We had a great tour to the Hippodrome Constantinople which is a park with obelisk monuments, Blue Mosque which is still being worshipped in today, the Basilica Cistern which provided fresh water for the Byzantine people; it has 250 columns holding up the city, we had a great lunch at a small little cafe to get some energy to then venture into the Grand Bazaar; it's one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 4000 shops ... Something for everyone!!!! Of course we bought a few things☺️ Our tour guide, Emel was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about the history, their traditions, the Muslim culture, their religion and all about the area. She suggested places worth going to and others that were not. We would highly recommend this tour, especially if you can request Emel!!
We had a great day with our wonderful tour guide. He took us to all the top attractions in Istanbul like the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. He even took us shopping for gifts for our grand children. He was so knowledgeable, and made learning about the culture of the Turkish people enjoyable. We could never have navigated the city on our own and were very lucky to have him as our guide. He was kind, courteous, and personable. He made Istanbul our favorite destination on our four country tour.
Our tour guide Elif was great. She selected sites that gave us a great understanding of Instanbul Culture & History. In addition, she was very informative about the city and added many additional comments and perspectives. Highly recommend selecting her for a private tour!
Renan our guide was excellent. Had all the knowledge to navigate the main attractions without the queues. Did exactly what we wanted to do and see.
We had a long day, but wonderful tour with Omer. We saw so many historical sights! The Cistern was a highlight! Prepare for a lot of walking and photo opportunities. Our guide was very kind and was happy to stop for rest breaks whenever necessary. He knew the right time for us to enter the Blue Mosque, with limited waiting. He knew which shopping areas had the best quality products.
Great overview of primary sites. Informative and professionally done. Guide was competent, professional, friendly, and genuine.
Brilliant day being shown around Istanbul by Ali. It was easy, relaxed and flexible and he provided us with wonderful information and historical facts. Highly recommend.
We had a very rewarding experience. It was very well organized and executed, from the driver to the hotels provided. Our guide, Aykut, was extremely competent. He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region. He was very helpful and kind throughout the entire trip. I highly recommend the ADA company and the guide Aykut. Marcos, Salete and Bruno.
Customized tour of Istanbul was perfect. Saref was able to accommodate my 83yr old mother's mobility limitations while helping the rest of the group see all the sights on our list!
With only 3 days in the incredible city of Istanbul, we wanted to maximize every moment. Thank goodness we booked with Naz the first full day!!! She was incredible! Knowledgeable of Turkish history, architecture, and able to navigate all of the major sites with ease. But more than that, she was such a special person, sharing with us her story, in such a professional yet personal way, that we felt we had made a new friend too! Excellent experience in every way!
Our tour with Eda was incredible! She made every stop come alive with her deep historical knowledge, and she took such great care of our group of eight. Eda was patient, thoughtful, and truly went the extra mile to make our day unforgettable. We would 100% request her again—highly recommended. Thank you so much, Eda!
This tour was beyond our expectations because of our guide, Renan. She went way above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. She knew so many people which gave us a feeling of safety and comfort in the shops, restaurants and streets. Renan made Istanbul come to life for us! Ask for Renan!
Lots of walking and stairs! But fantastic visits to Blue Mosque, cistern, grand bazaar, Spice market and more. Our guide Behic was very accommodating and helpful. We should have allowed more time
Great walking tour of all the main sights. Kemal was very knowledgeable and a great guide. Perfect way to see Istanbul
Our excursion was scheduled for 11:00am, but our guide showed up and was waiting for us at 10:00am. He tried texting us, but texts weren't coming through. Thankfully he was amazing and waited around and we did find each other. We did the private tour and it was very informative and personalized. Our guide even went into the Grand Bazaar with us which was super helpful.
Our tour guide Eda was very nice and knowledgeable. The tour was customize to our pace. Highly recommended!
This was an amazing tour! Our guide, Omer, was outstanding. He got us through everything efficiently and took great care of us! We learned so many great things about the history in Istanbul.
Very accommodating of our schedules and made sure we saw what we wanted to see. Many thanks for showing us your lovely city.
