Istanbul is a bridge between Europe and Asia, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, a position that endows it with one of the most unique and beautiful settings in the world. For, between the hills on the European and Asiatic shores flows the Bosphorus, the brightest gem in the diadem of nature.
Dolmabahçe Palace located in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European coast of the Bosporus strait, served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1887 and from 1909 to 1922.
Occupying an ornate former Ottoman palace overlooking the Bosphorus strait, this luxe hotel is 2 km from Dolmabahçe Sarayı, an art museum in a grand palace
The Dolmabahçe Mosque is a mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. It was commissioned by queen mother Bezmi Alem Valide Sultan.
The Galatasaray Islet is a small island on the Bosphorus strait off Kuruçeşme neighborhood in Istanbul, Turkey, which is owned by Galatasaray Sports Club.
Arnavutköy is a town and rural district in Istanbul Province, Turkey. The district was newly formed in 2008 from the large rural part of Gaziosmanpaşa district and parts of other districts, including Çatalca.
Bebek is one of the nicest neighborhoods on the Bosphorus, located on the European side of Istanbul. ... It was built in 1902 by the Italian architect Raimondo D'Aronco for an Ottoman minister than sold to the Egyptian Embassy when Istanbul was still the capital of the Ottoman Empire.
Ortaköy is a lively area centered on its waterfront square, where crowds gather to listen to impromptu concerts or sip tea on cafe terraces. Stands serving waffles or kumpir (stuffed baked potatoes) share busy alleys with souvenir stalls. The ornate, light-filled Ortaköy Camii mosque sits at the water’s edge in the shadow of the Bosphorus Bridge. After dark, upmarket restaurants and clubs nearby draw a chic crowd.
Which was inaugurated on October 29, 1973 on the fiftieth anniversary of the Turkish Republic, has the longest span in Europe and the fourth in the world.
The Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, also known as the Second Bosphorus Bridge, is a bridge in Istanbul, Turkey spanning the Bosphorus strait. When completed in 1988, it was the 5th-longest suspension bridge span in the world; today it is the 24th.
Anadoluhisarı is a small fishing village housing some old historical yalıs belonging to the rich. The road goes on to the village of Kanlıca, famous for its milk and yogurt and to the Meşrutâ Yalı, one of the oldest Yalıs on the Bosphorus.
At the narrowest point of the Bosphorus stands the Rumelihisarr Fortress, built by Sultan Mehmet, the Conqueror on the European shore. The Sultan himself on the 26th day of March 1452 laid the foundation stone of the Fortress with a view to controlling the passage of the ships through the Bosphorus and using it as a base for his attack on the city.
The summer Palace of Kucuksu, sometimes called the Palace of Göksu, is situated between the villages of Anadoluhisan and Kandilli on the Asiatic shore of the Bosphorus. The Kucuksu Palace was first built by Mahmut I in 1749. Later it underwent a restoration during the reigns of Selim Ill and Ahmet Il. It was renovated by Sultan Abdülmecit in 1857. Sultan Abdülaziz gave the palace a new face-lift and had it refurbished and redecorated. It is a small but elegant edifice, stretching along the lip of the Bosphorus, surrounded by intricately cast iron railings. Waters and waves of the Bosphorus wash its terraces of glittering marble and sometimes penetrate their latticed and mysterious recesses.
Situated on the Asiatic shore of the Bosphorus between the villages of Kuzguncuk and Cengelköy, the palace was built by Sultan Abdülaziz in 1865. Beylerbeyi Palace seen from the Bosphorus floats like a white vision in a fairy tale. It is the most extravagant royal house of the 19th Century on which millions were spent. It is built completely of marble, surpassing all the Palaces of European Kings. Empress Eugénie, during her visit of 1869 stayed in this palace as well as Czar Nicholas Il of Russia. Edward VIII was a guest in 1936. Stone lionesses recline on marble carpets set in lawns, and swans float and fish swim in the unobtrusive pool where pigeons fly to catch the spray of the fountain upon their wings.
