We had a brilliant time with Vivek going around the most beautiful monuments in Jaipur. He perfectly balanced giving us our own time and sharing his immense knowledge about the places. His love of heritage and art history was especially fascinating. The day was totally relaxing and immersive - one of the highlights of our trip to India. It felt like going around Jaipur with a friend. At the end of the day we wanted to buy some gifts to take home and Vivek knew all the best places and took the time to take us and make sure we were looked after. He even showed us a brilliant sunset spot at the end of the day which was our privilege to share with him. Thank you Vivek for the best tour and for showing us our (now) favourite city in India!

Hawa Mahal, is an iconic architectural marvel and a prominent tourist attraction in the city. Also known as the "Palace of Winds," it was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the ruler of Jaipur. The mahal was designed by Lal Chand Usta, an architect in the court of the Maharaja. Designed in the Rajput architectural style and is made of pink sandstone. The purpose behind the construction of Hawa Mahal was to provide a grandstand view for the royal ladies of the court to observe everyday life and processions on the bustling streets below without being seen themselves, as they followed strict purdah (veiling) customs. The design of Hawa Mahal is inspired by the crown of Lord Krishna. The windows not only allowed a gentle flow of air through the palace, keeping it cool during the scorching summer months, the interior of the Hawa Mahal is relatively simple, with a series of chambers and passages that were once used by the royal family.
"Panna Meena Ka Kund" is a stepwell also known as "baoris" or "vavs," are ancient water storage systems that were not only utilitarian but also served as gathering places and architectural wonders. It consists of crisscrossing staircases that descend several levels into the ground, creating an elaborate pattern of steps. Water Source: Panna Meena Ka Kund was primarily built to harvest and store rainwater. During the monsoon season, the stepwell would collect rainwater, providing a reliable source of water for the local community throughout the year. Cultural significance: Panna Meena Ka Kund not only served as a water storage facility but also acted as a social gathering place for the local community. In the past, women would gather here to collect water and engage in social interactions.

The fort is perched on a hilltop, providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and the nearby Maota Lake. It is one of the most popular and well-preserved forts in Rajasthan, attracting numerous visitors from around the world. The construction of Amber Fort was initiated by Raja Man Singh I, a trusted general of Emperor Akbar, in the late 16th century. Over the centuries, successive rulers of the Kachwaha dynasty made significant additions and alterations, resulting in a splendid blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles. Attractions within Amber Fort include: Ganesh pol, Diwan-i-Aam, Sheesh Mahal, Man Singh Mahal, Maota Lake and may more….
Jal Mahal also known as the “Water Palace” is situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake, which is an artificial lake created in the 16th century to serve as a reservoir for the city. The palace was built during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh I of the Kachwaha dynasty in the 18th century. The palace's architecture is a fascinating combination of Rajput and Mughal styles. The building has five levels, with four submerged in water when the lake is full, leaving only the top floor visible. The lower levels were designed to stay underwater, providing stability to the structure and protecting it from water damage. The palace was initially used as a hunting lodge and a retreat for the royal family during the summer months. The lake was artificially created to ensure a reliable water supply for the city of Jaipur.
Jantar Mantar is an extraordinary astronomical observatory A UNESCO World Heritage sit-in 2010 located in Jaipur,Rajasthan. It is one of the five Jantar Mantar observatories in India, and all of them were constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, a Rajput king and astronomer, in the early 18th century. The purpose of Jantar Mantar was to observe and study celestial objects and phenomena such as the positions of stars, planets, the sun, and the moon. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who had a keen interest in astronomy and mathematics, designed and built the observatory with the help of skilled architects and astronomers. The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is the largest of all the Jantar Mantar observatories and boasts a collection of 19 fascinating architectural astronomical instruments. Each instrument serves a specific purpose and was designed with remarkable precision, using stone, marble, and metal to ensure accuracy in measurements.