Our guide was Nazyium she was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. We were on a tight time frame which she worked around for us to see what we wanted to in the time we had. I’d highly recommend this type of tour. Being just us we could speed things up and slow things down. Ps. Go early the blue mosque was quite as we were there when it opened.
Engen was great! We enjoyed seeing the highlights of Istanbul and had some great discussions with him. Just know that entrance fees are not included in this tour. Was just the right amount of time. Also know that there is lots of walking. You don’t have to do the rug or tile tours if you don’t want to, otherwise you feel obligated to make a purchase.
Our tour guide Tunc gave us a very educational visit, exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend his services. Visited from the US!
Excellent tour and very individualised. Saw all we wanted and had recommendations for food. Loved the spice market.
Great guide, super friendly and knowledgeable. Tailored elements to what we wanted and was very considerate!
Ali was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative! He adapted our tour based on our wishes. Highly recommended.
The tour is flexible. We saw all the things on our list! Erkut did a great job of getting us to each place without our feeling rushed. We asked for a break mid day and enjoyed some food and people watching then we were ready to go again! Erkut is a well informed guide and pleasant to visit with.
Our guide, Eda was very informative and knowledgable. She went above and beyond to enable us to see what we wanted.
Our guide Ali was spectacular. Super personable, so knowledgeable, funny, and he had great savvy in our itinerary to flexibly get us to see everything we hoped for. We could not have been happier.
Eren was a terrific guide today! Very knowledgeable and articulate. He arrived in a Mercedes Van and we were taken in first class comfort to the important sights in Istanbul. He knew the shortcuts for maneuvering around nimbly and it could not have been more pleasant!

Omer was friendly and informative. He allows you to customize your tour and experience. Ask lots of questions since he’ll have the answers
Make sure you have WhatsApp for communication with the tour company. Tour guide "Mike" was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the sights and gave a great historical background for our private tour. He made our experience thoroughly enjoyable!
Ali was amazing!!! It was my husband’s birthday and he customized our sight seeing to exactly what he wanted to do! I can honestly say we could not have navigated the Grand Bazzar or the public transit without him! I would recommend this tour 1000% times over
We enjoyed this tour. Our guide was great and we saw lots of sites. We anlso enjoyed our time at the spice market he took us to!
This tour was everything we had hoped for—and more! Bora was absolutely amazing! He managed our large group of seven (including kids) with such ease, keeping us safe, on schedule, and engaged every step of the way. He helped us navigate Istanbul, showing us all the important things! We visited all the highlights—starting with the Blue Mosque just before closing, followed by the stunning palace, where Bora shared fascinating history and made sure we saw all the must-see spots. Bora is so knowledgeable and his English is superb! We enjoyed the most incredible lunch at a restaurant I’ll be dreaming about for years, and wrapped up our day at the Grand Bazaar. But Bora didn’t stop there—he went above and beyond, recommending the perfect gamma for our group m, helping us get reservations, and even giving us tips on how to catch the ferry to the Asian side of Istanbul since our cruise ship stayed in Istanbul for two days. This was a day we will never forget, and it’s all thanks to Bora. If you have the chance, book this tour—and absolutely request him. He’s amazing!
Naz was the best guide! She was professional, personable, knowledgeable and friendly. If we ever come back we will request her to be our guide again. Thank you Naz for making Istanbul a forever memory for us!
Excellent experience! Highly recommend Dogan! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and just so much fun! Thank you Dogan, you made the experience everything we were hoping for!

Great short tour for the main areas of old Istanbul. Mustafa was a great guide and helped is with everything we needed and more.
