I worked directly with the sales person at Smart Turkey Tours, Gonenc Gorsun; he was delightful to work with. We worked with him to set up our week’s stay and itinerary a few weeks before beginning our trip. His command of English and written communication was superb. He made good suggestions and responded in detail with appropriate answers to my questions. He graciously tailored our guided tours of Istanbul and Cappadocia to cover exactly what we wished to see. He let us pick the hotels we wished to use, even changing one upon my request. He also provided a number to reach him at any time 24/7 in the event of any problem, but I did not need to use it, as we had no difficultly. He arranged all airport transfer transportation; when we arrived at IST, he had a driver met us at the airport and take us to our hotel. He arranged our two days touring Istanbul with a private guide who was great. All entrance fees were prepaid and we most often bypassed any lines to get in to the sites. For our side trip to Cappadocia he had all airport transfers and airline flights ready for us. He also had a very good guide there to show us around the area for two days. And of course our transfer back to our Istanbul hotel. I am very impressed with Smart Turkey Tours. Gonenc Gorsen did an excellent job, making the week go so smoothly and enjoyable. We just came back from an incredible trip to Turkey. We visited Istanbul and Cappadocia — what an amazing country, full of beauty, culture, and history. Even though we experienced a few setbacks due to situations beyond our control, like the weather, our guides adapted the visits in the best possible way. Both of our guides, Yaya in Istanbul and Inci in Cappadocia, were extremely knowledgeable and shared their country with such enthusiasm. We can’t wait to go back someday!

We had a few tour guides while we were visiting. One of our guides was Inci throughout our visit to Cappadocia. She was fantastic. She was very enthusiastic and customized our tour to what we wanted to do. We loved how knowledgeable she was. 10/10 would recommend her!

Smart Turkey Tours expertly coordinated our visit to Turkey, with their agent Gonenc Gorsun facilitating arrangements before and during the tour. The tour company provides a very good value and fulfills its promises. First, they provide reliable pickups and transfers from and to the airport. This amounted to six taxi rides. I regularly checked by Whats App with Gonenc and he confirmed the time of these rides to reassure us. Second, during the daily tours in Istanbul and in Cappadocia, we were provided with delicious lunches which exceeded my expectations. The two guides we had were experts and very sensitive to our needs. In Istanbul, Nil provided us with a private tour (we were the only customers) for two full days accompanying us through the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Cisterns, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Bosphorus Cruise, including Tram transfers, sitting with us for lunch, and bringing us to sights, stores and districts beyond the official itinerary. Nil is a Turkish national treasure. She will undoubtedly become a major guide in the touring field. In Cappadocia, Zeki was very attentive and flexible with our needs. He is a scholar with a wealth of stories and knowledge leading us through dozens of sites including Goreme open air museum, Ozkonak underground city, the Dervent Valley, the Pidgeon Valley, the ceramic workshop at Avanos, the Cavusin Village, and more including rug and jewelry vendors. If we had arranged for hotels, breakfast, lunches, transports, domestic flights, admissions and guides on our own, the tour price would have been more than we paid for the expert guidance and care provided by Smart Turkey Tours.

We went for 4 days Istanbul and Cappadocia trip, which we planned a a very short notice. Smart Turkeys Tour, really planed it very well in 1 day's notice, and all aspects of tours were very well organized, and very professionally executed. All drivers were on time, hotels were good and tour guides very friendly and knowledgeable.

Metin was very helpful and resourceful. The service was amazing. Communication was prompt. Well supported by very professional guide (safak n zekir) and the driver was also very helpful. I would recommend SMART TURKEY. I would have given them more than just 5 stars. Was given a free upgrade on our last 2 nite in Istanbul as the arrange hotel have some heating problem. The arrangement done was excellent, Hotel selection was Amazing. The stay at Solem Cave Hotel and EFE Boutique Hotel was very memorable.

I would recommend Smart Turkey Tours (in particular Yeliz) for travel to Turkey. The tour guides were knowledgeable and courteous. We just returned from a dream holiday in Turkey which covered Istanbul and Cappadocia. It turned out to be a very memorable vacation for the entire family, thanks to Yeliz and the Smart Turkey team who planned every detail of the trip so well! The itinerary was carefully thought through and well balanced, to ensure it was interesting for the adults as well as the children. All the guides were very professional and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the cruise across the Bosporus, visiting the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahçe, Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern and bazaars in Istanbul, and also the lunar landscape, underground city, beautiful valleys and open air museum in Cappadocia! For foodies like us, the guides also provided excellent recommendations where we could enjoy authentic Turkish food! It was a great cultural experience and we enjoyed spending time with the local folks. Overall a very remarkable experience!

