I went on a family holiday and Oguzhan was an amazing tour guide, he was funny, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole tour! He managed to make our experience enjoyable from start to finish and created a lovely atmosphere that made everyone comfortable. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a good time and he was very knowledgeable. It was well priced and it didn’t feel rushed for the amount of time we spent. We were in a comfortable size group that made the experience enjoyable and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend and would book again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was initially hesitant about a full day tour but I decided last minute to book one. I’m so glad I did. It was incredible not only because of the sites but the tour guide, Ozzy. I’ve never had a tour guide who knew as much about history. He is not just knowledgeable but has a true passion for both history and culture. He is extremely personable and easy to chat with and able to answer any conceivable question you could come up with. In fact I used ChatGPT to help me decide which tour to take and this tour was its first recommendation. He even help me take better pictures than I would have on my own. There’s no comparison with a self guided tour and one with Ozzy. Worth every penny.
I was a little hesitant about taking a guided tour and waited until the last minute to book one. I asked ChatGPT to recommend me a tour and this was its top result. I’m so glad because it delivered. Ozzy was my tour guide and he was amazing. He knows more about history than any tour guide ive ever had. He picked the perfect itinerary for my schedule and was so great to spend the day with. You will not go wrong with this tour if you want to get the most out of one day in Istanbul. He also will help you take amazing pictures to share with your friends and family. The day went by in a flash.
This was a wonderful tour. Small group tours are the best and our guide, Buket, was incredible. She spoke nearly perfect English and was able to answer every question we had, obviously very well prepared. The pace was not too fast but never boring. Highly Recommended
Oğuzhan (Ozzy) was our guide for this great tour of the historic Sultanahmet district. The mosques are incredible with their grandeur and history, and the cistern is absolutely fascinating. As much as we appreciate the history, Ozzy's discussions about the culture surrounding this history was the greatest highlight, probably of our entire Turkish vacation. Ozzy obviously cares deeply about his country, and in helping others understand what it is all about. Our discussions, not only at the sights but while walking and over tea and a meal, are the memories we'll most cherish for years to come. Ozzy, we will certainly drink a glass of wine and remember our day with you! Thank you so very much!
This tour is very interesting. Our tour guide Alman is amazing. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We enjoyed the tour from beginning to end. Alman told us many wonderful stories about the history and culture of Istanbul. We highly recommend this tour to everyone.
Alman Çeşmesi Is wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We heard lots of great stories along the way. Most importantly he took care of us during the entire tour. This tour is a great way to learn about Istanbul history and culture. Highly recommended.
Oguzhan is an incredible tour guide! He gave us a very personalized tour, telling us all about the history and culture of Istanbul, the Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterns, Blue Mosque and more! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, interesting person and I can't recommend him enough as a guide.
What a great day we've spend with our guide in Istanbul many thanks to Mr ozzy Sites were amazing and having someone to bring this to life were absolutely delightful. All included fees and tickets been arranged in advance saved time for the day, highly recommend
Ozzy our guide really made the experience exceptional. His personal approach kept everything interesting. All questions welcomed and we were taken through everything. Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque were beautiful and full of history. The cisterns were found by a fisherman in a way. It was made by recycling pillar parts from earlier versions of other structures like Hagia Sofia. Lunch, clay craft and weaving. Best way to spend the day.
This tour was the best way to kick of my 1st Istanbul experience. Umut, our tour guide was well spoken, funny and told all the history in an interesting way. Having ear pieces were a great add on to ensure you dont miss the info. These sites are my Top 3 to Istanbul and make sure you include the Basilica Cistern, its a must see!! Umut also gave great recommendations for restaurants at the end of our tour. Such an amazing tour guide!
My family had a fantastic tour with Oguzhan. We lucked out and our group tour turned into a private tour since my family were the only ones. That being said, he is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and the specific sights. He pointed out so many small details in the Hagia Sophia that would've otherwise been missed if we did a self-tour. He's also has a great eye for photography and took so many beautiful family photos for us. I would highly recommend him to anyone going to Turkey.
A brilliant day touring and learning about the fascinating city that is Old Town Istanbul. So many interesting places and people. Oguzhan was the best guide - so knowledgeable, polite and an excellent photographer! Highly recommend this tour.
Our guide, Oguzhan, was extremely knowledgeable and offered very informative and clear descriptions of what we were seeing. It was a very hot day and he was always very aware of that and our limits ma king sure we were rested and hydrated. The cafe where he took us for lunch was very good and even though we were staying at a five star hotel, this cafe’s food was superior. Any time you have an opportunity to have this delightful young man as your guide, take it!
What a wonderful tour. We were so fortunate to have Oguzhan as our guide. His knowledge is phenomenal. Although we've been to Istanbul before we felt that Oguzhan's commentary gave us a special insight to its history. He is a also a very enthusiastic and kind person who was a pleasure to be with.
If you’re visiting Istanbul, I can’t recommend Oguzgan enough. An incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and friendly tour guide who brought the city’s history and culture to life. Every question was answered with enthusiasm, and we discovered so many hidden gems we would have completely missed on our own. Without a doubt, it was the best money we spent during our trip. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!
