Itinerary
you take a Bosphorus tour, you’ll pass many lavish and intriguing buildings, but the most opulent of them all, surely has to be the 600m long Dolmabahçe Sarayı (Dolmabahce Palace). It took 13 years to build and was completed in 1856, and served as the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire until 1922. The palace was commissioned by Sultan Abdülmecid (who decided there should be a more European palace than Topkapi) and designed by Armenian architect Karabet Balian and his son Nikoğos Balian. (read Balyan family on wikipedia). It is an ostentatious blend architectural styles including Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassical and modern Ottoman, dripping in luxury
The mosque which decorates many postcards of the city is right on the Bosphorous, in Ortaköy. It is officially called Büyük Mecidiye Camii (Grand Imperial Mosque). It was ordered to be built by Sultan Abdülmecid on the grounds of an earlier mosque. The mosque was built between 1854-1856, in neo-Baroque style. Nikoğos Balyan was the architect of the mosque, who was also the architect of the Dolmabahçe Palace. Within the mosque, there are several examples of Islamic calligraphy executed by Sultan Abdülmecid himself.
The Bosphorus Bridge is one of two bridges that spans the Bosphorus Strait, connecting the European and Asian sides of Istanbul. It stretches from Ortakoy on the European side to Beylerbeyi on the Asian side and is sometimes referred to as the First Bosphorus Bridge. At 1560 meters long, the Bosphorus Bridge was the fourth longest suspension bridge in the world when it opened in 1973 and was the first bridge to connect Europe and Asia since a bridge spanning the Dardanelles in 480 B.C. Today, it is the 21st longest suspension bridge in the world. In 2007, an LED lighting system was installed to illuminate the bridge at night and the computerized system is now used to create a colorful light show every evening. While the bridge is typically closed to pedestrians, it opens each October for the Istanbul Eurasia Marathon – the only marathon that crosses from one continent to another.
Rumelihisarı or Boğazkesen Castle is a medieval fortress located in Istanbul, on a series of hills on the European banks of the Bosphorus. The fortress also lends its name to the immediate neighborhood around it in the city's Sarıyer district.
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, also known as the Second Bosphorus Bridge, spanning the Bosphorus strait. It is named after the 15th century Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, who conquered Istanbul in 1453 and ended the Byzantine Empire. The bridge was designed by Freeman Fox & Partners, who had previously also designed the Bosphorus Bridge. An international consortium of three Japanese companies, one Italian and one Turkish company carried out the construction works. The bridge was completed on July 3, 1988 and opened by Prime Minister Turgut Özal who drove his official car by himself as the first to pass. The cost of the bridge amounted to USD 130 million.
Beylerbeyi meaning "Lord of Lords", is located in the Beylerbeyi neighbourhood of Üsküdar district in Istanbul, at the Asian side of the Bosphorus. An Imperial Ottoman summer residence built in the 1860s, it is now situated immediately north of the 1973 Bosphorus Bridge.
The Maiden's Tower, also known as Leander's Tower since the medieval Byzantine period, is a tower lying on a small islet located at the southern entrance of the Bosphorus strait 200 m from the coast of Üsküdar in Istanbul.

thank you so much. I was offered a very good price and service. The shows and music were fantastic. We had a very enjoyable evening.
I booked a tour that was advertised as “all-inclusive,” but it was far from it. The food was poor and nowhere near what was promised, and the entertainment was disappointing and low quality. I had high expectations, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. I do not recommend this tour at all.
The dinner cruise on the Bosphorus was absolutely unforgettable. The view was stunning the food was delicious, and the dance performances were simply mesmerizing. The crew was very attentive, and everything felt so well-organized. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Istanbul
Food extremely bad, music way too loud we couldn’t even speak, the environment was not good, air conditioning not useful was way too hot inside. at least they pick and drop us off.
Great Evening on Bosphorous - nice spread for Dinner, lovely show with great performances exhibiting local culture and nice vibes.
The window seats allow you to enjoy the view of the river and the isle seats allow you to have a clear view of the entertainment, but if you are seated in the middle of the table then you are at a big disadvantage as you don’t have a clear view of the river or the entertainment. The entertainment itself was ok. The food was very disappointing, you are not given a menu, you are just asked if you want ‘meat or fish’. The fish option arrived first but it took between 30 - 45 mins for the meat to arrive, so if you chose fish and your partner chose meat, you could not enjoy your meal together. Then to make things worse, the portion size was clearly insufficient for a fully grown adult. This is not just my opinion many people on the boat were commenting on how disappointed they were with the main course. I wish I had taken a photos to illustrate my point. I guess the boat operator’s strategy was to fill everyone up with bread and dips. In regards to drinks, we were given an option of 1 glass of Coke, Fanta or Sprite and then shortly after we were given a small bottle of water. Considering we were on the boat for nearly 4 hours this was also clearly insufficient. My partner had to complain to get another glass of coke. To summarise…our opinion is that the entertainment was ok but the food and drinks was very disappointing. Overall not very good value for money.