One of the most memorable tours and tour services received. Responses to queries were attended to respectively fast, special thanks to Metin from Smart Türkey Tours. Listed agendas and commitments of the tour were all fulfilled with additions and none were shortchanged at all. Myself and my husband went on the private 8 days Turkey tour and the experience was amazing. Tour guides were not rigid but very sensitive to our preferences and desires. They GO ALL OUT to make small requests happen for you (eg finding for a special shop/purchase item/ food type/ stop anywhere on the go on request/ reasonable detours/ negotiate for better prices, etc). Special thanks to Tourguide Gökhan (informative, detailed and understanding) and driver Okan (best control on the windy roads). The team is an honest agency, my husband lost his mobile phone in the transfer vehicle on the 1st day, regardless of time, 11pm then, Metin made arrangements immediately to have it searched and found and delivered to the hotel that we were staying in the next day for no charges at all. The commitment of the team is beyond praise. It made our trip much less worrisome and enjoyable! Would overall recommend this agency for anyone looking to do a tour within Turkey.

The hotel accommodations were superb , all breakfast were included in the hotel price and all the meals were in local restaurants and paid by the tour guide, the service was incredible and the tour guide was always able to communicate our needs to the locals. The pace of the trip was adequate. With pick ups and drop offs at the hotel every single day. The knowledge and insights the tour guide was able to give us about the attractions was excellent. I would repeat this same tour with the same tour guide with another friend if need be 5/5

Best part was the efficiency, sincerity and professionalism of Metin our agent from Smart Turkey Tours...due to our extraordinary circumstances... Best visit was Cappadocia... Our party of 9, ranging from 4 yrs old to 80 yrs old had a very interesting and daunting experience.... Made easy by good people around us...Cok Syukur... On our 6/7th day, My dad had an emergency where he suddenly suffered Gastro intestinal bleeding...in Cappadocia, our local agent Inci via Metin from Smart Turkey was quick to respond....we had to bring my dad to the hospital via ambulance from the cave suites (Exedra Cave Suites- beautiful place with very nice staff) and to make a long story short, he was placed in ICU for almost a week. What was initially supposed to be a week, turned into almost 3 weeks. And throughout that time, Metin was always willing and eager to assist Our local guide Inci, who I now consider as my sister, was our translator, guide, assistant, friend, and more... To be hospitalised in a foreign country with few English speakers is not an experience you'd want to go through....but Alhamdulillah Syukur, like I said above, an experience made easy by good people around us ... excellent trip to turkia, visiting istanbul the Cappadocia and efes. a great cultural wealth and wonderful country. it's an experience worth doing, apart from everything to do that is very much and serious very long to list, the people of the country is second to none and the tranquility is absolute. we only have unbut to the trip and it was the guide since he was so interested in explaining the things that he did not allow us to enjoy them, he just wanted us to keep an eye on it. one important thing I wanted to comment and I think it's common in almost all organized trips. they tell you not to buy anything that they took you to the appropriate places and the point is that they sure give you a commission for it, specific shops in the egyptian bazaar, carpet shop, jewelry store and fur clothing store. it's quite a business.

Our first time in Turkey, first stop of the honeymoon trip and has been unbeatable! The tours are with guide and private driver and have taught us the essentials of Istanbul and Cappadocia, as well as other places in these cities that, without a local guide, it would not be possible to know. They take into account the best schedules so that you feel like you’re visiting privately, without having to get up too early (and that in Istanbul, with the hustle and bustle, is a real luxury). Direct, DAILY and Spanish treatment with one of the owners of the agency (Mustafa), who has always been one step ahead of everything, so that nothing failed. Contact at the right time, in advance enough for you to organize (check-outs, pick-ups, PCR’s, transfers to and from airports...), without being overwhelming and as close and easy as possible. By the way, they've also arranged for us to have PCR done at the hotel, so we don't have to go to a hospital. The guides are the best we have had in all our experience traveling with agency (Eren in Istanbul and Fatih in Cappadocia). In addition to speaking perfect Spanish, they explain all the curious details behind each monument/palace/location visited and have taken us to the most authentic restaurants in each of the cities.
