We had a wonderful vacation in Turkey last April and explored Istanbul, Izmir and Cappadocia. All the tours, hotels, food and services were superb. We really like the hospitality of the Recital hotel in Istanbul because the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our favorite city is Istanbul. Thank you Smart Turkey tours for all the arrangements. Amazing travel experience with Smart Turkey Tours. Yeliz was such a great coordinator, very responsive and attentive. She made our travel very memorable. Not knowing what to expect in a foreign country makes me anxious but my fears were put to rest starting the very first day. I highly recommend this company, all the tour guides and drivers were so courteous, patient and so pleasant.

This was review was written on their google page after I returned in March 2023 but wanted to make sure it was posted on here, too! Sorry for the delay, Metin and Deniz! My family of 4 visited Turkey for 7 days recently, Feb 22 - March 1, 2023 and Deniz was our tour guide. My sis made the rsvp from the US and communicated with the company (Metin was the main contact person). The communication from Metin and Deniz was top notch from beginning to end. We stayed a few days before and after Turkey in Amsterdam. When we flew to Turkey from AMS, Metin already contacted my sis via whatsapp to let us know who, where the driver is going to pick us up, etc. Metin was always prompt in being in contact even before we left the USA, of course we were concerned about the tragic recent earthquake and if it was safe to travel there, but he reassured us that things were safe on the IST side. If anything, it was probably a good time to support Turkey through tourism. We had a 7 day tour starting in IST with a private van/driver (thanks to Kemar and Yenar for their driving skills!) with our tour guide, Deniz (since day 1, same guide)..the sprinter van was a 15 seater for the 4 of us, it was clean, comfortable and the hotels were all amazing and the lunches that were provided by the tour company were outstanding. We started in IST, then drove to Canakkale, Izmir, Kusadasi, Denizili, etc. We will return for Cappadochia and Ankara! We had such a memorable time and miss it already. The weather was mild, 60s degrees+!! I definitely want to return to Pamakkale and eat more pidet, turkish tea, turkish apple tea and fresh turkish delights! Thanks again to Metin, Deniz and the drivers. I am so glad we were all safe and healthy! Please do not hesitate to book with this company and be sure to ask for Deniz as your tour guide. Deniz is extremely patient, punctual, enthusiastic, laid back and communicative. His knowledge of Turkish history, etc., is amazing... We had a fabulous private tour of Turkey in Nov 2022 thanks to Smart Turkey. We travelled as a group of 10 couples with 3 toddlers. We covered Istanbul, Antalya, pamukkale, kusadasi, and kapadokia. The itinerary was very well planned. Yeliz was very kind and always available for any help that was needed during our stay. Our tour guides Fatma n Shafaq were awesome. They were very patient with the kids and they took care we get good vegetarian food. There knowledge about the history of Ottoman Empire was phenomenal.

We went for our Turkey trip in July 2022, as a group of 13 people including 3 kids. Yeliz was a wonderful tour co-ordinator. She was always available on phone for all our queries and promptly assisted us before and during the trip. The tour guides Fathma and Shifaq were excellent. We had a great time at the hotels, especially the cave hotel at Cappedocia and Ramada in Kusadesi. Overall it was a superb trip. I would really like to thank Smart Turkey Tours for giving us a lifetime of wonderful memories.

We were a group of 10 adults and 3 toddlers and we had a blast! Everything was arranged as per our discussion with Yelize. Yelize went out of her way to make sure everything goes smoothly. We started from Istanbul and covered Antalya, Kusadasi and Cappadocia over the next week and returned back to Istanbul to catch our flights back home. Our tour guides Fatma and Safak were excellent! Right from general information to history to even watching our kids while we took pictures.. For everything they were always patient and helpful. Since we had kids they would especially advice us where we could take our strollers and where we couldn't. We even had few vegetarians in the group and they would always make sure the restaurants they chose for lunch had veg options as well. Istanbul and Cappadocia had a pleasant climate. Antalya and kusadasi were really hot and sunny. Each place was unique in its own way.. The landscape and history.. so it's really hard to pick the highlight. We were also lucky to have had the hot air balloon experience at Cappadocia. I would highly recommend smart Turkey tours of you are looking for a hassle free personalised experience!

My mom and I choose 10 days custom private tour of Turkey and I can’t express my gratitude enough with staff starting with Metin which helped me with organizing the entire customized trip. This is our second time traveling with Smart Turkey. We went with them in April 2019 despite there were many tours going to Turkey from Msia. If you prefer smaller group or rather don't mind meeting with new people at every destination and the flexibility to decide your activities and destination, this is a good option. It's easy and pleasant to deal with Anil. Hence the moment our borders were open and travel restrictions have been eased in Turkey, we decided to contact Anil and asked if he could help us with some arrangements. Their pick up service is punctual (most Turkish people tend to be very early), hotel choices are good. We did the ATV ride around goreme valley. Highly recommended. Exciting and easy way of getting around the area instead of walking. We also managed to take the hot air balloon this time which was one of the reasons we came back to Turkey. Will save that story for another time.

