Istanbul Private Cruise Port To City Hotel Transfer

Nice car, polite driver but he was 15 minutes late which made us anxious we had misunderstood the pickup point, which was not the cruise terminal but a hotel across the street.

Once we found the pick up point the travel was fine. There was another couple but they ended up on the wrong shuttle. Once this was corrected the transfer was fine.

<p>This was not a good experience for us, although we met our driver at the port and made the drive to our hotel, when we were at the bottom of the street accessing our hotel, the driver pulled over and told us we had to walk the rest of the way. He had called our hotel, and a young lady from the hotel came to meet us.<br/> This street was cobblestones and very steep so was very difficult for us to manage our luggage to the top of the street and our hotel. This was not what we expected and certainly not acceptable although we had no choice.</p>

<p>Very good. We were told to look for a sign and were quickly taken to our private transport and directly taken to our hotel.</p>

<p>The good stuff first. The shuttle was extremely comfortable, luxurious, and clean, the driver neat and polite. Given the short distance to the hotel from the cruise ship terminal it was very pricey, we would have done better with two cabs for the 5 of us.</p>

<p>The guide was on-time, the transportation was excellent, and his knowledge of the history, architecture, and culture was unparalleled. He adjusted the schedule based on the crowds, and as a result our wait times were minimal at all sites. Great experience for a group traveling to Istanbul for the first time!</p>

<p>On this one he came late I had to call. When we went to hotel was stopped by police spend around 20 minutes arguing and after never gave an explanation. I believe no English. They advertise English speaking drivers. Used them 3 times aside from the group at the Airport that waited for our lTe plane the others had very little English</p>

<p>Very accommodating! We left the ship one hour early then expected and had to wait only 10 minutes for transfer!</p>

<p>This transfer could have been made easier by providing a contact number for weekend transfers rather than a answering machine. The transfer itself was smooth, efficient and safe</p>

<p>An hour wait to finally find the right van shuttle which could not park close to the ship when I disembarked. But, at least they showed up...eventually...</p>

<p>We would not have found the tour man without help from a local. There was no sign with our last name so we had no idea where to go.</p>

<p>Took a few minutes for the driver (in a Sprinter van) to arrive. Otherwise clean, comfortable, and courteous. Had to look for the Viator sign to ask them to locate our driver - no sign with our name on it.</p>

<p>This transfer was far from acceptable. It was the first of two negative transfer experiences my mother and I had with the local Istanbul transfer company named Neon. They were almost 30 minutes late in picking us up at our cruise port. I previously informed Neon that we had scheduled a tour that day and needed to be picked up promptly. Not only were they late, but they had not gone through the required procedure which would have enabled the driver to pick us up in front of the location where we disembarked from the ship. My mother and I had to get a porter to bring our luggage and walk to a location where passengers could be picked up by drivers who did not obtain permission to enter the ship disembarktion area.</p>

<p>Even though we exited immigration/luggage formalities early, there was someone there to meet us and the taxi arrived exactly on time.</p>

<p>We arrived on a cruise ship, which meant there were numerous customers using Viator, The Viator rep therefore, was holding a sign with Viator on it instead of our name, but that worked just fine. On time and had problem finding him. We're ushered on to a nice van and were the only riders on it to our hotel in old Istanbul. Very efficient. The driver must not have spoken English, as he never spoke a word, but we had no problem with that. Will definitely use Viator on future trips.</p>

<p>All was well after we pointed to our names on the representatives clipboard. Although a bit chaotic we arrived at our hotel from the port with no problems.</p>

<p>The gentleman had gone to the wrong terminal, but since we were early it was ok. They were polite and efficient once we were on our way,water offered and pointed out city sights as we were driven to our hotel</p>

<p>Again the driver was there to pick the six of us up right on time.The van was very roomy and clean. Picked us up right at the dock by the ship. We were all very impressed and pleased.</p>

<p>We were greeted with a sign, picked up by a beautiful transport and taken to our hotel with no problems. I would use this service again</p>

<p>The service was excellent. The driver arrived on time and took us to our hotel. He was very polite and accommodating. The price for the private transfer was good value. We liked the service so much we later booked our transfer from the hotel to the airport with Viator.</p>

<p>This transfer from the cruise ship to the Zagreb Hotel was excellent.</p>

<p>The man who greeted us was later than desired pick up time and had a list with our name on it, but he was not holding a SIGN with our name that we could read; thus our departure from port was delayed by more than half an hour.</p>

<p>My Client - "From the ship to the hotel in Istanbul did not go so well. The day before we left the ship and while on a tour I asked our guide to call on his cell phone to confirm our pickup time and location for the pick up the next morning. The local company was called NEON. They went to a pier near another ship. I found them waiting after a walked 1/4 mile looking for them"</p>

<p>Our transportation was waiting when we disembarked from the ship. The driver and his mate were extremely helpful and courteous. On the whole it was a an excellent service. I would use your company again.</p>

<p>Excellent service and a nice large van for all 4 of us and our luggage, and great trip to the front door of our hotel!</p>

<p>I was very satisfied and impressed with the way the arrangements with Viator were handled. Everything went exactly as planned. I will definitely use Viator for future travel needs.</p>
