Our Guide, Berk, suggested an itinerary and met us at our hotel. We had never visited Istanbul before so his advice was invaluable. We had a morning of history and architecture followed by a trip to the Asian side of the city for some good tasting. He was very knowledgable about the history and culture and happy to adapt the trip when we asked to see something specific. My family are young adults and he was interesting to them.

We had an amazing layover tour with this company. Our guide took incredible care of us. He was knowledgeable telling us so much history and even taught me that ostrich eggs hang in the Blue Mosque to get rid of spiders! He constantly was making sure we were okay and seeing what else we wanted to do. When we had an issue with a purchase at the Baazar he went back and spoke to the store owners until we were happy. The actually tour is a walking and train tour which is fairly easy since things are located so closely. It was nice to stretch our legs after the plane ride. We had an incredible dinner that our tour guide chose and the store owner was so kind and made sure we tried all the local eats. I would definitely recommend this company. I felt well taken care of, safe, and in great hands!!

When we planned our trip to Switzerland flying on Turkish Airlines we couldn’t miss the opportunity to spend a few days in Istanbul en route. We didn’t want to try navigating the city on our own so we found Berk and Eternal Wonder Tours. They were able to customize a tour to meet our needs: collect us at the airport, dash us through the Grand Bazaar on the way to our hotel, spend the next day making sure we saw what we wanted to see, and then take us to the airport the next day. Istanbul is lovely, rich in history and culture… but our favorite part was when we had coffee with Berk and watched people walk by. If you’re planning a trip to Istanbul there is no need to look any further. We already miss our “son in Istanbul.”

I arranged a tour with Eternal Wonder for my layover in Istanbul. Unfortunately, my flight from Athens had technical difficulty and I connected with my guide, Mr. Burak, late, after many sites had closed. I was appreciative of the fact that he waited to connect with me well over an hour. Mr. Burak, nonetheless, gave me an excellent tour of the Blue Mosque and other sites, including one of the bazaars. We had around 9 hours between our flights and honestly didn’t expect to see so much in such a short time — but Eternal Wonder Tours made it super easy.
