you to the whole family! 💛
My strong recommendation to book this experience with Swati and her family! After a very warm welcome at their home (and a delicious chai!) we had the chance to decide on the dish we wanted to cook (Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala). Swati is a really experienced chef who quite patiently explained every single step and answered all our questions. If you like to cook (and even if you don’t like it yet!) this is an authentic and friendly experience, I would highly recommend. The class took approximately 3 hours. Go try it!
Fantastic experience with Swarti and her lovely family. The food we cooked was delicious and plentiful and Swarti presented everything in such a simple way that I am confident I will be able to reproduce the meals at home. Definitely a worthwhile experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Most amazing cooking class I ever had! Learning from a local with a warm and welcoming family was the best. Thank you Swati for sharing your knowledge with us 🙏🏼
Incredibly friendly people with great hospitality and flexibility. As we were asking for special dishes, the hosts did very easily adjust to cook the according meals and the taste was amazing. Also explanations and english was great, so a lot of stuff to learn. Can very much recommend trying the class if you want to learn more about food/cooking or also some more insights into local family life.
Had a really great experience!
Very much enjoyed my evening learning how to cook many traditional indian dishes with Dimple and Bunty. Instructions kept information simple and easy to follow, with added information on the health benefits of all the herbs and spices, more than just ‘A cooking lesson ‘ Amazing expertise from both of them, and we all devoured our homemade Indian food. Cannot recommend this enough. Very welcoming, friendly and went that extra mile.