Really informative tour. My guide, Oguzhan was extremely detailed and had a ton of info to share. Very personable. You dont stay in any one place for too long, and get to see a lot of the most popular tourist places in Old Town. I did this tour my first day and it was a great way to learn the history and see all major sites in the area.
I had very little time to spend in Istanbul on a recent trip in May. I hired Buket as a private guide to help me see a few sites one morning before my plane departure that afternoon. She picked me up promptly at my hotel (Vogue Hotel Supreme) and we travelled on foot. She was outstanding and is very knowledgeable about the history and stories surrounding the sites. Buket is friendly and easy to engage in conversation. She planned the tour perfectly and got me back to my hotel to easily catch a ride to the airport. Somehow, she managed to help me squeeze in Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sohpia in the limited time that I had. She also added the Blue Mosque, which was not on the original itinerary but nearby, for which I’m grateful. I highly recommend Buket as a guide in Istanbul.
Mustafa was highly recommended to me by a friend who had recently been in Istanbul. Thus, I hired him for a day. I had a limited amount of time and was traveling solo. I was staying at a hotel near many of the sights, at the Vogue Hotel Supreme. Mustafa picked me up on time directly from the hotel at the beginning of the tour. Having Mustafa as a private guide made the sightseeing efficient and enjoyable, because I didn’t have to waste time determining how to navigate from one place to another. He also timed the visits to avoid lines. We travelled on foot and by tram to the different sights: Bosphorus Cruise, Dolmabahçe Palace, Taksim Square, İstiklal Street, and Karaköy. Mustafa is friendly, informative, and highly knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited. He easily engages in conversation. It was a pleasure getting to know him. He also gave me the space and time to explore on my own. At the end of the tour, he took me to an excellent restaurant off the beaten track and offered comments on different foods that were new to me. He went well beyond the call of duty. As we were organizing the tour, I had many questions to which he responded quickly. I had specific requests that he creatively built into the itinerary. He had a good sense for what I was interested in seeing and learning. There was a half of a day before my flight home for which I wanted to hire him a second time. Although he had already been hired by someone else, he went out of his way to identify another excellent guide who was available. His colleague was very impressive, and I had a wonderful experience despite the short length of that tour. Like my friend before me, I highly recommend Mustafa as a guide in Istanbul.
Our guide (Ozzy) was fantastic!!! Very knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. He has a deep knowledge of history, architecture, art and culture. Izzy’s English is also perfect and the use of the earpiece listening devices made the one day tour of these amazing sites even better, especially in crowded areas I was traveling alone but would love to have Ozzy guide me and my wife when we travel through Istanbul together in a few years
A great walking tour and our guide Oguzhan was simply the best! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about his subject that he brought the buildings and history to life and made the tour really interesting, informative and fun! The lunch stop was excellent too. Would definitely recommend.
Our guide, Ozzie, was extremely knowledgeable providing information about the history of Istanbul in great depth and detail. He was friendly and personable as well as professional and we had fun spending the day with him seeing the wealth of sites that Istanbul has to offer. Also being an artist, Ozzie composed some great photos for us to remind us of the beauty of Istanbul.
Ozzy was great! This guy knows his history. Every place we went along the tour was a great time. Highly recommended. Super friendly and all around fun time. 100% recommended. 🙏👍
Our guided tour of Istanbul with Oguzhan will no doubt be a highlight of our trip - one of the best we have ever been on. His deep knowledge of the historic sites and genuine passion for the city truly brought the experience to life. Oguzhan went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt comfortable throughout the day. If you are traveling to Istanbul, booking this tour is an absolute must. We walked away with so much fascinating history and memories of an awesome day. Thank you! 😊
A licensed guide takes you to the described itinerary in an intimate manner describing not only what you see, but also its’ historical context and relevance. There is no better way to experience these remarkable sites.
This is definitely one of the best tour that I have ever been to. The highlight is clearly our tour guide Emre. He is very passionate and very knowledgeable. He is very friendly and we have a lot of exchange in ideas and all our questions were answered thoroughly. The pace of the tour was managed very well and we really don't have anything to complain about him.
We have traveled to over 30 countries and Ozzie is by far the most knowledgeable guide we have ever had. He gave us so much history and information. He knew so many facts about all the places we visited. His knowledge is incredible and admired. He is also very friendly and made the day a lot of fun.
First trip to Istanbul and it was absolutely memorable. Our guide Oguzhan, aka Ozzy, is one of the best tour guides I have ever come across. Simply put the man was a wealth of information. He was so informative, from the history to art, culture, and language it felt as though I was getting a master class led by a distinguished professor. Throughout the entire day, there was never a dull moment. He knew the best angle for picture taking, the best places to rest, and he provided some solid locations to eat at afterwards. The pace of the tour was ideal for young and old people alike. Although the day will fly by I would recommend bringing a good pair of walking shoes. Simply put this was superb service, if you’re new to Istanbul, I highly recommend this tour.
A superb experience. Ozzy was perhaps the best tour guide we’ve had, anywhere in the world. He had a deep knowledge of Turkish history and each of the sites we visited. The itinerary and pace was perfect. If you’re interested in seeing many of Istanbul’s key sites in one day, take this tour.