This was an amazing tour of a truly complex and captivating city. Istanbul stands at the crossroads of continents, faiths, and cultures—where East meets West, Europe meets Asia, and Christian, Jewish, and Muslim histories intertwine. It’s a city of contrasts and harmony, where modern ideas blend seamlessly with ancient traditions, and the energy of youth coexists with thousands of years of heritage. Our tour gave us a deeper appreciation for this unique fusion, beginning with iconic landmarks like the awe-inspiring Blue Mosque and the majestic Hagia Sophia. From there, we wandered through the winding streets of the old city, eventually arriving at the vibrant Grand Bazaar—a sensory feast of color, scent, and sound. What made this tour truly special was our guide, Jeff. A local with profound insight, he brought the city’s rich history to life through stories that reflected both its religious depth and its secular spirit. His thoughtful commentary helped us understand the nuances of Istanbul—not just as a destination, but as a living, breathing cultural mosaic. If you’re looking for a meaningful, perspective-shifting experience in Istanbul, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommended.
Sait Ciftci was our guide and he was absolutely amazing! He took to all the places we wanted to see and his history of the sights was incredible! I’m glad we did the private tour! Sait took us to a great lunch spot and showed us so many things. He was a gentle man and always told me to watch my step. I highly recommend him as a private tour guide.
One-on-one tour with a guide. Helped us navigate the primary attractions and provided brief and pertinent historical context for each.
The day tour is packed with many experiences in just one day. We got to see the highlights of Istanbul. Mosques, cisterns, Grand Bazaar, Palace, museums, and Turkish rugs shopping experience. Zedat went above and beyond for us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'd recommend this tour to anyone especially if you only have a short visit to Istanbul.
Everything was perfect. They met us at cruise ship and took us to blue mosque and spice bazaar and to airport hotel The car was clean and beautiful. Excellent driver Our guide sherif aral was outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable and with impeccable English explained everything Could not have been happier with our experience
We are on Mediterranean cruise, and one of the main ports is Istanbul. After careful research I thought I could cover the city on my own with the information I acquired. I could not have been more wrong. BOOK THIS TOUR. Our guide is Özgür Acar, that’s his name. He was incredible, he took us all over place I would not have ever been able to see not speaking the language and not knowing the cable car system. When we came back to ship, people were complaining about the tour from cruise lines and the tours from the city itself. Not us!!! We could not have been anymore happy and grateful to Özgür. Keep in mind you still have to buy your tickets for Hag Sophia and the Blue Sistern so buy those tickets on line before you go.
we experienced so many amazing historic sites on this walking tour of old Istanbul. Our guide really knew all of the sites and the history of these iconic places. Definately the best way to see Istanbul.
Ali, was intuned to our excitement about life in Istanbul/Turkey, culture, customs, history of people, buildings and objects. He knew all, where to find beautiful rugs and such. He was cultured and knowledgeable. Tours and guiding in Cisterns and Hagia Sophia are unforgettable. He picked us up from hotel on time and in comfortable AC vehicle. We need to come to Istanbul again!
Our tour guide, Fatih, was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting stories about the sights along the way and the ones we visited. He took us from Galataport via bus to the center of town where we walked over what was the Hippodrome, went inside the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and The Basilica Cistern and visited a beautiful leather shop where they served us Turkish coffee and tea. We stopped for lunch at a quaint artist courtyard where they teach and display ceramics and had an amazing lunch. Fatih watched over us to be sure we were able to keep up and have enough time for photos. Since our ship planned 2 days in Istanbul, Fatih wrote instructions for us so we could go on our own the next day to the Spice Market or just explore. Despite warnings we’d heard about safety concerns, Fatih assured us it was no more dangerous than our towns in the US. I found Istanbul to be very clean and the people very polite and hospitable although there are some pretty aggressive vendors in the spice market! It was a hot and exhausting day but so many amazing sights, loved it!
Our guide Murat was friendly, helpful and well-informed. We had a wonderful day exploring Istanbul’s ancient treasures. Highly recommended.
We had Bulut as a guide and he was awesome! He took us to a local place to eat, the Pudding Shop, which was very yummy. Please be aware if you want to go inside Blue Mosque and Topaki palace it will cost an additional $75 per person. I had been messaging what they said was my guide but he was not my guide and they did not pass the message on to Bulut. One of the messages was that our cruise ship had changed our arrival time by 2 hours. We were very lucky that Bulut waited even though he did not get the message.
