Ottoman Traditional Turkish Hamam Program - In Taksim

Overall, it was a very relaxing and peaceful hamam experience and a great way to experience a traditional Turkish bath. The experience included pick-up and drop-off and started with a face mask, followed by a salt room, dry and wet sauna, hamam, optional swimming pool, and complimentary tea. The hamam itself was very good, with sufficient time for the cleaning and bathing process, and everything was handled hygienically. I especially appreciated that the staff made sure the items were cleaned between customers. Everything was explained clearly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, including the front desk lady, the gentleman working there, the driver, and the ladies providing the bath. They can also accommodate separate bathing for men and women or allow them to experience it together, depending on preference. On the downside, check-in was fairly slow as they spent significant time trying to locate our reservation, apparently due to a system error, although it was eventually resolved. I also found the 15-minute sauna sessions a little too long and think 10 minutes would be sufficient. The swimming pool is quite small, so I would not recommend planning this experience specifically for swimming. The car was also a little small for our large group, but that was understandable since we had changed our scheduled time.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting this spa, and it was a truly exceptional experience. The Hamam spa treatment was the highlight of our visit – incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating, leaving us both feeling refreshed and renewed. The warm, steamy environment, combined with the thorough exfoliation and cleansing, made it a unique and luxurious experience. Although we only spent a couple of hours there, the pick-up and drop-off service was extremely convenient, taking all the hassle out of getting to and from the spa. The staff and therapists were attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, ensuring we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout our treatment. Their attention to detail and friendly nature added a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. We would highly recommend this spa to any couple looking for a perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and seamless service. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

First off, I never received confirmation from either Viator or the vender about my pick up location and time of appointment. Secondly, after arriving at the destination, the people working the counter, after showing them my ticket for entry, did not know what package I actually paid for. One of the workers called their boss and was told I paid for $125.00 spa package. After, getting all the treatments and ready to leave, they tell me what I paid for is less than the spa package I received. I ended up paying an additional $63.00 dollars (US).

The hammam is located in the hotel's basement. It's a small, unkempt space with tiny changing rooms, barely room to turn around. The exfoliation itself is done with a rough mitten containing what appears to be moth or clay residue... It's simply disrespectful to use a hammam in such conditions.

Absolutely worth the experience. Devika gave me the best cleansing ever. She was both gentle and exerted pressure. It give a royalty feel. Loved it. And the overall service was fantastic

We came as a couple and we had an amazing time. Service is very good. Staff is very friendly and professional. The place is new and well maintained. I would highly recommend for a visit .

I'm come with my friend it's was my fist time of hamam and got the deluxe o w it's was amazing the fome te scrub and the réflexologie massage was amazing I recommend if you want to enjoy your trip in Istanbul you should got the hamam experience in ottoman spa 😉

My sister and I booked this Hamam and we did not regret it. The staff was courteous and very engaging. The complimentary coffee/tea and snack was a beautiful touch. We’ll be back again the next time we come back to Turkey.

Hard to find, but I found them in the Nova Plaza Hotel and I’m glad I did. This was my first experience with a Turkish bath and hamman. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I can say that it exceeded my expectations in every way. It started with my host, who right away made me feel welcome and explained what to expect. At that point the journey to Heaven started. I was pampered each step of the way. By the end, I was in as relaxed and peaceful state as I have been in years. I don’t usually make recommendations, but I felt compelled to do so here and I can’t recommend them enough. The ultimate treat and I will be back again!

Wow! What a wonderful experience from start to finish! I began with a lovely swim then sauna and steam. The hamam was a comforting experience and I felt so clean. My massage and reflexology was superb. I feel fantastic! The hospitality was excellent and I wish I could visit every week.

Found this jewel of a place in the Old Town Istanbul. The spa is actually located inside one of the hotels. I booked last moment and they even sent a driver to collect me. I booked a hamam and upon arrival I also added on a massage which I paid for locally. The staff are very hospitable, offering drinks, towels, slippers and bath robes. My massage was exactly what I asked for and there wasn’t one fault. I spend a bit of time in Istanbul so I will be sure to come back.

You MUST visit the Ottoman Hamam & Spa…the BEST massage we’ve ever had…and we are over 60 years old! Great service, great value and did I mention…the BEST massage!

My wife and I chose this hammam after reading the excellent reviews, and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the spa felt clean and welcoming, with incredibly friendly staff. We opted for the Sultan VIP program, which included the sauna, steam room, peeling scrub, foam massage, hand scrub, and a face mask. Every treatment by Kamala and Nisha was fantastic, and the massage was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. Afterwards, the lovely Selma looked after us with tea and coffee, which was a wonderful touch. Overall, we spent two relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable hours here, all at a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely return on our next visit to Istanbul.

It was extremely busy even with a reservation, i ended up having to pay for more there as this one didn’t cover much for a great experience, i felt rushed and would recommend finding a different hamman location , but the massage and bath was amazing!

Went for a relaxing 25th wedding anniversary… The perfect place. We had the regular treatment plus facial and hand scrub. The experience was amazing! The staff was courteous. Pick up and drop off from the hotel. Nice cake and tea treats to top off!

As my very first experience in Turkish Hamman I was very surprised and impressed. It brought back memories of my childhood and my Massuse was so good that if had more time here I would definitely return. Leaving here feeling refreshed, relaxed and atleast my body weight lighter. The Turkish bath experience was unique in Hamam Osman, from the reception to the masseurs, everything was wonderful. We were provided with all our needs from underwear to shoes. Then we started with the sauna and then the Turkish bath, which was amazing with the soap massage and big foam. After the bath, we took a ten-minute break, drank refreshing cold juice and entered the massage room for 45 minutes. It was one of the best experiences of my life, all this for only 100 euros. I recommend it to everyone, it is reasonable in terms of price and excellent in terms of service.

Hi everyone this Turkish bath is located in the heart of taksim off the city square you’ll find this lil quaint Turkish bath original family owned. Helped us work off the jet lag and reset and regulate our body temperature. Relaxing out toxins through wash with lufa and wash with natural mudd. The program includes face mask and it’s lasts long enough to keep you satisfied. It’s intimate environments is great for couples or best friends and it’s beautiful all over.

The driver was kind and professional. However— as another reviewer mentioned a couple of months ago— the steam room was not working. The massage AND foam bath lasted about 7 minutes. I was in an out of the bath area in under 10 minutes. The snacks, tea and juice were good and the attendant was friendly and professional. Because the steam room wasn’t working, they gave me a makeshift facial in the waiting anrea and I had to wash off the mud mask myself. Also, pool was not available or offered.
