Salman Ali met us at our hotel and from start to finish, we had a wonderful experience. Tuk Tuk is the only way to travel around Jaipur. We managed to see what we had planned and more. Salman’s recommendations were super. We had a wonderful experience in Jaipur and would highly recommend a visit with Salman or one of his colleagues or family as your guide.

Day 1

City Palace in Jaipur is a stunning blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Located in the heart of Jaipur’s Pink City, it features sprawling courtyards, beautiful gardens, and ornate buildings. Key attractions include the Chandra Mahal, which houses a museum, and the intricately decorated Peacock Gate.
Hawa Mahal, or the "Palace of Winds," is a five-story pink sandstone structure in Jaipur, built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Famous for its 953 small windows or "jharokhas," it allowed royal women to observe street festivities unseen. The palace’s honeycomb design and intricate latticework make it an architectural marvel in Jaipur's Pink City.
Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is an ancient astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734. It features a collection of large, unique instruments designed to measure time, predict eclipses, and track celestial bodies with remarkable precision. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, it includes the world’s largest stone sundial and showcases Jaipur's historical advancements in astronomy.
You will have first-hand experience with traditional block printing in Jaipur, learning the techniques and craftsmanship behind this time-honored art.
The Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur, completed in 1887, is the oldest museum in Rajasthan. Built in an Indo-Saracenic style, it showcases a vast collection of artifacts, including ancient sculptures, pottery, paintings, and intricate carpets. Located in Ram Niwas Garden, this museum offers insight into Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage and artistry, making it a must-visit for history and art enthusiasts.
Birla Mandir, also known as the Laxmi Narayan Temple, is a modern Hindu temple in Jaipur dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. Built with pure white marble, this architectural gem features intricate carvings of Hindu deities, saints, and symbols. Set against the backdrop of Moti Dungri Hill, it offers a serene ambiance and a beautiful view, especially when illuminated at night.
Patrika Gate is a vibrant, ornate gateway located at Jawahar Circle in Jaipur. Known for its stunning hand-painted arches, the gate showcases intricate designs that represent Rajasthan's culture, history, and heritage. Each pillar and arch is adorned with murals depicting royal palaces, temples, forts, and folklore. Popular among photographers, Patrika Gate has become an iconic symbol and picturesque entryway into the Pink City.
Day 2
2
Nestled on the outskirts of Jaipur, Amer Town is a historic and picturesque locale that captures the essence of Rajasthan's regal past. Known primarily for the magnificent historical buildings, this town is a harmonious blend of ancient architectural marvels, rich culture, and breathtaking natural landscapes.
Perched on the Aravalli hills near Jaipur, Jaigarh Fort, built in 1726 by Maharaja Jai Singh II, is a symbol of Rajput strength. Known for housing the Jaivana Cannon, the world’s largest on wheels, the fort played a key role in protecting Amber and Jaipur. Its subterranean passages, granaries, and stunning views of Amer Town showcase its strategic brilliance and enduring grandeur.
Situated on the Aravalli hills overlooking Jaipur, Nahargarh Fort is a majestic structure built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Known for its intricate architecture and scenic views of Jaipur, the fort was a retreat for the royal family. The Madhavendra Palace, with its beautifully decorated rooms and interconnected corridors, is a highlight. Nahargarh also features a stepwell and offers mesmerizing sunset views, making it a favorite spot for history and nature enthusiasts.
Nestled at the foothills of Nahargarh Fort, Royal Gaitor features intricately carved cenotaphs of Jaipur's rulers. Blending Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, the site’s highlight is the ornate tomb of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Its tranquil ambiance and scenic setting offer a peaceful escape for history enthusiasts.
Jal Mahal, or "Water Palace," is a stunning architectural marvel located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. Built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the palace blends Rajput and Mughal architectural styles. The structure appears to float on the water, with its five stories, four of which are submerged, adding to its enchanting allure. While visitors cannot enter the palace, it offers picturesque views, especially at sunset, and is a popular spot for photography.
