Istanbul: Sultanahmet, Blue Mosque, And Hippodrome Walking Tour

Horrendous customer service. No one will reply to emails…. They take 5 days to reply to a simple request on Whatsapp….. extremely frustrating

Batuhan was a good guide. He let the tour progress at our own pace. Family enjoyed the tour.

Both the tour and the guide are amazing. In the morning the guide arrived about 15 minutes earlier and the company messaged me via WhatsApp about the arrival of the guide. The guide’s name is CAN. He is a very friendly, professional guide. After our tour ended he has spent a few more minutes walking me to the entrance of my the next place I planned to visit and then said goodbye to me.

Great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable. There was a long line to get into Basilica Cistern but with a tour guide we were able to go right in through a separate line. Went at 13:30.

The whole experience with Tourmania was excellent . I booked online and immediately received email confirmation as well as communication via WhatsApp to guide me. We were only 7 in the group and our guide, Ece, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. She answered any questions and was very patient with the group! Top experience!

Very good tour & guide was excellent, very knowledgeable & answered all questions. Blue mosque in my opinion is a must. Hagia Sophia was good to see & history was amazing. Basilica Cisterns very good but in my humble opinion as beautiful that it is it does not take very long as just a walk around was done in 20mins max but a must see.

Our guide Jon was great. I went early in the morning and in the off season so the crowd level was low. Good experience and friendly guide.

My family and I just finished this tour with Hussain who was absolutely excellent. We are a family of 5 with three kids and he managed to keep them all engaged and asking questions. The sights are beautiful but it is always great to hear the history as well. We truly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this tour and Hussain (an added bonus is the not standing in line part!)

Our guide, John, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Just a great and interesting guy to be with. The group size of only 3 people allowed us to make the most of this experience. Both Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are incredibly beautiful in their own unique way and the sunken palace was very special and felt almost magical to be in.

Highly recommend this tour. 3 hours for the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. Our guide Emre was excellent - knowledgeable, friendly and humourous. We learned a lot! The Blue Mosque is stunning, the Hagia Sophia has a fascinating history (note - it’s much plainer than the Blue Mosque and undergoing a 50 year refurbishment so lots of scaffolding) and the Basilica Cistern a prime example of how utility can be beautiful.

This is a great way to see some of Istanbul’s main attractions and learn about the culture and history. The guide was very knowledgeable.

Huseyin, our personable tour guide, clearly has a wealth of knowledge relating to Istanbul’s historic landmarks. I also appreciated the enthusiasm with which he conducted the tour, which included the Hippodrome, the Sultan Ahmet mosque, and Hagia Sophia.

Guide was very knowledgeable without being over talkative. She gave a great amount of detail about each place and showed many things we would have missed had we gone without a guide. Great experience!