About 180 metres away from the shores of Üsküdar stands this tower which bears two different names. Europeans who named it the Leander's Tower thought that it was here where Leander was drowned while attempting to swim the Bosphorus to reach his beloved Hero, the priestess of Aphrodite. But, in fact, Leander never crossed here even in the legend which refers to the Hellespont, Dardanelles. The Turkish name is KIZ kulesi ( Maiden's Tower ). It is now a modern lighthouse. In the past, it served as a fort to tax ships up to one tenth of their cargo, similar to Pfalz Castle on the Rhine.
The Galata Bridge is a bridge that spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. From the end of the 19th century in particular, the bridge has featured in Turkish literature, theater, poetry and novels.
The Galata Tower, called Christea Turris by the Genoese, is a medieval stone tower in the Galata/Karaköy quarter of Istanbul, Turkey, just to the north of the Golden Horn's junction with the Bosphorus.
On the opposite bank stands the Anadoluhisari Fortress by the Göksu stream. This romantic castle which adorns the Asiatic shore of the Bosphorus was built in 1395 by Sultan Bayazit, the Thunderbolt and named as "Güzelcehisar". Later it was extended by Mehmet, the Conqueror. Today, as the first possession of Turks on the Bosphorus, it serves as the landmark of Turkish rule.

The onboard experience was a lot of fun and high energy, very enjoyable. The food was tasty. Pick up and drop off we’re a disaster. They forgot to pick us up. We took a taxi and were 30 minutes late, last to board. Lots of disorganized confusion after the show so we took another taxi
I would not recommend at all. First pick up was a good 45 mins late, the bus reeked of smoke and as a non-smoker it was very uncomfortable because its a closed place. The food was super bad. We asked to change seats and while it was accommodated, our mezze which had been served did not move with us. When asked, server said mezze service is closed?? We were not asking for new plates but our hardly eaten mezze. U get packaged buns to eat with mezze which is a joke. Vegetarian option was ridiculous bad tasting pasta and dessert is stale baklava. There was what seems to an event guy who would dance when dancers were not dancing and he seemed to engage only with folks who had drinks on their table and was asking for freebies. He was absurd, probably thought it was entertaining to force disinterested women to engage with him. The waiter would not stop hounding for tips either, It eventually got boring with the repetitive dances and the crazy loud music! i would skip if u have kids as it was cringy watching folks shove bills down the dancers bosom. I was glad when it was done with!
The food was Good. Excellent DJ dishing out good mix of old and new music. Entertainment was memorable. Relaxed atmosphere
The dancers were very special. Loved their enthusiasm. Good was also very colorful and tasty. Service was prompt
This cruise was okay. They forgot to pick us up but did offer to get us a taxi and wait for us to arrive but we weren’t able to get a taxi. So they promised us if we went the next night we would have special treatment with a nice table and a window view near the stage. They didn’t keep their promise and we were sat in the middle at the back away from window and stage. The tables are set up banquet style inside the boat and it is hard to see the sites from the window. The food was good. Dinner Service and show then dancing goes on for the whole 3 1/2 to 4 hours but you can leave dinner and show to go out on deck to actually see the sights. That is definitely not the focus of this cruise though.
Absolutely amazing ! The views were beautiful. The food was good. The shows were lovely. The staff was very friendly.
The dancers were delightful. The belly dancer was a lot of fun! Dinner service was very slow! We almost lost the show. Pick up and delivery was well done!
Not sure what the bad reviews are about. For the price you are being picked up and dropped off from your hotel, food is good (choose from chicken, fish or beef), quality entertainment, GORGEOUS views around the Bosphorus!!! There are three levels on this boat. You are free to move around. The only improvements needed are--sometimes it was a bit hard to see the performers. It would be nice if they could move around the room a bit more, perhaps go down the aisles. Also, there are photographers there that take your pictures and sell them to you at the end for a really cheap price, only if you want of course. However the actually photographers are a bit aggressive. They should pick up on people's cues and leave them alone if photos aren't wanted. They photographer kept telling me to "show teeth." I NEVER show teeth in pictures and told him so, but he kept insisting. A little annoyance from a photographer did not deter me though. My mother and I had a wonderful time as did the people around us. This really was underpriced.