Another great tour by Vivek with driver Manish! I'd done a street food tour with Vivek before which was so good, I knew he'd be the best person to take me around the sights of Jaipur. He was communicative and customised the itinerary to my interests. As a local Vivek is full of knowledge, and also a good storyteller. He shared history and fun facts to bring each place to life. He also has a deep understanding of arts and craftsmanship in Jaipur architecture and design, so a good guide for anyone into arts and culture. The day was well-organised, with lots of variety and enough time to spend in each place. Having a car meant we could see more places in a day without getting tired. Vivek is also a photographer so he was understanding of time to take photos and had lots of good tips for shooting angles! High recommended for anyone who's a keen photographer and also wants to capture the beauty of Jaipur. All in all a fun and memorable day!
Friendly and cool tour guide. He will show you around Jaipur and you will get the best quality expirience. You will find out about Jaipur's rich history and its culture.
Our tour of Jaipur was unforgettable thanks to our incredible guide. He took us through the city's most iconic temples, forts, and landmarks with deep knowledge and genuine passion. His storytelling blended cultural insights and personal touches that made each site even more meaningful. It felt less like a formal tour and more like exploring with a good friend who truly cares about the city. He was warm, patient, and tailored the experience to help us better understand Jaipur's history. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jaipur.
I recently took a highlight tour of Jaipur, and it was an incredible experience! Our guide led us through the magnificent City Palace, where we marveled at its stunning architecture and rich history. The Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal) was another highlight, with its intricate façade and unique design that allowed royal women to observe the street below without being seen. The vibrant colors and bustling atmosphere of Jaipur added to the charm. Each sight was captivating, making this tour a fantastic way to soak in the culture and beauty of the Pink City. Highly recommend for any person, couple or group. Our guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable. It felt like traveling with a friend.
A great tour and experience to discover Jaipur with the knowledge of Vivek! He is an amazing guide that will help you to understand not only the history but also the daily life, the spiritual side and the street food of the “pink” city. Thank you Vivek for the wonderful insight of your beautiful Jaipur.
It was a great experience guided by Vivek! Beautiful relaxing city walk with nice highlights. He showed us some authentic hidden gems adding stops for some local bites. Highly recommended!
We had a very enjoyable tour around Jaipur with BL Kumawat (Kumar) and our driver Damodar Singh. They were both very professional, Kumar was knowledgeable about the places we visited and both ensured our safety at all times. We felt the tour to be good value for money.
I spent one day with Vivek as a guide. He’s very knowledgeable but not throwing too many historical facts at you so it’s very interesting. Also has good sense of humour and knows this city like the back of his hand. Overall I’m very satisfied with this day, I learnt a lot and had so much fun!
I had an incredible experience with Vivek as our guide on our Jaipur tour! From start to finish, he was not only welcoming and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the city's rich history and vibrant culture. Vivek went above and beyond to make the tour engaging, sharing fascinating stories and hidden details about each location we visited. His passion for Jaipur was evident and made the experience all the more enjoyable. He knew the best spots and even gave us great recommendations for authentic places to eat. I couldn't have asked for a better guide – thank you, Vivek, for making our Jaipur visit unforgettable! Highly recommend!
Vivek was my guide for a custom tour the full day in Jaipur. He is very knowledgeable, affable, and more than happy to take pictures. We visited Hawa Mahal (where a man told me I was lucky to have Vivek as my guide), Jantar Mantar (my favorite), City Palace, and Amber Fort. I had more potential places in the itinerary, but that was enough for me, so we had a drink at a rooftop bar, where he pointed out the kites being flown, nearby, and I got to watch kite fighting. I had only heard about it in The Kite Runner, so it was fun to see, in person. He made recommendations for dinner and gave me advice about my next stop. I would definitely recommend Vivek as your guide!
Vivek did a really great job of taking us around best spots and giving insight to their history, without overwhelming us with too much information, was really enjoyable!
We had a memorable and epic experience in Jaipur! Our guide was passionate, extremely knowledgeable, warm, and friendly! He shared great stories, knew all the secret, local spots and best places for photos. I highly recommend Rajasthan Cultural tours and will be using them again next time!