Great ambiance, good transportation from hotel to boat, great server Hassan. We had so much fun. Would recommend
My partner and I wished to spend our last night in turkey on an evening dinner boat ride. We researched on trip advisor and all search engines and came across this one amongst a few other highly rated evening cruises. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! I don’t normally leave a review but honestly, please do not listen to previous reviews as I personally think they are fake or fixed. The service was terrible. The food was absolutely disgusting - for starters, we had a selection of “Mezze” that can only be described as off date food with stale bread. Before dinner, there was a very random single chicken nugget with a single potato croquet (tater tot) which tasted raw. I seriously don’t know what the need for it really was. We had the drinks package with limited selection, we initially had a gin and tonic which came in a very small glass and tasted alcohol-less. It only got worse with the dinner (selection of fish, meatballs, chicken, veg pasta)……we opted for the chicken and my partner for the fish. The chicken was an under cooked with no real flavour and the fish was rubbery. The couple sitting in front of us opted for vegetarian (she ate one piece of pasta and left the rest). The best thing of the entire food was the rice! I am writing this review whilst I am on the cruise! It is your choice if you wish to believe it or not but my advice is to not waste your money and time and choose something else.
The cruise was so entertaining and the performers did an amazing job too ! However, one of the waiters apparently seemed really annoyed at my big tip to one of the dancers and was forcing me to give him money too ! At first I thought he was joking but he openly said that he wanted money too . I began to ignore him and while leaving the boat he was cussing at me ! Shocked by this weird behavior.
A great cruise with dinner, beautiful views and entertainment. A great way to spend an pleasant evening in Istanbul. Highly recommend!
The boat was departing at 9, while the ticket said 7:30. The shows were nice. The food was not good, especially the first plate
The food was decent, the service staff were so good, and kind. They really tried hard to do a good job~and they did! The entertainment was ok. After the ‘ok’ dancing the music got louder and louder until we finally had to all go to the top deck to get away from it. The photographer tried to tell them to turn down the volume as people (us included) wanted to buy photos but you could not hear a word he said so we all gave up…. The majority of people tried to get away from the loud music by going to another deck. The only people that remained in the main room were drunk dancers. No thank you. The price was good but we won’t be returning on our next visit. Not everyone wants a booze cruise!
What was that? And why was it SO bad?! Two main questions after this “cruise”. Never take this tour at all. But well, if you’re still gonna, don’t take all inclusive. Because nothing is inclusive! Alcohol drinks? No, I needed to argue for 20 minutes with waiters to prove that there were 2 options: soft drinks and all inclusive. And even not all alcohol drinks became free after arguing. Did I buy tickets to get some relax or to argue with waiters. Do you want to argue after you buy “all-inclusive” package? Anyways these waiters tried to sell us dessert for 10 euros each! It was an absolute insult, insult to the term called good service. What about show? Show lasted just for 1 hour. I don’t wanna say anything bad about performers. They were good enough. But after show had ended very loud music started playing and some kind of disco begun. Some people like it but did I buy tickets for this cringe? Why don’t you tell from the very beginning that I can expect just 1 hour of show and more than 1 hour you have to entertain yourself. If you’re drunk enough for such kind of entertainment. And in the end, like a cherry on the cake, the driver that had to take us back to the hotel just abandoned us. So 00.20 am, no driver, no messages from him. And it’s your problem how to reach the hotel. Perfect! This tour is total disaster. If you want to have a good time, it’s not an option at all.
Highly recommended to take the full package, including all the drinks and hotel transfers. Food and entertainment is very good and the tour is well organised.
Typical turist attraction seeing turists as a fool money bag. Pick up is ok. It started 30 minutes later, food not bad but not good as well. Eating was in darkness program started light off. From the wery beginning they were begging fir tips many times. Dancer sympatic but not professional.
The staff is what makes this experience truly top notch. The staff really catered to everyone to make sure everyone had a good time. The ship was beautiful, the snacks/drinks were delicious and the wonderful staff played great relaxing music. There were lots of different places to sit on the ship and lots of places to take great pictures. Fabulous 10/10, would recommend for experience and would do it again when I’m back in Istanbul. Should be seen!!!