It was a nice experience! The staff was nice and the food was okay, I was actually pretty impressed that everyone was served at once for the whole boat and the food all seemed to come warm fresh from the oven. The staff was a bit overwhelmed with drink orders though so it took a while to receive refills. The dancers are talented and entertaining, even had my colleague invited up on the stage to dance along with them at one point. There were definitely some amazing sights only to be seen from the water point of view which I’m grateful to have experienced. The transport wasn’t an issue for us since we were in the area and simply walked to the boat and then walked to Taksim square afterwards for a drink but I could see a cluster of busses and throngs of people trying to find the right one, and at that time of night on a Friday, the traffic was horrific. I actually bad for those riding the buses.
Seeing Istanbul at night via cruise was nice. But the food and drinks were very mediocre, and the staff were not very efficient. They kept mixing up orders and were not very responsive when we asked for drinks, seemed like they were very short-staffed. They were also behind schedule on everything. The cruise is 4 hours long. For the live Turkish dance performances, it can be difficult to see anything if you don't grab a good seat early as the deck and dance area are not elevated. Also, be aware that the ride back to the hotel can take a long time if you have to go through Istanbul traffic; we left at midnight on Saturday night, and traffic was very bad due to Istanbul nightlife in the area, we took 1 hour to travel a 10-min walking distance by car; might be better to walk back if your hotel is in the area.
Cruise was nice, food was good. Limited alcohol choices available. Dancers where great. Biggest issue was the show as difficult to see as it was on the main dinning deck (due to cooler weather) and there where a lot of dinners blocking the view. The dinning room could have been laid out better so that people could see better. They also had the table t o crowded with dinners shoulder to shoulder. I would suggest they cut available seating by 25-30% and rearrange the tables so everyone is facing the dance floor.
Excellent experience, hotel pickup and drop off went smooth , good food and unlimited drinks . Kids really enjoyed the dance . Amazing atmosphere. Money well spent !!
Overall the experience was quite good. They pick-up us from out hotel as requested and got us back after the cruise. The food was more like in low cost restaurant and we have a problem with alcohol. We had troubles with our reservation /we have paid tickets in tripadvisor and pay 10 euro extra for alcohol/ and we were not the only ones having troubles with reservation. The staff was not very profesional /they picked up my plate before i even getting done with the dinner/. The traditional turkish dance was quite good and the view was exceptional.
I really like this dinner cruise, very nice people, great service, beautiful costumes and dancers. Thanks for the Captain and the bus driver to guide us safely in the bad weather we had. Great job, thanks to you all
We really had a great time on this cruise with a traditional and delicious dinner and unlimited drinks. The evening music and culture presentation was just awesome with a great view of the river at night...I plan to come back
While the cruise was scenic, it was not worth the price. The food was like airplane food (pre-packaged rolls, etc) and you sit on hard plastic picnic chairs crowded around tables. The performance was fine but not outstanding. The night views were nice and the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. Just overpriced for what you get.
The cruise was jam packed; there were signs promoting COVID safety but attendees were seated shoulder to shoulder with NO social distancing. People were smoking on ship deck and keeping the door to the seated area open so they could watch the show at the same time. Bought unlimited drinks but wait staff was so busy only enjoyed one. Guess it served as a box check but I wouldn’t recommend.
Contrary to many reviews we found it a perfect entertainment and every aspect including dinner and cultural show was outstanding. Only aspect which could be improved is their main Belly dancer is aged one.
Reading all the excellent reviews my expectations were high, but the experience was rather poor in the end. The whole night started with a 40 mins waiting at our hotel lobby, the pick up bus was late and no one informed us about it, barely responding to our texts. Same on the way home, we were dropped last, took a long time to reach our hotel. Arriving to the boat, we were seated by a crowded table between random families. Even non covid times it would be way too close to strangers… The show was fine, the waiters were doing an excellent job. The selection of food was quite poor, but the quality was good! I wish we knew about the seating conditions, I would have not take this cruise. It’s more like a big family experience, not for couples who might want a little more privacy, at least a private table.