Nestled in a rocky valley near Jaipur, Monkey Temple is part of the historic Galta Ji complex, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site. Known for its sacred water tanks (kunds) and intricate temples, the site is home to a large population of monkeys. The Sun Temple at the hilltop offers breathtaking views, while the lush surroundings and religious significance make it a peaceful yet vibrant attraction.
Once the fort and palace visits are complete, we will take you to a silver jewelry and ornaments factory to see the craftsmanship up close.

We had a very good two day trip of Jaipur. Appreciate how Jameel who and our guide Tousaf went out of their way to make our visit experience memorable.
Salman Ali showed us around the magnificent city of Jaipur. We were able to get to every monument quickly and comfortably thanks to his modern tuk-tuk. He’s the best driver in Jaipur—we recommend him! Thank you for your kindness and attentiveness! 🛺🛺
It was great experience, the driver Salman Ali was very good and trustworthy. Took us to several great forts, shopping to a place where we bought great clothes, recommend Salman Ali to all tourists.
It’s a very comfortable way of visiting the main attractions of Jaipur. We really enjoyed the tour with Asif (guide) and Jabbar (driver). We didn’t feel rushed and we were able to adjust the itinerary with them. They were on time and they communicated well. Asif is very knowledgeable about the attractions and their history. Side note: We were taken to Rajasthan Handlooms Art And Jewellery store for shopping but later we realized this place was expensive and we overpaid for stuff that were cheaper in Bapu Bazaar. So if you plan to shop, first visit Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar.
I booked this tour for my parents, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They made sure my parents saw all the highlights comfortably and the trip was memorable and hassle-free. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Jaipur
Tour was overall ok and may have been better for people without children. The driver kept complaining to us that we started each day a couple hours late, but we told him we didn't care if we had less time and the kids needed to get ready in the morning. He was condescending and would hurry us up when we said we needed to break for breakfast. They were not willing to help with the stroller where there were steps, and the tour guide would share 60 seconds of history at each spot then walked away from us and was on the phone 90% of the time. Overall it was an average experience, good for people who are more nimble and don't have kids.
I had an incredible two days exploring Jaipur with Asif as my guide and Jabbar as my driver. From the start everything was smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. Asif is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Jaipur and Rajasthan, and he brought every monument to life with clear explanations and great storytelling. We visited all the major sites including Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal, and he made sure the experience never felt rushed. What I appreciated most was that he also took the time to answer all my questions about modern daily life in India. We had fascinating conversations about education, healthcare, housing, and politics that gave me a much deeper understanding of the country beyond the monuments. He was also an excellent "IG boyfriend" taking great photos every where we went. IYKYK. Jabbar was an excellent driver throughout the two days. Navigating Jaipur traffic is no small task, but he drove calmly and confidently and always made me feel safe. Asif also helped me shop for traditional outfits for a wedding I was attending, which made the experience even more memorable. He brought me to great, clean places for meals and made sure everything felt comfortable and easy as a solo traveler. When it was time to continue my journey to Agra, Asif arranged a driver for me, Jameel, who was great. The drive was long but Jameel handled it with great skill and professionalism, and I felt completely safe the entire time. (Well as safe as you can feel when you are dodging cows, people, motor bikes, tuk tuks, trucks and potholes constantly) If you’re visiting Jaipur and dont want to have to think about logistics or transit from one site to another, even intercity, I highly recommend. Five stars all the way.
Great experience ! The driver took is to many places and showed us the city
Our tour was the two day tour of Jaipur for first time visitors. Our guide was Asif and he was amazing! He knew not only the history each place, but how it related to other places we were seeing. He made sure we saw the sites listed in the itinerary but did not rush us. He was patient in answering our questions, gave us plenty of time to take photos, knew the best spots and angles to take photos of us, and allowed us to explore some areas on our own. His English was very good and understandable to us as Americans. We feel like we more than got value for the cost of the tour. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Ask for Asif!!
