Dancers are fabulous and extremely entertaining. The drummer and belle dance was over the top. All staff were present and the atmosphere perfect for the show which was also right on time.

Full on experience, intimate setting where the dancers are as passionate as the dances they perform.
This was a fantastic show, perfectly executed. The dancers were of high caliber and performed magnificently, dance after dance, non-stop for 60+ minutes. The variety was impressive and the costumes mesmerizing.I would rate this as a top attraction for anyone visiting Istanbul.
Excellent and vibrant performance. A lot of links to the Balkan countries and culture throughout centuries. A lot of southern Serbian tunes that were played from the Ottoman days… highly recommended show.
Really impressive show. Brings the culture really alive. Good dancers and professional organisation. Recommend it.
The show was wonderful, the organization was seamless, and the music was perfectly matched. Highly recommend to everyone—we would definitely book again!
What a show, it deserved a larger audience as the light applause from the small audience wasn't doing the justice the dancers deserved!
This was the highlight of our trip. The talent in this show is perfection. The theater in the round makes the experience even better.
Pros: Lots of fun costumes High-energy routines The fire fan performer/belly dancer Cool use of UV lights Spinning spinning spinning Cons: The check-in process was confusing No warning for all the fog blown at the audience and fumes from the fire The venue is very intimate, but I think the show would be better suited to a stage because a lot of the choreography didn’t cater to performance in the round. I got assigned seat 001 on the very end, and I missed a lot. Overall, I would say it’s an interesting B+ show that I would probably recommend if you want to see traditional Turkish dancing or just see a show while you’re in Istanbul. I just wish I could have chosen my seat, and I would have paid extra to do so.
Nice evening outing. Got to see various dance costumes, dance styles and music. Located very close to tons of eateries. The program was about 70 mins long. We were seated in the front row, but all the seats seemed like good seats.
spectacular show, amazing seating in a circle around the stage so everybody gets a great view of the performance. Sound and lighting were great. Kids (ages 7 and 9) loved it too.
In my personal opinion the show is too long, becoming very boring. Probably is just a tradition that I don’t like or I don’t understand enough, but for me is not a place where I would like to back
Highly recommend, a very entertaining evening of talented dance. Dancers had energy, fantastic costumes and great storytelling. The venue is authentic and professional. Highly recommend.
Beautifull show, 12 dances, each unique and culturally rich Me and my partner enjoyed everything The dancer show a lot of energy, good contact with the crowed
It was a fabulous show in terms of music, costumes, and dance performances They stared on time, letting us in about 15 minutes early to walk around and enjoy the displays which were of historical and cultural significance. The show took 1 hour and it was a very pleasant experience. Their directions were clear and it was easy to find the theatre. The performances depicted traditional dances including the swirling dervishes.
Very nice dance performance. Very energetic. A pity there was no Derwish dance in the event. I would advice to friends.
I went to this a few years ago and it was better than I remembered. It’s a great venue, with all seats close. Really good dancing, which gets better as the show progresses. They have interesting costumes and cool lighting. There is a drummer for part of the show that is excellent. A fun experience.
Wonderful experience with many cool dances. Can recommend.
great show! Great to see, especially if it is your first time in Istanbul! I loved it and went by myself and still had a great time!
Enjoyable experience with a variety of dances that kept us engaged until the very last minute! 100% recommended
Absolutely fantastic show. Highly recommended. Never seen anything like that before. TOP ! You have to see it during Istanbul vacation.
On a whim, I decided to look for an evening activity, and I’m genuinely glad I found Istanbul Hodjapasha Rhythm of The Dance Show. It ended up being one of those travel surprises that stays with you long after it’s over. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ The show is top notch and beautifully paced. It moves through folkloric dances from Anatolia, the Balkans, and the Caucasus, blended with oriental dance and modern choreography, and it never once drags. The structure keeps you engaged the entire time, and the costumes are incredible. The 360-degree projection effects add to the atmosphere without distracting from the performers. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ Every dancer is impressive, but what really stands out is the passion behind it. You can feel that this isn’t just choreography they’re executing. It means something to them. Quite honestly, for the caliber of performance, I think they are undercharging. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ Before the show, there’s also a small dance culture exhibition in the foyer, which is a nice touch and gives helpful context about what you’re about to see. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ My only piece of advice is to make the booking process clearer: if you buy tickets online, you still need to pick up a physical ticket at the venue, and that’s when you’re assigned a seat. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ One performer I have to call out specifically is the man who had a few solo performances, including one where he spun for nearly five minutes while using his clothing as a reflective prop. The way he married the music with his movements was beyond impressive, and I genuinely left that moment nearly speechless. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ I highly recommend this show. It’s moving, energetic, and memorable in the best way.
Great evening show with lots of amazing Turkish dancing! Very intimate venue which makes the experience well worth it.
Although some of dance number is too long to maintain excitement of viewer, show program was well organized with variety of different dance style. Best part of the program was live solo performance of percussion and combination of belly dance and percussion. The level of belly dancer was totally different from other tourist dance spot such as dinner cruise. I will visit agin just to see this part of the show.
Great venue, colorful costumes and great variety of talented performers. My sis snd I were amazed how enjoyable the show was even after 11 hours of flying and being up for 24 hrs.
We enjoy the show a lot, beautiful dances. The costoms were amazingly beautiful! A lot of fun! Highly recommend!
Really fun show, lots of variety, clear effort with routines, outfits, production. Great evening of entertainment in an easy to find location.
Energetic, professional dancers. Excellent choreography. This was the best show we have seen in Turkey. Do not miss it.
An evening of stunning dance and beauty with a bit of fun thrown in. Music and visuals were awesome and musicians were incredible.
