Once the itererary was established Kaan punctually took care of each of the tasks needed to make a trip enjoyable. His choice of guides and drivers was top notch. We had a three night stopover in Istanbul and just completed a food tour as well as a two day tour of the wonderful city. Kaan was very professional through the process. From the time we reached out he listened to our desires and put together a package that was exactly what we were looking for. He even was our guide during the food tour. He made sure we tried many traditional local dishes and provided a historical perspective behind the food and many of the restaurants we visited. Highly recommend the food tour and come hungry! On day two and three our guide was Zeynel. Another true professional that takes pride in his job and knows Istanbul history quite well. He is very down to earth and easy to converse with. He is quite flexible and able to make adjustments as necessary to accommodate his clients. He was a joy to work with. We had a group of friends go with Kaan and Bery on an adventure that featured many foods and both sides of the Bosphorus! They met us at the hotel and we started with soup for breakfast, getting a history lesson of the neighborhood and an understanding of the varieties and importance of soup to the locals. Fresh simit (with cheese baked in) was next with tea and the morning continues with culture, food, and history intertwined as we walked the streets. We hopped the ferry to head to the eastern side of Istanbul, getting additional views and stories from our guides. The food on the Asian continent continued to excite, as we tried tripe (yes, it’s worth trying), flatbreads, and interacted with the locals. We ended the day back on the western side of the city and an amazing dish made of only beans and then desert. It was an amazing tour and one that gave a real sense of the people, the food, and the history of Istanbul.

Zeynal was everything one could hope for in a tour guide. Interesting and interested. Knowledgeable. Thoughtful. Kind and considerate. Patient. We saw Istanbul through his eyes and reached into neighborhoods and experiences that we would never have had on our own. We were very happy to have met Zeynal and very much appreciate the time that we spent with him.

Our amazing guide Zeynel met us at our hotel in Fatih and then we set off on our gastronomic adventure starting with a tram ride then an informative walk around Karaköy neighbourhood while enjoying delicious foods from places we would never have found on our own. Many highlights starting with çiğ köfte in a wrap, an array of soups and then a stop for fresh simit with çay before we had an outstanding fish wrap followed by a selection of freshly made baklava. Next we enjoyed a beautiful ferry ride over the Bosphorus to Kadiköy and another informative stroll through a bustling street neighbourhood where we sampled pickle juice, pide, lahmacun and then finished with turkish coffee. On our return ferry ride to the European side Zeynel went the extra mile to help us get to an earlier derviş show in Hodjapasha, personally escorting us to the venue and sorting out the ticket exchange with the booking team. A very complete plan, the attention of each of the guides was very good, they were very friendly and were always willing to answer questions during the tour, the destinations were excellent, the hotels very good and clean.

At first I booked an airport transfer to our hotel via Reminder, which I learned about via Bery Istanbul Tips. We then decided to book a private street food tour, which was led by Kaan. Kaan was a great guy to hang out with for the afternoon, who first met us at our hotel in Pera, and then started us on a walking tour first through the very cool neighbourhood of Karaköy, trying some delicious Turkish street food along the way (the fish sandwich (balık ekmek) - do not skip!) then onto a ferry across the Bosphorus to Kadıköy, on the Asian side to try even more amazing food. Kaan told us many great facts, history and fun stories about Istanbul and Turkey through our several hours together. We went on this tour on one of our first days in Istanbul really helped give us our bearings for the next few days we spent there. Reminder were super easy to contact via WhatsApp, and we ended up booking a return transfer with them to the airport, which was the way to go. Don't hesitate to book with Reminder - thank you all!

I can highly recommend Oyku Demir from Reminder tours. I spent the day with her exploring the blue mosque, hippodrome, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi palace. She was extremely knowledgeable remembering every detail. Not only that she is very friendly. I highly recommend searching out Oyku for your tour.

I wanted a comfortable introduction to Istanbul the next day after a 13 hour flight and got just that with my guide Berat. We saw the Asian side in Uskudar and a little bit of the historical part in Sultanahmet. It was very helpful to have a local Turkish guide show me around.

It was amazing the service they gave us, they didn’t neglect a single detail and even as they went along they fulfilled every request I made. Come to Turkey is wonderful, the war is not affecting her, the people are friendly and attentive. Language is not a barrier almost everyone speaks English and many Spanish. Don’t believe YouTubers, I came with my mother who is older, and even though we were two women alone NO ONE scammed us, or harassed us....people were super respectful and gentle especially with my mother.....I LOVED TURKEY.....THANK YOU TOTALLY TO REMINDER AND HIS TEAM (Umit, Sofia, Talha,etc,etc,etc)

Excellent tourism agency. Our guide was Ümit, it was 10/10. Our group was 3 people, including a senior citizen. In addition to the excellent explanations they gave us, Ümit was very considerate and attentive to having the limitations of my mom. He shook her hand and always looked for a way to rest, etc. Comparing other tours we have had with other agencies, this one with reminder tour was exceptional. I recommend it. It is worth the value/price that the tours have.