I had misconception of Turkey until I met Smart Turkey Travel Agency in one of the travel fairs in 2019 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. With their detailed explanation and assurance, my friend and I signed up with Smart a Turkey for Istanbul-Kusadasi-Cappadocia trip. It was a good experience with all the transfers, hotel arrangement and activities. After the border opens in April 2022, we chose to go back to Turkey and extended to Greece (Athen-Mykonos-Santorini) for a more relax arrangement. It’s still good in the arrangement despite transfer to wrong airport for flight to Athens from Istanbul and it gave me heart attack. The agency should also have other suggestions on activities for us to replace hot air balloon in Cappadocia as we failed 2 attempts due to weather condition.

Amazing tour where you can visit most of the well-known places in Turkey. The attention of Smart Turkey Tours was amazing! And our tour guide Ege definitely made it an outstanding experience with his knowledge and humor! I particularly liked the tour in Ancient Ephesus. Don't miss the Air Balloon trip in Kappadokia if the weatherpermits it; it's an once in a lifetime experience! The price is also very good for what is offering. I would absolutely recommend it!

Rating 10 out of 10! What a great tour and tour company. First class service all the way. Yeliz was very attentive to every need we had. Our tour guide in Istanbul was Neshe and she was fantastic. Istanbul is an amazing city. Hagia Sophia, the Bosphorous cruise and the mosques were highlights. Our guide in Capadocia was Turcan and she was fun and super. We enjoyed a tour of the underground city, a carpet manufacturer, and a pottery tour on top of the unique faery chimneys. Very cool. We also added on a traditional Tukish Hamam, which I highly recommend that you do when finished with your day's touring. Our guide for the last portion of the trip was Safak and he was a wealth of knowledge. Pamukkale was interesting (very long bus ride to get there though) but Epehesus the next day was fabulous (and much closer). All the guides and drivers used their local knowledge to show us the "insider places" to eat and shop. The vans and drivers were top notch too. Very comfortable rides through the cities and countryside. In the beginning, I set out to organize my own trip and then found Smart Turkey Tours. And I am so glad I did. They did it all: From organizing the fights, airport transfers, hotels, tour guides and entry fees to the meals, they just made me appreciate that, when you come across a tour company that is excellent, it makes your whole experience excellent too. We had a wonderful time on this full board private tour, with our experienced and knowledgeable tourguide, Safak. He was very attentive, had a sense of humour, and made sure that all our needs were taken care of. There were three senior citizens in the group, who required many breaks, especially during the walking tour in the old city area of Istanbul. The private boat Bosphorus cruise was simply splendid and we enjoyed it. Thumbs up to Safak n Smart Turkey Tour!

So we decided to go on a Girls trip this Spring and after alot of research we came across Smart Turkey Tours on Google. I was in touch with Yeliz from the beginning right upto the end of the trip and she literally provided support 24/7 :). She also assisted us with the documents required for visa purpose and arrange all the airport transfers (in comfortable private cars), tours in Isntanbul, Pamukkale and Capadocia, good hotel arrangements and much much more. Even the guides on the tours - Nessa in Istanbul, Gulshan in Capadocia were extremely sweet souls and very helpful. Yeliz also assisted us with pitstops that we had to make for shopping - we just had to tell her what we wanted and she made it happen. The weather in Turkey around end of April - beginning of May was extremely cold especially in the outskirts. In Istanbul it was around 15-17°C where as in Cappadocia it was around 6-7°C. This is basically Spring in Turkey. Also experience the Turkish bath when you are in Istanbul. It is an experience that you must go through while you are there. I would suggest doing the hot air balloon during Summer time when the weather is good and you can pay around 5TL to go to the view point to capture good clicks. Even through it was just 2 girls on the trip - it was extremely fun and safe! The food is amazinnngg and when you have Yeliz - you don't have to fear. She will literally take control of everything. Moreover the package rates that Smart Turkey offers is reasonable and covers almost everything.

Planning the trip was extremely easy. The operator/owner is very responsive and quick to address any questions, concerns or requests. He was supportive throughout our trip and early accessible. Transfers were always on time. We had 3 domestic flights and this alleviated all anxiety associated with flights, pickups, etc. The tour guides were unbelievable. Super knowledgeable, personable, courteous, and accommodating. They listened and calculated every detail of our days from food, tours, shopping etc. I have never had such guides that take this much pride in their profession and care for their clients overall happiness. Amazing experience!! 100% recommended. I loved being able to meet Turkey with expert guides. Everything was perfectly planned and all the guides were amazing. We stayed two days with Fatih guide for Cappadocia and made our experience very comfortable! In addition to guiding us and explaining the history and culture helped us at all times and made very good recommendations. In Ephesus and Pamukkale we were with Sergio who was also a great guide, a nice person and knows a lot about the history. I traveled with my mom and sister and truly our trip would not have been the same. We had a great time and recommend it 100%