Organized pick up and drop off. The dinner was tasty. Dance show was great! Lots of fun overall. The views at night were really spectacular. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to knock out multiple experiences in a short time. We were only in Istanbul for a day, so it was really great for us!
Overall very poor everything except for wait staff. Food mediocre, show mediocre and most importantly no social distance whatsoever as if COVID has been defeated and no longer around. Place was packed with people in coped up cabin without any air ventilation. Stay away if you want to be safe. May be different experience before COVID but now it’s a no no.
A bit of a cattle call even during the pandemic. The food is pretty marginal. But we really enjoyed the cruise, views, entertainment and service. Unlimited alcohol package was well worth it.
This was such a beautiful and romantic experience. Starting off with appetizers and dinner, followed by an incredible show. Great experience for couples and family! Also incredible views of the sunset! They also pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
The view was great. Show and food were just ok. Not sure it would have been any better anywhere else as it seems that everyone is doing same thing.
The food was terrible service was ok at best the boat was nice and the dancers were the highlight of the 2.5 hrs. We ordered perch and chicken, the perch was disgusting unable to eat it probably was not perch, as it was dark and bitter the chicken seemed frozen and old.
Great entertaining cruise. Shuttle bus arrived on time, food was okay. Included appetizers, drinks, main course, tea and dessert. Views were amazing. Had on board photographers to capture professional photos
It was amazing I want to thank first of all the driver he waited for us cuz our flight had a delay . The event was realy nice and the cake that you did for my birthday boyfriend was very nice. Amazing
We were picked up by minibus from our hotel at 7pm. Then the bus made several hotels and an hour later we were on the boat. From 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., dinner was served on the lower deck as the boat sailed across the bosphorus. Then everyone got on the upper deck where a very pleasant show of oriental and Turkish dances took place at 10pm. At 11:30 pm the show ended, the dj took over and we danced until our return to the port at midnight. Then we took the minibus the opposite way to our hotel. The meal was good and the drinks were free. To recommend but take a sweater because the nights on board in the open air are cool. Overall, we loved the dinner cruise and the night shows on the Bosphorus.
What a wonderful cruise! I was picked up on time at my hotel and brought over to the port. I was seated at my table and was offered great service during the show. Had a full 3 course meal. I chose the traditional meatballs since I haven't tried it and it was so delicious. There were several dance performances throughout the night and a highlight tour of some of the landmarks off the Bosphorous River. Towards the end of the show a photographer took some photos for a very small fee and they actually came out pretty good. Awesome way to end my last night in Istanbul with a ride back to my hotel.
10 out 10 It was an amazing experience A MUST GO if you are staying in istanbul We had a wonderful evening with amazing staff
Amazing cruise, really recommend it. From the pick up to drop off, everything was very well managed and the food was delicious from starter to dessert. We had ordered chicken meal which was cooked perfectly so soft and full of taste. We finished off our dinner with their kehwa. Also the dances were great everyone followed strict SOPS due to covid -19
Best tour. On time safety transfer from and to hotel. Excellent atmosphere with different type of dances. Tasty meal. Friendly staff.
I highly recommend to every one to this company they are ao professional and the whole cruise trip was so awsom and food they served was amazing .
The performances part was amazing. From pickup to drop, throughout we feel very special. The dinner was very good too.