Actually I would like to start like this, first we were very hesitant with friends before joining this tour. After searching on the internet, we found an agency close to our hotel, the agency also helped us for this tour and gave us detailed information, We joined the tour and we liked it very much, we recommend it to everyone.
The food was delicious and with a local character, but maybe they could have served a bit bigger portions. The show was excellent, dynamic and diverse, the performers were interacting with guests all the time. The route of the cruise was interesting because one could see the Asian coast of Istanbul as well as the beautiful Dolmabahçe Palace, the Ortaköy Mosque and one of the great bridges of Bosphorus. The only incovenience regarding this experience is that the pick-up service came 30 min earlier than it was arranged by them personally, and we rushed out of our hotel not to lose the pick-up after the call. It’s better than being late, but one might have had other plans before the activity. All in all, it was a really good experience worth every dime.
Excellent service (fast, attentive), food is okay, show as expected - you get what was promised. Recommend to everyone who would like to celebrate something special or spend memorable evening with friends in “crazy atmosphere”. Important is to enjoy this craziness and take it is as a fun.
I had participated in a similar tour in a different country, I joined the evening cruise on the ship for the first time in Istanbul, I didn’t think it would be this good. Much better than the other country, I recommend it to everyone, thank you for giving us such a night.
Must do! The view of the city on both European and Asian coasts is very beautiful and the tour guide is very informative. His english was also very good. The tour is both alcohol and non-alcoholic and have snacks on board. The whole tour is almost 3 hours.Thank you Mr. Hüseyin
We participated in the evening night tour in Istanbul, we did not think that everything would be organized so professionally, the transfer took us from the hotel. And we set out for the ship, there was some traffic, but we got to our place on time. We watched Turkish dances and shows, everything went very well, thank you Hüseyin
Excellent value for money! Picked up from our hotel at the stated time. Food was good. Entertainment great. The all inclusive deal was much better...as many drinks (local) as you wanted. Tip your waiter during the evening for more attentive service. Well worth doing so you’re never waiting for drinks. A must do activity in our opinion!
Great activity!!!!! Organization at the top, very good table service !! several Magnificent show !!! I recommend 1000000%!!!!
The pick up was slightly delayed but I was keeping informed about the van. The cruise itself was excellent with entertainment & food. It was at night, can’t really enjoy the beauty of the places that we passed by. The service was very professional.
The trip was wonderful. We thought that it will be boring, but we enjoyed every single moment. The food was very very good and the employees very friendly. The show was very nice and at the end all of us were dancing with them. We definitely recommend this to anybody !
All very well organized. Very attentive waiters, I never had my glass empty for more than 1 minute. The food can be improved but it's not bad at all. The show a 10! In the end we all ended up dancing!! You can always go up on deck to take some photos with very top views!!!
Great experience with top-notch value for money
All perfect. But the starters should be more international. Service and attention from the waiters was excellent
A very good organization to go and return from dinner a very nice show 😁 and bcq d atmosphere.
Strengths: - Turkish show; - Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks; - Attentive crew. Negative point: - Quality of the food is not very good, but it is understandable considering the amount paid, the quantity is sufficient;
A little reluctant compared to previous comments but for the price paid it is an activity that is well worth it. The food was very good, a little less dessert (don't expect gourmet either), the entertainment was very good too. We can get on the high boat to take pictures. Value for money is an excellent activity.
All very well organized. The waiters very attentive, I never had my empty glass more than 1 minute. The food is good but not bad. The show a 10! In the end we all ended up dancing!! You can always go up to the deck to take some pictures with a very top view!!!
You can't get better! Everything wonderful from food to accommodation everything great. Repetition needs are definitely there and I look forward to next time !
This was a unique experience! Very delicious food, a nice insight into the Turkish tradition especially through the dance show. So much Istanbul at once is difficult to experience elsewhere. Thanks for everything!
Hammer experience to view this wonderful metropolis from the sea. The organization of the dance show left my wife and I speechless. Hospitality is not only said after culture, but it is lived. That was the confirmation! Every cent was worth it! Thank you!
We were super received would not have to worry about anything.. super friendly organizers!! Have experienced much more than we imagined and would recommend anyone..
We booked the experience last minute and it was the best of Istanbul! Very attentive staff, very quick response, good menu and spectacular dance show! We were offered shuttle Service with hotel pick-up point but decided to go on our own. Despite being a bit of a tide-driven day, not a single movement was noticed on the boat. 100% recommended!