We had a guide. He made all our wishes come true and more. A guide is a must. Without a guide we would be lost like in a labirinth, we would be a target for cheaters, we would come to many closed doors and waste our precious time, because the guide knows when the buildings are open. Also a guide knows and can take you to amazing places, restaraunts... and can tell you stories about places and their history. It was really amazing! We fell in love with Jaipur and we will take the same guide next time we come to Jaipur. He made our trip so much easier and safer. It was priceless. Jaipur is really amazing place. There is so much to see and experience. The people were very kind and jolly, our children enjoyed the animals on the streets and the history and architecture, culture and piety, shopping and food, we loved it all. Take your time for a visit. That was our only regret, that our visit was too short.
We had the most amazing time touring Jaipur with Vivek. I have visited Jaipur before but with Vivek’s experience and knowledge I felt like I was seeing it for the first time again. He knows all the hidden gems, the best places to eat, and he tailors the perfect shopping experiences no matter what you are searching for. He also knows the best places for amazing photos! Highly recommend if you are planning to visit Jaipur to see it with Vivek!
Vivek is one of the best tour guides I have had on any trip. He is extremely knowledgeable about Jaipur's history and architecture and offered many interesting insights into the places we visited. Also, he made sure we got to see everything before they became too crowded. I would definitely book Vivek again for a return trip to Rajasthan. 100% recommend.
Vivek was a fantastic guide in Jaipur. He was able to teach us the rich history of the pink city and the various landmarks and also made sure to give us great recommends for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend to anyone!
Vivek was a great guide, showing me all the weird and wonderful sides of Jaipur. He told interesting stories, helped me to avoid the heavy crowds and made the entry/exit from each of the sites totally hassle free. I would highly recommend if you, like me, want to just relax and enjoy the best of Jaipur. Leave all the organisation to Vivek, he’s the man!
Overall, very happy with our experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, flexible with the itenary (he added a few more things to our schedule after discussion with us) and approachable and friendly! Good level of English! Great food suggestions too!

It was just so much fun together. English language of the guide was fluent so very pleasant conversations were possible. He took is to a fantastic restaurant, even brought me to a hairdresser which was a totally new experience. Whole day I never felt a customer and a received so much information. This guide was a walking encyclopedia!
Great experience with Vivek! I met Vivek at Amber Palace through a German couple I met the previous day in Agra. I was actually with a different tour company completing the golden triangle tour but I had decided to forego a tour guide because of a negative experience on the first day of the 4 day trip. When I met Vivek, I was hesitant because of my prior experience. However, he was so kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. I’ve traveled all over the world alone but have found it a bit more challenging in India. Vivek treated me very kindly. He let me join my newfound German friends and wouldn’t even let me tip him! I highly highly recommend Vivek.
My family and I spent 2 days with our guide Vivek. It has been the highlight of our trip so far. He was flexible with our tour which was a tremendous plus as we also travelled with our 4 year old. Very patient, full of knowledge and made us feel comfortable. I cannot recommend him enough.
An amazing guy and good professional! Vivek is a really nice person and also a good photographer! We did very good tour although i would like to also add the Monkey Temple,
Our tour was truly excellent in every aspect. Everything flowed seamlessly, thanks to our wonderful guide and driver. They were both exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to enhance our tour experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to everyone - it's a 100% must-try!
Our time in Jaipur was an absolute delight as we explored its prominent attractions and indulged in some shopping. Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Vishal were truly remarkable professionals, with Mr. Sandeep as our knowledgeable guide and Mr. Vishal as our excellent driver. They expertly led us through Jaipur, sharing captivating stories about its rich heritage. Mr. Sandeep's tour exceeded our expectations and offered exceptional value for the price. I enthusiastically endorse and highly recommend his tour to all.
Absolutely, I'd be delighted to assist! Mr. Surua undoubtedly stands out as an exceptional tour guide. His wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Jaipur and India at large is truly impressive. He skillfully guided us through the city, offering captivating insights into its rich past. It was evident that his expertise extended beyond mere facts, as he effortlessly wove together historical anecdotes that brought the sites to life.
Umaid, our guide, along with Mukesh, our driver, warmly greeted us despite the early morning hour. Umaid’s flexibility in adjusting the schedule based on our plans for tomorrow and our well-being during the journey was truly appreciated. His extensive knowledge of history, architecture, and art kept us engaged and captivated throughout. Mukesh's kindness and considerate demeanor added to our overall satisfaction.
