Great walking tour around Fener and Balat with our helpful guide Yunus. It's worth visiting these neighbourhoods especially for those visiting Istanbul for the first time. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes!

I have booked the Galata Tower and Istiklal tour. Batu was our guide and he was very very helpful and he explained everything very well. We had an elderly couple too and he helped them and waited for them. Even clicked good pictures for us.

The tour indicated 3-4 hours, but was only 2 hours long. The guide did not have much information for some of the places we passed. He indicated it is difficult because Turkey has so much history, he is only there part of the time, and the tour company doesn’t have anyone else to do the tour. Enjoyed walking around and seeing some places, but mediocre at best for walking tours.

Very underwhelming and overpriced. Aldo falsely advertised. Listing says 3-4 hours but tour was only 1.5 of sightseeing. The guide was engaging and knowledgeable but the itinerary design was poor and twice the cost of what they advertised on their website. Mostly walking through side streets

BATUHAN was an amazing guide, down to earth, professional and considerate. He did everything necessary to guarantee a wonderfully informative and instructing tour. He took the tour at a wonderful pace, and made sure questions were heard and answered. My favourite part was the tour of the churches were we had an amazing tour of the history of the building.

We booked several Viator tours during our stay in Istanbul. This one wasn’t bad by any means but we could have done without it. The tour guide was nice but we really just walked up and down the streets. It ended up being only 2 hours but it’s partially our fault because we were just exhausted and probably gave the vibe that we wanted it to be done.

Our visit to Istanbul was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed exploring the city on foot, taking in the unique atmosphere where history and modern life come together. Walking through Istiklal Street was a highlight, with its lively energy, shops, cafés, and beautiful architecture. The views from the Galata Tower were spectacular, offering a breathtaking panorama of Istanbul and the Bosphorus. We also loved spending time in Karaköy, a vibrant area full of character, great food, and waterfront views. Istanbul impressed us with its rich culture, friendly people, fascinating history, and delicious cuisine. Every corner had something interesting to discover. We highly recommend Istanbul to anyone looking for a memorable travel experience and look forward to returning one day. A special thank to our local guide Beritan whose knowledge and enthusiasm made the city come alive and helped us appreciate Istanbul even more.

We had a walking tour of Istanbul with Hasan Mevdudi. The tour was absolutely amazing and wonderful. More important, Hasan was incredibly informative and a wonderful guide. He was incredibly informative. His knowledge of the city and the history of Turkey was outstanding. The tour was incredibly well tailored and we were able to visit all the important and interesting sites in the new city. I highly recommend this Tours specifically ask for Hasan

Can was our guide. He was punctual and spoke excellent English. He was knowledgeable about the city in which he grew up and took us to areas which we would most likely have missed if not on the tour. He was open to our questions and at the end of the tour he asked us about our plans and offered suggestions and restaurant recommendations. I really enjoyed the time I spent with Can and learned several new things about Istanbul.

A walking tour is definitely a must! The guide shows you little details and hidden spots that you wouldn’t normally notice unless you really know the area. It made me see the place in a completely different way. It was such a fun experience, and honestly, I just wish it lasted a bit longer so we could explore more—and maybe even learn about some local dishes too!

This tour was surely a busy one. Our guide was very friendly , helpful and knowledgeable. Although it was a long day, there was much to see and do. If you do this tour be prepared for a lot of walking. There are various breaks to rest. The mosques are amazing.

My brother and I were visiting İstanbul for the first time and wanted historical knowledge from somebody who knew the city. This tour would be best for friendd, families with teen and older children, couples, and people who don't mind climbing hills and stairs. We met Can and due to the off season and poor weather it was effectively a private tour. Can is very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable host that created a welcoming and fun atmosphere and made an effort to build a personal connection while still making sure that we got important knowledge of the history of the areas of Beyoğlu that we toured through. We met as strangers and left as friends! The price is well worth the experience and time we spent on the trip. Absolutely worth it!

Huseyin was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, taking us through the various periods of history relating to Karakoy, Pera and Beyoglu. His attention to detail was very obvious, taking us through quiet market passages and streets, whilst also helping with the needs of some of his guests along the way. This was fine. It wasn't an expensive tour, so a good value for money but much less time than I budgeted for. It was fun to take the little tram and learn more about the history of the area.

Unfortunately of 6 tours I took this was my least favorite. While I wouldn’t have minded that it didn’t last the scheduled 4 hours, it should have lasted more than the one hour it did. The guide had some knowledge but his delivery wasn’t satisfactory. I felt like I was window shopping . No depth or perspective.

Hüsetin was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had. He even introduced us to some inlstanbul delicacies! Price was fair for what we got. I would hope more is added in the future. I would take this tour again!