Very beautiful performance. Amazing dancers. Very much enjoyed it. Venue was easy to find. Thanks !!!
Great show, we throughly enjoyed it, performance was well worth it. Only downside was seats were uncomfortable needed some cushions.
The music was way way too loud. Too many schlocky black light effects and one dance with strobe lights where I had to close my eyes as well as my ears. Also some dumb choreography. There were some dances that were based on traditional dances and those were more enjoyable. The drummers near the end were good but again way way too loud.
This show was fantastic, all the dances and dancers were phenomenal, planning to visit Istanbul again in 2 years and will definitely watch this show again. I recommend this 100%
The dancers were fantastic. What impressed me most was how effortlessly they interacted with the audience, drawing people into the rhythm and telling a story without words. Beyond belly dancing, the show included a variety of traditional Turkish folk dances, live music, and even a whirling dervish performance that added a spiritual and mystical element to the night. Each segment was well-paced, with fabulous costumes and talented performers that kept the audience fully engaged.
Hodjapasha Show – A Must-See Cultural Experience The Hodjapasha Show is truly one of the best performances we’ve experienced in Istanbul. It’s a perfect blend of professionalism, tradition, and artistic expression. From the moment the show begins, you’re drawn into a captivating journey through Turkish culture, history, and music. The dancers are exceptionally talented, and every movement feels meaningful and precise. The use of lighting and sound enhances the emotional atmosphere, making the performance even more powerful. Whether it’s the whirling dervishes or the dynamic folkloric dances, each scene is delivered with passion and authenticity. The venue itself, a beautifully restored 15th-century hamam, adds to the ambiance and gives the show an even deeper cultural connection. The seating is comfortable, and the environment is intimate, allowing you to feel close to the performance without being overwhelmed. Everything is well-organized, from ticketing to the timing of the show. The entire experience is smooth and enjoyable. We strongly recommend attending the Hodjapasha Show if you’re in Istanbul. It’s more than just entertainment—it’s a cultural experience that stays with you.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show! We purchased tickets (me and my sister) way in advance. Upon arrival at the venue, we then waited in line to get our seat assignments. There were plenty of folks in line in front of us, but by the time we got our seat assignments we were pleasantly surprised that we were in the first row. It appears that maybe they give priority to those who purchase their tickets sooner? If that's the case, would encourage to buy as soon as you know what evening will work with your itinerary. But fear not, the venue is intimate, so even the back row (I think 4th row?) should have good views. The performers were great and we loved seeing the different dances. The venue also has information about the whirling dervishes so you can look at the displays before the show starts. This was our first trip to Istanbul and we loved this cultural display. Would highly recommend!
Really spectacular show, we wanted more than just a touristic belly dance performance, and this show delivered that and more. A wide variety of different dance styles that made us feel the rich history of the area. The music, costumes and routines were stunning. We would highly recommend this experience and will go again next time we’re in Istanbul!
Fantastic experience especially the percussion group at the end. The 70 min dance show was one of my biggest highlights in my Turkey vacation! Leave alone the crappy phosphorus night shows and come with your family to this decent yet authentic and fun dance show.
Really great way to spend an hour in Istanbul. If you’re interested in a fun excursion, showcasing different styles of Turkish folk dance as well as whirling Tures then I would highly recommend this show. It’s in the old town and close all the major tourist sites. It is only an hour and relatively inexpensive and the dancing is very interesting. I would highly recommend it as a cultural experience.
Multi talent and muticultural adventure, in which music, choreography and architecture become an integrated scene of art
A very entertaining and interesting show. One of the highlights of my trip to Istanbul. Great performances by the dancers! I really enjoyed the different dance routines and colorful costumes My favorite dance was one of the solo dancers performing a hypnotizing mask routine. Never saw anything like that before, very unique. Beautiful dancers and great music. This show was fun!
A must see experience when in Istanbul. The performances were all well done and everyone was super sweet.
We saw the Rhythm of the Dance show on Thursday evening, and cannot recommend it enough - the venue (a former Hammam) is absolutely gorgeous, and there's an exhibition at the entrance about the Whirling Dervishes and Rumi which was super interesting. The dances were absolutely spectacular - a huge variety of styles of dance, including belly dancing, fire dancing, live music (with perhaps the most impressive live drumming I've ever seen) and other traditional dances. You're so close to the dancers you can feel the breeze when they wave their sashes, and the solo dance with the mask was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Pretty modern dancing, not what I expected of turkish dervish flying carpet. The performance is average, not very special. Not great, not bad. Very cheap ticket price.
I loved the venue and the welcome from staff. The dancers were excellent and I was happily surprised at the range of dances and costumes they displayed. I expected a narrow repertoire. What struck me most was the enthusiasm of the dancers and their evident passion. It was a cultural immersion into a world created from Greek, Anatolian, Persian, Balkan and other eastern tributaries. Well worth your time. Not a kitsch cabaret which one sometimes dreads when buying tickets for ' shows' Decent restaurants nearby as well. Go.
It was a great show at an intimate venue. There are maybe 300 seats in total. The lighting, music and the dance moves are well orchestrated to give the audience a wonderful 70 mins experience. The entry is quite small though, queueing at the beginning of the show can be a bit crowded. For anyone who’s interested in dance shows. I highly recommend this one.
High quality dancers with beautiful costumes in a very small theatre which meant every seat was a good seat. A good range of different dances with a small information card explaining each.
The show was ok. Nothing spectacular. If you have nothing else to do, then go and watch. But not a must see.
The dancers showcased not only incredible technical skill but also an emotional depth that brought every movement to life. Perfect duration!
The show was fab. A real selection of Turkish dances. I especially loved the swirling high tempo male dancer. Amazing cool wee venue too!!
