Sercan (sp) was an amazing guide. Highest recommendation plus! We saw so much in one day. We especially enjoyed the wealth of historic and cultural information shared in a most engaging manner. He listened to our requests and adapted the tour accordingly. I highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing day in Istanbul thanks to Sercan. He met us at the port and took us around all the places we wanted to see. Landing in a big city can be overwhelming but with his guidance and knowledge it was such a fun and memorable day. If you want to have a wonderful experience this is the tour and Secran is your guy!!

Omg it was amazing. Mert our tour guide made our day extra special. He met us right as we exited the terminal. He went over our days activities with us which included all of the things we wanted to see plus more. He took us to a wonderful local restaurant which had the best food i have had on this trip. The pizza was so yummy and i couldn’t figure out what was making it different. He told us they melt butter on the crust. We also had the best marinated olives with walnuts and pomegranate, so good. He knew more about the history of his country than any tour guide i have experienced. We were two senior ladies 78 and 81 and he allowed us time to rest as necessary. He walked us back to our ship (shared his umbrella) and made our day in Istanbul perfect. We were so fortunate to have him as our guide. Well worth the money!

This was a superb way to spend several hours. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about each place we visited and told us interesting historical facts and lesser known stories. She also took us to a lovely courtyard restaurant for a coffee break. Where we were allowed by the site (not all sites allow guided groups to immediately enter), we entered with only a few minutes wait. Our guide knew where and how to take the best photos. She even gave us a great recommendation for a place to try Raki. I absolutely would recommend this tour to friends and family!

We really enjoyed our private tour guide Pinar ! We were able to see the Hagia Sophia and the beautiful Blue Mosque. She helped us navigate and was very knowledgeable about history. She was able to customize our tour and led us to a wonderful Michelin restaurant close by! We enjoyed a wonderful meal and then headed on to shop some jewelry and rugs and on to the Grand Bazaar. I highly recommend her.

Evrim was a fantastic guide, she massively enhanced our experience of a wonderful city. We saw so much and she balanced the day very well and even recommended a great place for lunch. Gulbin was an excellent guide met us at the port and took us by tram to the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, the Cisterns and Topaki Pakace. Gulbin was really informative and ensured that we visited all places of interest and came away with a better understanding of Turkish history. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul thank you for a wonderful day.

This tour covered all the historical sites and our guide Emre was very knowledgeable about Istanbul’s history. It was a lot of walking but our guide was very attentive to our needs and desires.

Sercan Mert our guide was superb. He listened to what we wanted to do and adapted for us. He picked us up from the hotel on time and we walked to the blue mosque area. His English was excellent and he was able to answer all of our questions. Fast track meant we could beat the queues and have more time inside. He deftly managed the crowded area. He also recommended a restaurant where we had a good meal on the way back. Ask for him, he made the tour interesting, relevant and fun.

We had a great day exploring Istanbul with Erdem! He was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to get along with, sharing fascinating history without making the tour feel like a lecture. We visited Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Sultanahmet Square and Nuruosmaniye Mosque. Erdem was patient and gave us plenty of time to explore and take photos. The Grand Bazaar was closed because it was Sunday, but when he learned we were interested in leather shopping, he took us to a similar leather factory shop instead. It was a thoughtful alternative and showed how flexible and attentive he was. The private tour felt relaxed and personalised. Erdem made our first visit to Istanbul memorable, and we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable local guide.

Our Guide Erdem was very knowledgeable and made the experience interesting. He was very patient in explaining to us the history and culture of the country as well as the places we visited, and he was ever ready to answer all our queries. We got to visit all the places we wanted despite the crowd and Erdem made everything smooth. He even brought us to a nice restaurant where we had wonderful food and good service. We had an absolutely fantastic time with Ayse. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts as we drove through Istanbul. She made it amazing by taking us to a Mosque that was near the Grand Bazaar so we could experience both, a Turkish Bath (Hurrem Sultan Hamami) for which was I was a bit nervous. Ayse made me feel comfortable about going, I’m so grateful she did! She even took us to a restaurant rooftop to feed birds! So many wonderful memories!! We look forward to going back to beautiful Istanbul, hopefully we will be able to get Ayse as our guide again!
