This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Sema, was truly gifted and incredibly knowledgeable. Having lived in Istanbul her entire life, she provided a unique perspective on the city’s history and culture that we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. The tour was well-balanced and never felt rushed. We had plenty of time to take in the sights, along with some personal time to explore at our own pace. Istanbul is an incredible city, and without a guide like Sema, we would have missed so much. Before the tour, communication with Sema via WhatsApp was excellent. She clearly coordinated our pickup and meeting details, which made the start of the day completely stress-free. This was our first visit to Istanbul, and Sema made it truly enjoyable—so much so that we’re already planning to come back. Thank you, Sema, for such a wonderful experience!

Sabit was an excellent guide, providing a great tour of the old city. We were very pleased with our tour and would recommend his services to others.
Flexible tour and great tour guide. Family enjoyed it very much. Learned a lot of history, interesting information on Turkey. A must tour.
Mehmet was a great guide. We covered an enormous amount of Istanbul in 2days. Tried Turkisk coffee. Got great scenic views . Saw all historic sites. English excellent.
Our tour guide was Sabit Kara. He took us around Istanbul for 2 full days. He was absolutely amazing! Extremely knowledgeable of landmarks and the city history. He took us to wonderful places to eat (the local eateries not tourist traps) and all the landmarks we asked to see, all while being personable and very accommodating. He also helped us negotiate the art of bartering on our local purchases and guided us in the right direction! He is definitely the friend that we never knew we had in Istanbul.
The guide was knowledgeable but rushed us through the key sights on the first day. He turned up late on both days and we had to be forceful about spending more time at some of the sights on day two. He was pleasant to deal with but I think not really interested in his job anymore. Also the prices for tourists to enter the sights is exorbitantly high which made it a very pricey experience overall!
it was truly an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was professionally organized, punctual, and personalized to our interests. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history and culture of Istanbul. We visited all the must-see landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar — each stop came alive with fascinating stories and local insights. The transportation was clean and comfortable, and the itinerary was perfectly balanced, giving us enough time to explore without ever feeling rushed. They even included some hidden gems and local food stops that made the experience extra special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul — whether it’s your first time or you’re returning for more, this tour will help you see the city in a whole new light. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
We had an amazing 2-day tour in Istanbul with Ali as our guide! He took us to all the most famous attractions – including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, and the incredible Basilica Cistern. Each stop was well-planned and full of fascinating stories and insights. Ali was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He was especially great with kids – very patient, engaging, and made sure even the younger ones had fun and stayed interested throughout the tour. He also went above and beyond by recommending a fantastic place for traditional Turkish breakfast, which turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Istanbul. Highly recommend Ali if you’re looking for a well-organized, fun, and family-friendly tour of Istanbul!
We had a great 2 day tour with Sabit as well as the private driver who accompanied us. We saw all the sights we wanted to and it was fully customizable to see as much or little as we wanted. Sabit also had great recommendations for local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Our driver on Day 1 was fantastic and very accommodating, following us throughout the day and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Matt’s friendliness, passion, and patient explanations made the trip both informative and enjoyable. Our guide Ege did a great job showing us the main attractions in Istanbul. His knowledge was detailed and he told many interesting stories along the way. Did things at our desired pace.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Ozkan. Over the course of 2 days we covered most sites of historical significance in old and new European parts of Istanbul. We liked it so much that we asked Ozkan for a 3rd day and take us to the Asian side as well. He is very knowledgeable, passionate about Turkish history and eager to share it with tourists. His English is so good, i thought he must have studied in the USA.
We did a 2 full day custom tour with Zeliha Hanim. Before arriving, we had sent a list of all the places we wanted to visit and they accommodated our request. Zeliha was so sweet, funny and knowledgeable. She was able to explain everything in detail and take great care of us. I cannot recommend their services. I had debated booking through the other companies that were double the price but I am so glad that we went with istanbultourmatt. We did the walking tour without car but taking the bus and metros was great so no need to book a car. Do not think twice and book this private tour.

We had a fantastic two-day tour of Istanbul with Ali as our guide. Thanks to Ali's savvy planning, we covered much ground in a limited amount of time, visiting many well-known tourist sites, as well as hidden gems of this fascinating city. A teacher by profession, Ali sparked our interest in Turkish culture and history, leading us to learn more (upon our return home) about such amazing figures as the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan, and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founding father of the Republic of Turkey. Ali also took great pictures for us, helping us memorialize our trip to this unique city. We highly recommend the tour. It’s well worth it!

We had an absolute incredible time here in Istanbul. Our guides name was Burak and he was one of the most incredible guides we have ever had. His knowledge and explanations of the city, culture, and history were fantastic. There is no way we could have experienced so much and learned just as much without his help. I would without a doubt utilize his services again should I return to Istanbul. Out of 5 stars I would give him 100 stars.
