This is an excellent way to see Istanbul. We took the tour from the airport and had to return to the airport for a late night flight. We chose to see The Blue Mosque so the traffic took up a lot of our time. Our driver was superb and would take you wherever you would like to go. The Van is very clean and spacious

I booked a DAY tour of all the major sites in Istanbul. [See below] It was supposed to start at noon. When no one came, I called the number and the man said that he thought I had booked a NIGHT club tour. That would have been impossible with visits to Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, the Cistern, etc. I asked if he were free; he said he had other customers. in fairness, he returned the money, but we were without a tour. We went on our own which was okay, but we were without a guide. We had an amazing day tour of Istanbul with Ali. We saw more than we could have imagined and he was a fantastic guide. We basically asked him to lead the way except for one request I had, which he was happy to accommodate, and he was able to show us a dozen different neighborhoods, overlooks, towers, and sites. It was a decent ride with a very nice driver. But I would not call this a tour. The partition between the driver and passengers would not go down so he was only able to speak with the person who sat in the front seat leaving the rest of us without hearing the information. It was more of like having a taxi pick up and drop off.
Erdinç Ali bey was wonderful he made our journey easy to travel around İstanbul for the whole day. I definitely recommend booking with him. My car was different. Driver did not speak english. He came 45 min late. Did not show us anything. He only wanted to take us to his friends restaurant and shop even after denying it. Dropped us off after 2.5 hour instead of 8 hours. Refused to help getting in and out of the car. Extremely rude and would never recommend this driver.

First our flight was a little late arrival ,we got to Airport the directions given for meeting point was totally wrong and there really was no contact info I had to Google the company to get in contact with them its actually not a driver its a company, got to waiting point and had to wait like 15 minutes, I wasted bout 15 minutes for a location that didn't exist, we were dropped off at a restaurant location where they were trying to get us to buy stuff, when we was ready to go we had to wait for a driver bout 20-30 minutes and it wasn't the original driver the first driver didn't speak English very well so he didn't understand us , but we picked English tour driver... all being said I wouldn't recommend them to anyone alot of time was wasted waiting on driver and pick up points were not right
We engaged Ali’s services for all our airport transfers and private day tours in Istanbul, as we had concerns with taxi scams and safety. We travelled with 2 children below 7 and they really enjoyed the comfortable car rides. The cars provided were spacious, clean and well maintained. We had a amazing day in Istanbul, for us it was the first time in Istanbul. We are from the Netherlands and compared to the Netherlands the size of Istanbul is overwhelming. The driver showed us al lot of the city's cultural highlights. Would highly recommend the driver and also to go on a private trip. No worries or hassle to arrange transport. You can count on him the whole day! And the price is really good, if you arrange the trip yourself using normal taxi's, I believe in the end it's more expensive. Also he is honest! We visited the Galata tower, the Hagia Sophia, the Bleu Mosque, the Grand Bazar and some other nice viewing points along the way. His driving skills excellent! Also his personality, very enthusiastic to show you the nice places, and also answer any questions about it. Like how you should make a proper Turkish coffee. And he also has humor. The car was a luxury equipped Mercedes van, end spotless clean! Free water bottles were provided. En on the long distances we could even watch a netflix movie. Our driver Ali, was great! He took us to a few extra places that were on our way to the places I had chosen to visit. Our dinner location I had picked had an event going on so we were unable to go but Ali had suggested another restaurant and it was probably better with an amazing view of the Bosphorus. On our last day in Istanbul, we got an 8-hour private driver, Ali, to bring us around before our 8 pm flight back home. Ali has a warm, humorous and bubbly personality which left a very memorable experience for us through his interesting sharing about the lovely places in Istanbul. He has a deep familiarity of the places in Istanbul that he gave many good tips and suggestions so that we could plan the route optimally during the limited time and arrive at the airport in time for our flight. During that 8 hours, we managed to squeeze our last-minute shopping at the Spice Bazaar, explored the colourful Balat and Miniaturk, visited the Eyup Sultan and Ortakoy mosques before tucking into Kumpir, the baked potato delicacy. We had a smooth ride to the airport coupled with a special movie screening in the vehicle. Such special touches of great service that you will get with Ali of Cool Travel Istanbul. Ali was amazing and so friendly. You can plan your itinerary or work alongside with Ali to help plan your day out. The traffic is horrible so he knows when and where to go to avoid traffic. We planned our day from 11am-7:30pm We did the following: 1) Spice Bazaar 2) Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topaki Palace- all in one area. He will drop you off here. 3) Balat (colorful area) 4) Galata Tower (30 euros) (very nice area with lots of cafes). 5) Taksim area Tips: lots of walking, if you plan to tour the actual sites, the sites may charge. The day can be long so be prepared as to what you want to see. My husband and I wanted to just see the sites from outside. We didn’t actually go inside any site (only Blue Mosque).