We had a wonderful 2-day Jaipur tour arranged through TripAdvisor, and it was truly a memorable experience. Our driver, Abdul Jabbar, was extremely kind, friendly, and professional throughout the trip. He was always punctual, ensured we were comfortable, and managed the schedule very smoothly. What made the experience even better was the wealth of information he shared about Jaipur’s history, culture, and architecture. His insights made every fort and monument much more meaningful for us. He was patient, helpful, and always ready to answer our questions.
The driver and car was amazing. He was a localite and he guided us to visit the right places. Also he was very friendly and cooperative. The trip felt amazing and hussle free becoz of him. Really enjoyed the trip. Would recommend to take this travel tour to make your trip memorable ✨️
We had such a special experience with Asif and Ajju. They are genuinely kind and thoughtful people who made us feel comfortable right away. It never felt like just a tour. It felt like being shown around by people who truly care about what they do and about the people they are hosting. They showed us so many beautiful and meaningful places, and everything felt relaxed and well paced. We never felt rushed, and they were always happy to answer questions and share stories. One thing I especially appreciated was how accommodating they were. I needed help finding an outfit for a wedding I am attending, and they went out of their way to guide me to the right places. What felt overwhelming at first became such a smooth and enjoyable experience because of them. Asif also took so many beautiful photos of us at the historical sites throughout the day, photos I will cherish as memories of our time there. We are so grateful for the time we spent together and would absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting Jaipur.
We had the best time with Asif and Ajju. From the start, they just felt like genuinely good people, warm, kind, and easy to be around. They showed us all the highlights, but in a way that never felt rushed or transactional. It felt personal. I honestly wish we had booked them for our entire time in Rajasthan. They were also incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. I needed to find an outfit for a wedding I’m attending, and they took the time to help me navigate the shopping scene, which felt overwhelming at first. Asif also took great photos of me and my boyfriend which is something I probably would not have without him and I’m grateful to have these memories in photographs now. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Truly such a memorable experience.
We absolutely recommend this experience and would do it again anytime! We received amazing insider tips. We Would do it again!
Great days of exploration and discovery with driver Salman Ali. Absolutely recommend Salman for his first class geographical knowledge, friendliness and can-do attitude.
What an amazing trip with my personalised tour with Tour Guide, Asif and Driver Jabbar. Two full days in Jaipur visiting palaces, forts, monuments and temples. Asif is an extremely knowledgeable guide providing great insights into the history of Jaipur. However, I would still suggest one to do some pre-reading / research to get the most out of this tour. The tour was so good that I extended it with 2 other tours with them including a night tour with a tasting of local foods / culture, as well as a separate tour to Taj Mahal and Agra. Our driver Jabbar was very skilled in safely navigating through the often chaotic traffic, narrow lanes and not to mention driving through a foggy early morning drive to Agra.
Excellent experience with This company. Salman Ali was a fabulous driver who knows the city and the sights really well. He was very friendly and accommodating and we highly recommend him.
Outstanding driver and experience. Jameel was a perfect driver—punctual, warm, and on top a very interesting person. Our guide, Asif, was also very kind and knowledgeable. Great locations, and wonderful value. 10/10
Great two days exploring Jaipur! An amazing experience with amazing sights. We were very well looked after and felt safe with our knowledgable guide/driver. Thank you 🙏
What an amazing two days we’ve had in and around Jaipur. Asif has been an excellent and informative guide, as has our taxi driver Jameel, who deserves a special mention for getting us through the mad Jaipur traffic safely. Our hosts have been friendly, helpful and flexible during our trip, resulting in a most memorable experience.