The food was nice. Drinks for free. Had a good time there. Definitely worth to go. Was nice that the driver pick you up and drop you back to your hotel
Great dinner and entertainment, went on a night cruise with the husband and thoroughly enjoyed ☺️👌. Staff picked and dropped off at the hotel and were very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
My daughter and I had the most wonderful and relaxing experiences of our near 3 week visit to Istanbul. Our cruise with Pereme Tours was just what i needed in such a hot August in Istanbul. Hotel pick-up in a nice mini-bus, then onto the ship and into mezzes and drinks. Tables were social-distanced and staff/guests in masks. The food was quite adequate. Everything was clean and kept that way, including the bathroom. A/C until the dancers and guests hit the dance-floor heated it up a good few degrees. The table-service was excellent and my daughter loved the attention. Picture for purchase, including period-costume sittings upstairs. 3+ hours and drop-off back at the hotel. It was such a relaxing tour on such a historic and ancient waterway. Loved it. Thank-you Pereme Tours. I will use Pereme when i return with my wife next time.
A dinner show worthy of cabaret on a very beautiful boat. In addition, the cruise on the Bosphorus at night is just surreal, it is so magnificent. Istanbul is definitely a magic city. The dinner served on board is correct the service at the top only one to say it is to be done at all costs. We left with perimeters especially do not hesitate to negotiate the prices when booking they are making great discounts.
very good experience with wonderful service and amazing boat. Our captain was very polite and helpful. We want to do the cruise again and again!!!
Wonderfull dinner Cruise in Istanbul. it was my friend's birthday and they even prepared a birthday cake so that we could celebrate his birhday. The dinner was yummy, dance shows were spectacular and entertainin. we had a great time on this cruise, strongly suggested.
It was our first trip to Istanbul. Owing to the Bosphorus tours we enjoyed marvelous views of the city. The dance show was really entertaining and dinner was very delicious. We had a great time there.
Cruise to spend a nice night with dinner and show, you can see the bridges illuminated at dusk as well as the city. Dinner is good, the show is entertaining, they make it enjoyable and interactive with the passengers; You have the opportunity to meet people from other places, and also dance and have a good chat with your companions.
We booked Bosphorus dinner cruise with Turkish night shows with Istanbul Bisphorus Tours, we sent a reservation request and they responded back so fast. We were not asked to pay for the cruise in advance. As promised, they picked us up from our hotel which was a big help. When we boarded on the boat, our table was already ready and we were placed right by the window so that we could see the sights of Istanbul while we cruise around the Bosphorus. The dinner served was rich and fresh. But what we liked the most was the Turkish night shows presented by a professional dance team,we really apreciate their enthuaism. When the cruise was over,we were safely droven back to our hotel. We spent a pleasent evening on this cruise and strongly suggest any one wishing to have a dinner on a boat cruise with some nice entertaintments.
We attended this dinner cruise to celebrate my partner's birthday and we had a wonderful time. We informed them about our birthday and the company informed us that they would prepare a birthday cake.- staff was friendly and worked hard to meet everyone's needs, the views from the deck are spectacular at night, and the nights shows performed a very lively dance trip were very successful further to a great evening. We also found the dinner served quite sufficient and food was delicious.Prices for such a good service was affordance as well. Altogether - a great experience and highly recommended!
We are a group of friends having short weekend visit to İstanbul. Apart than historical sites we heard that Dinner Cruise must do. We booked online and they immediatly inform us for pick up time. They pick us up from pür hotel as they promise. We get in in a huge boat and have a table close to stage, embarked around 20.30 and sail on Bosphorus in the night, foods were vere good but too much, folkloric dances and Belly Dancer I enjoyed specificly. I really ilke it. Thank you for everyone in İstanbul Bosphorus Cruise I trully recommend their servise
This cruise was the highlight of out trip in Istanbul. The boat was in good conditions, dinner was delicious but the best part was the dancers performing typical Turkish folk dances along with belly dancers and dervishes. Overall, this was a great experience for all of us.
We had mesmerising days in Istanbul with bosphorous tours. The best part is Cruise and Delux dinner. Thank you for the well organised trip for us.
It was an absolute amazing experience seeing Istanbul by night. The Bosphorus bridges twinkle and it's mesmerizing to see from the clear boat.We enjoyed the delicious dinner served on the boat (main courses: meatballs, chicken, fish and even vegetarian food available). I highly recommend this cruise.