Highly recommend this tour, it includes all the main sites that need to be experienced when in Istanbul when I went on it in April 2026. Our guide Buket was excellent, her knowledge on Istanbul is second to none. Not only the history and culture was covered but she gave us unique perspectives on elements of present day Turkish culture and society and was very happy to answer all questions. Very good tour guide! As I say, recommend the tour as tickets are included, plus lunch, so a very enjoyable day and you don’t have to get stressed with any of the logistics - just enjoy the sites!
Very detailed and informative tour which was explained in a precise chronological order detailing the infuences of each empire that ruled and the traces they left in the city
If you’re visiting Istanbul, this tour is an absolute must, covering iconic highlights like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the stunning underground cisterns—but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Aishe. She is incredibly knowledgeable, especially about the history of Hagia Sophia and the cisterns, and has a wonderful way of bringing the past to life through engaging stories rather than just facts. Her passion really shines through and makes the entire tour so much more meaningful. What set this experience apart were the thoughtful extras she included, like a fascinating visit to a traditional carpet-making workshop where we learned about the craftsmanship behind this art, and a hidden gem of a coffee house tucked away in a peaceful, secluded garden right next to Hagia Sophia—somewhere we would never have discovered on our own. She also shared fantastic recommendations for great restaurants and was incredibly attentive, following through on all our requests with care and professionalism. This tour was the perfect blend of history, culture, and personalized experiences, and we’re so grateful to Aishe for making our time in Istanbul truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!
We were very lucky to have spent the day with Ayse. She is incredibly knowledgeable of the rich culture, history and religion of Istanbul and surrounding areas. You can tell she really loves what she does. Highly recommend this experience and I'd encourage you to ask questions and her food recommendations! Great experience despite our jet lag ;)
Ayse was our tour guide and she is absolutely wonderful. She made our day great. She is so I informative and kind. Would do every tour with her in Istanbul if we could!
Ayse was our tour guide and she is absolutely wonderful! She is so informative and kind. Would do every tour with her in Istanbul if we could!
Great day out seeing all of the highlights in Istanbul. All entrance fees, coffee and lunch included so the price was very reasonable. Bucket, our guid was very knowledgeable and easy going and flexible to adjust to our pace. Would highly recommend.
Had a great experience with Tunç going around the important monuments in Istanbul : Hippodrome, Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, basicila cistern, bazaars, etc. The cistern has been renovated and looks spectacular- the highlight of the tour. He was very good in explaining the history and answering all our queries. The included lunch was very good. In total it was about 7 hours. Thanks Tunç for a great tour.
Great experience. Super knowledgeable guide Ozzy showed us all on the itinerary and more. There’s so much to see and after about 7 hours and there was still more. Nice tea stop and lunch made the long day not exhausting. Tours involve a lot of walking and the opportunity to sit down a couple of times was great. Everything we saw is quite compact unlike some cities and so just a short walk between the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Cistern was really easy. The extras were all also fascinating.
Great Tour and Great Guide Mr. Oguzhan. By visiting Istanbul you have to make it. Highly recommended Tour.
We had a wonderful time! Our guide was VERY knowledgeable, easy to understand, insightful as to the needs of participants and accommodating.
Kamal Aslan was our tour guide, he did an excellent job of informing us about the rich history and culture of the country and city, he was well educated and funny. The walking pace was perfect, he took great pictures of us and pointed out a lot of cool stuff
I asked our guide if she thought this was just a job or did she love history and she said that she loved history. It was evident and her ability to answer any question our group asked her. Buket was the fantastic guide because of her knowledge and enthusiasm for her culture.
Great way to see the highlights of Istanbul in a day. Our tour guide, Tunc, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and made the tour fun. He also spoke excellent English. Lunch was traditional Turkish fare but very tasty and included huge portions.
Very informative and enjoyable. We saw some of the most famous landmarks in Istanbul and learned about its history
The tour guide Ozzie did a wonderful job; great communication skills and time management and fantastic photographer. We learned so much of the Istanbul history from him and lots of details about the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia that we would have missed if we went ourselves. Highly Recommend.
Very good tour, lots if history information and time to explore / take pictures. Our guide made all the difference
Kadir was an amazing tour guide in Istanbul! He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared the city’s rich history in such an engaging and enjoyable way. His passion for Istanbul made every stop more meaningful, and his warm personality made the tour even more memorable. Highly recommend Kadir for anyone wanting to truly experience the beauty and history of Istanbul.
Sedat was very good. A wealth of information . The only reason we gave 4 was because of the hard sell at the rug store. The history part was good, but trying to force you to buy something uncalled for.
Saw the great sites and Ozzy was really informative and kept it fun at the same time. Highly recommend!
Couldn’t have been a better experience. Mustafa reached out the night before to confirm the meeting spot. Promptly at 9:00 the tour started and we visited the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Bascilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Hippodrome, AND he introduced my wife to a ceramic shop that (without a hard sell) helped her choose a beautiful memory of out visit to Istanbul