It was a wonderful tour - both Asif and Mahindra (our tour guide and driver) were fantastic :) the tour was super customisable - meaning we could move around our plans. They even dropped us at the airport! Asif was super engaging and knew loads about each stop - we especially enjoyed hearing about his life as well as about each of the stops. Mahindra navigated traffic like a boss, it was a great and comfortable journey. Both of them were also super transparent. Genuinely really would recommend this tour to make sure you see the top sights of Jaipur in a short period of time ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A '5 star' tour and operator. I am so pleased that I booked this tour to give a wonderful overview of this beautiful city. Communication before, during and after the trip was first class. Jamil was most accommodating and did everything yo make the trip as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He was flexible with the itinerary that I wished to follow and happy to give advice both during the trip and afterwards. His driving skills were also noteworthy, given the traffic in Jaipur. On the first day, we visited the Amber Fort, Jal Mahal and Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan. Lunch was taken at 'The Curry Spoon' on both days. The menu here is extensive and with excellent choices. There were also opportunities to pick up quality souvenirs from the City. On the second day, we started our touring by visiting Nahargah Fort. Arriving early to beat the crowds, we pretty much had the Fort to ourselves and were given incredible views of the city. Afterwards, we visited Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the City Palace. After lunch, we visited the Monkey Temple. Jamil was flexible with the itinerary, but I trusted him to give me the best overview of the city that he could, and I was very happy with the tour. Our guide throughout was Jai Singh, who was both knowledgeable and amenable. He pitched the tour and insights given at the perfect level. He was thoroughly professional and clearly passionate about his subject. I very much recommend this tour to anyone wishing to gain a perfect overview of the city over the two days. I chose the tour with guide and entrance tickets included. This saved time but also gave me the expert knowledge to get the best out of my trip. The trip represented excellent value for the quality of service. A wonderful two day tour. Thank you!
I was very happy with the tour. Our tour driver Mukesh and tour guide Chirag was extremely helpful and had great knowledge about entire city. I would definitely recommend this tour for first time visitor and asked for same driver and guide for great experience.
The 2 day Jaipur for first time visitors is a fantastic tour for those visiting Jaipur, like me with limited time. My driver Jamil and tour guide Jai were fantastic! Jamil touched base with me the day prior to welcome me and ensure all of the pick up details were correct. I was arriving from Delhi the day of the tour only to find that my flight was cancelled that morning and no flight alternatives that day. I coordinated with Jamil and travelled from Delhi to Jaipur by road. I can’t thank Jamil and Jai enough for their flexibility. After arriving in Jaipur 5hrs later than the tour was supposed to commence, I was picked up at an alternative address and Jamil and Jai were so accomodating to be able to finish day one later and commence day 2 earlier to ensure the itinerary was possible. Jamil is a great driver and doesn’t use a horn all day (like the rest of the city) which was so refreshing. Nothing was too much trouble for both Jamil and Jai throughout the tour. I was looked after like family, treated like a friend and made to feel like a local. Jai has a great sense of humour and is a savvy photographer - I have great photos to remeber Jaipur! Thank you Jamil & Jai. I had an amazing tour thanks to your friendship and hospitality.
A great tour to visit all of the highlights that Jaipur has to offer including the major monuments and traditional workmanship outlets for those short on time.
Me and my friend (2 girls) spent two days in Jaipur with driver Mohammad Ali. It was great experience. He showed us many interesting and beautiful places and told us many informations about the city and the culture of India. We felt safe the whole time. If we come again we will definitely choose him as our driver again.
We opted for a 2-day tour since we had the time. It can easily be done in 1 day, though that may feel a little rushed. Our guide, Hansraj, was knowledgeable, and was able to keep us engaged in English and Hindi. Got us tons of great photographs on our smartphones (knows the locations and the angles). We did have stops at a fabric place and artisan center, which were a little unnecessary. We did not want to buy, and they were nice but slightly persistent. We did the forts, the palaces, and stopped at pretty decent restaurants for lunch.
Our driver Jamil was dependable and always on time. He was a good and safe driver. He was eager to share his knowledge about the city and the places we visited. He made sure that we covered everything on the itinerary. The company made good arrangements and communicated well with me.
