Ali Akin is a great guide. We did use him as a family in 2019. And he was very professional then and we took 3 to 4 tours from him. This time my husband and I came to Istanbul and he was very good with responding and being very punctual with all the Tour times including setting up our car for a half a day and a walking guide for half a day. We will use them again if we come back to Istanbul.

Visiting the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and the other historic landmarks with such a knowledgeable guide made the experience truly memorable. Everything was seamless and well organized from beginning to end. I would absolutely recommend this private tour to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially if you want to experience the Old City in a more personal and meaningful way rather than simply seeing the sights on your own.

Akin is great! He put together a custom program for me based on my needs and preferences. He delivered exactly what I needed and wanted to experience. I asked him to set up interviews and meet ups with different kinds of artists and crafts people, and he did so perfectly. I wanted to meet and interview one of Istanbul's famous ice cream vendors, and he arranged that, too! This was my second time touring with him. He very quickly feels as much like a friend as like a guide. He gives such a passionate and engaging insider's view of Istanbul, sharing so much about his personal experiences, the culture, and life there in general. I'm sure I will be returning, and I will definitely ask Akin to show me around again.