First, the good. The Driver Abdul was excellent. On time. Attentive. Courteous. Minimal horn usage. The bad: the two tour guides (different one for each day) each with no desire to stick to the itinerary (see my detailed breakdown at the end) We saw less than half of the promised sites and only saw some of those we did because we dismissed the 2nd day’s guide and sent him away to stop him wasting our time. The whole tour was geared to the agenda of the guides in getting us into shops to be ambushed with overpriced tat. We didn’t give in once and bought nothing but still they persisted. Both guides were keen to push how important astrology is to locals (and palm reading was mentioned) so there was clearly a planned scam to present us to some mystic to pay $$$ for a reading. We successfully rubbished this so didn’t have to give another “no thanks. No thanks” explanation to a pushy seller. There is also the scam of being taken to an overpriced tourist restaurant for lunch where everything costs twice what other tourist restaurants charge I.e. you get charged 5 times what you should and no doubt the guide gets a free meal and / or commission. The (supposed) itinerary: City Palace of Jaipur - yes, but each dress etc we saw in the displays was a conversation opening to take us to a fabric / suit making shop. Each piece of jewellery in the museum was an opening to mention that Jaipur is a world gemstone centre (it isn’t) Hawa Mahal - Nope. A drive past was done but unbelievably there was no plan or allowance to drop us off to go inside one of the most famous Jaipur monuments! (Except after we got fed up and sent the guide away on the second day, refusing to visit more shops and the driver took us here and the Isarlet to finish the day) Jantar Mantar - Yes. Isarlat (Tower) - Nope. (Except after we got fed up and sent the guide away on the second day, refusing to visit more shops and the driver took us here and Hawa Mahal to finish the day) Albert Hall Museum - Nope. We were taken to see it from afar: 200m away at the end of the last day but that was it. Birla Mandir Temple - Nope Patrika Gate - Nope. We asked because it was on the itinerary but were told it’s too far out of town. Amer Fort - Yes, with a nice stop at the Stepwell on the way. Jaigarh Fort -Nope. We saw it high above us from Amber Fort but were driven back to town and not offered it. Another major tourist attraction simply omitted due to lack of time. Nahargarh Fort - Nope. We had already driven back to town at this point so it was 30+ minute journey when I asked so we were told it was to be a walking street tour (cue more overpriced shops). Again. A major tourist attraction just omitted. Royal Gaitor Tumbas - Nope, not included. Jal Mahal, "Water Palace," - Yes. A car stop so we could see it from a good viewpoint on the lakeside.

We were looked after from the moment we arrived. Ajju picked us up from the airport with a warm welcome and ensured we had everything we needed from there on in. Advising where to go, providing his number so we could contact him to arrange pick ups, and generally making our time in Jaipur a delight. His prices were extremely reasonable and fair. We couldn't recommend more highly.
He's a really respectful driver who will also tell you great facts about the Jaipur city. Is punctual and will warn you from all the things for tourists to be aware about like overpriced places, tour guides who will misguide you, etc. Overall, a great and safe driver!
We had the 2 day tour in Jaipur with Jamil and Jai. They were incredible, Jamil is an excellent driver and Jai an amazing tour guide, knowing a lot about history and answering all our questions. We felt very comfortable with them. Would definitely recommend.
We had a very good experience. It was a good drive through the city and he was very helpful and caring. We would definitely recommend 😊
Well the travel agency that viator has assigned to me when I made my reservation the person who got in touch with me me month before the trip disappeared when I tried to reach him the night of tour he was shopping for a driver and a tour guide one the guides finally called at 10 pm the he didn’t like it seems so he assigned another one that showed up next day told me he was contacted the late at night for this tour and the driver who is a taxi driver also showed up pretending he is the bother of the travel agent what a miss, these 2 people tried their best with their limited ability and bad shaped vehicle taking all pumby roads did the tour with me the guides finally called smokes so he gets irritated and restless if he didn’t get his smoking break I was so patient with his limitations of taking photos with I phone he and the driver did their best to the best of their ability to make me happy
Best tuktuk of the city Very fast very friendly Jaipur is crowded but tuktuk is the way to move in the city You can book a tuk tuk for the all day it’s so convenient
Our tour experience was great. The communication before the start was helpful to know who the driver and guide were going to be. Across both days the team of Mahender, Jai Singh and Hitesh were great at getting us around the city and seeing everything in an efficient way, as well as providing good insight into jaipur and answering any questions that we had. I would recommend this experience!
This was a perfect trip! The driver, Jameel, was very helpful and respectful, he gave us great tips on how to visit Pushkar and Ajmer and warned us about the scams there. He perfectly knew when we wanted to talk and when we would rather keep quiet as well. He drove cautiously and we didnt feel in dangered at all.
What a wonderful experience we had! We were a group of 14 and were driven around Jaipur for two days by tuk-tuk. We enjoyed the explanations and the assistance with taking beautiful photos.Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thanks to them, we had a local breakfast, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and were even able to have clothes tailored. They also helped us book movie tickets.
Ask for Salman Ali for the party tuk tuk!! Had loads of fun being driven around the pink city and singing Bella Ciao!! :) Very kind
Unser driver Salman Ali is mister no problem. He does everything for you! As we wish to see things he completet everything! Perfect and he knows every good restaurant and chai shop!
I had the most incredible 2-day experience exploring Jaipur with Salman Ali as my tuk tuk driver and guide! From the moment we started the tour, he made me feel safe, welcome, and completely at ease. Salman knows all the best places — from famous landmarks like the Amber Fort, City Palace, and Hawa Mahal, to hidden local gems I would have never found on my own. He was always punctual, super friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Jaipur. He even helped me find great local food spots and places to shop without any pressure. What really stood out was how honest, funny, and genuine he is. It didn’t feel like a tour — it felt like exploring the city with a local friend. His tuk tuk is comfortable, colorful, and perfectly maintained. 😄🛺💯 If you’re visiting Jaipur, I can’t recommend Salman enough. He made my trip unforgettable. Contact him on Instagram: @salman_ali6724 — you won’t regret it!
Very happy with our private tuk-tuk driver Salman Ali! He was very kind and cheerful! He took us to fun places, especially the sunset tour which was amazing! He also had great restaurant recommendations! Whenever we needed a ride, we just sent him a message and he came to pick us up within 5 minutes. He also showed us a lot of the local side of Jaipur!
A couple of friends and I visited Jaipur for the first time with Rasheed as our driver and had an absolutely wonderful experience- we visited around 10 sites in 1.5 days without any of the stress of planning as he knew all the best restaurants and spots and drove us quickly and safely. It was a lovely, friendly environment and I would highly recommend especially for the great price it’s offered at.
Great service and very friendly. Wasim and ajju were amazing. 10/10 recommend if you are in Jaipur and need a taxi service or tour
SHARIF was the best! We had a great day exploring Amber Fort and nearby Stepwell. Sharif recommended a great spot for lunch, then took us to some local factories where we saw block printing and jewellery making, with no pressure to buy. We then visited, Jaigarh Fort and onto Nahargargh Fort for sunset. He helped us plan the day to make sure we avoided busiest times and made the best of the sites. We have already passed on his number to family and are excited for our second day tomorrow!
We went to several places near Jaipur, he spent his all day with us. Awesome Guy ! He knows the city very well and we had a lot of fun Thousands Thanks !!
Drivers behavior is so polite and welcoming car higeine was amazing. We were 2 couples and didn't feel any discomfort. They didn't charge for any extra few kilometers.
We had an awesome time with sharif, he has a perfect knowledge of local area and he was willing to make the tour personal for what we wanted to see and do! He is a nice man and was happy to explain local culture and sights as well as teaching us very useful hindi phrases. I could recommend very highly to get sharif to give you the full jaipur experience!
