2 Hours Perfume Making Workshop In Istanbul

A great experience led by knowledgeable and friendly staff. My perfume smells nothing like I had imagined it, but I truly enjoyed the experience. Lovely location, too.

Nice workshop to experience perfume making. You pick around 8 notes alongside 80, the guide helps you combine them, and they you mix it into your own perfume. Cosy time if you have it or it's raining.

It is well organised and a lot of fun. It is also very interactive. Once booked they will collect you at a meeting point, which we did or you have a choice to travel to the workshop yourself. Me an my niece had a great experience and I will definitely do it again.

A wonderfully involved class to personally experience how fragrance is begun and a chance to choose what scents are a personal favourite

My daughter and I spent an amazing morning in Üsküdar. Meeting on the European side and providing travel effortlessly across to the venue - the whole experience was incredible. The instructor was super helpful and we had lots of fun smelling and deciding on which essential oils for the top, middle and base notes of our own scent- very relaxing- no pressure- would 200% recommend.

This was a really fun experience. Start the process with deciding which scents you wanted from a choice of about 60 essential oils. Then decide the ratios of each (top middle and bottom) then mix and add alcohol and hey presto!! It was great fun and excellent to compare the results from the rest of the group. I’d definitely recommend.

I had such a wonderful experience at the perfume-making workshop! Our instructor was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. What really stood out was the personal attention he gave everyone in the group. He took the time to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help each person create a fragrance that truly felt personal to them. The entire experience was fun, engaging, and very well organized. I never felt rushed, and the instructor made the whole process easy to understand even if you had no previous knowledge about perfume making. I left with a fragrance I absolutely love and a great memory from my time in Istanbul. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Istanbul. It was unique, interactive, and easily one of the most enjoyable activities of my trip!

Excellent class. Really enjoyed it. Teachers were good at helping make suggestions to balance out the perfume. I can't wait until mine fully settles and is ready.

A last minute exploration on things to do in Istanbul lead me to this perfume making workshop. From signing up, the communication on where to meet to train it over the the Asian side and meeting our instructress it was en point. Explanations and a huge variety of fragrances to choose from meant I could concoct a magical potion and have it finessed by the nose that knows to have a gorgeous keepsake which will have me remembering Turkey with every spray. Highly recommended. Loved it so much I did the lamp making course the next day.

I had a very good experience from start to finish. The team was extremely helpful, kept in touch with us throughout the process, and guided me every step of the way. They were professional, well-organized, and very helpful!! The course itself was excellent. The instructors were highly skilled, supportive, and made the learning experience both enjoyable and valuable. I would definitely recommend this course to everyone!!

Love, love, loved it! This was one of our most favorite experiences in Istanbul. My kids (son and daughter age 12) and I loved the perfumes we customized and made from essential oils and alcohol. Our instructor was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and gave just the right amount of interesting and educational lesson without it becoming too overwhelming. She was so kind and patient, and I appreciate that she spent time with every individual person in the entire class to help customize a blended scent that was uniquely suited for that person. There were so many scents to choose from, we spent 45 minutes just smelling and experimenting with scent combinations. It was very fun, and we each got to take home our 50ml custom scent in a nice bottle with a recipe to be able to easily recreate it at home. Highly recommend this activity! Also, they offer many other workshops which look fun (stained glass, leather, mosaic), and it could be cool to book multiple classes if you’re interested in that. One note about logistics- when I booked on Viator the address shown (European side) was not the same as the workshop location (Asian side). They offer an option to meet on the European side about 30 minutes earlier and they provide the metro transportation and walk you to the workshop location. Or you can go directly to the workshop location yourself. So be sure you check your email and WhatsApp text messages for more updated meeting instructions after booking. Also for those guests who may be sensitive to smoking, you should be aware that there are cafe tables right next to the perfume workshop which is outdoors and some guests there smoke. I found that conflicted with me trying to smell and make my perfume as I am not used to breathing secondhand smoke. One suggestion might be to make the cafe area non-smoking (at least during the perfume workshop since it affects the smells).

Believe all the five star reviews! This was such a delightful way to spend a couple of hours on our Istanbul vacation. Mustafa gives very clear information and directions for crafting your own perfume. Even though our group was large, he provided specific personalized guidance to every participant. Our finished bottles of perfume are beautiful and will be such a fun reminder of our trip.

The perfume-making workshop was a highlight of my trip! It was fascinating to learn the art of balancing different notes and blending my own unique fragrance. The selection of essences was high quality, and the atmosphere was perfectly creative. I left with a custom perfume that serves as the perfect souvenir of Istanbul. A must-do for anyone looking for a unique, sensory experience!

What a fun experience. They are very organized - from the emails, to someone meeting up with you to get you there , to the class itself. Friendly people. Great environment. A fun thing to do. Learn about and you get your own bottle of perfume! I took the steps ahead and looked up a perfume I used to love and what were the scents, so I could try and create something similar. We will see! It has to be in the fridge for 3 days before trying.

Very warm welcome at the location, learned more than expected also about the build up of a parfume. The host was most friendly, took the time to help, all good and the three of us would book it again!

Incredible experience, Our instructor Mustafa was professional super knowledge and helpful, the two hours went flying and the results our own perfume can believe so good!

This was good fun. Mustafa explained everything well and obviously knows what he's talking about. He shared his time equally with everyone and we all had a good time. The great perfume houses have nothing to fear from our final products, but they were still quite good for "home made". A great way to spend a couple of hours while on holiday.

This perfume-making workshop with Mustafa was such a unique and meaningful experience. It’s hard to find a unique souvenir in Istanbul, but creating a scent tied to your memories of the trip feels incredibly special. Since scent is the closest thing tied to memory. Mustafa was extremely knowledgeable and super helpful at narrowing down a fragrance profile that actually fit me. With so many ingredients to choose from, I could’ve felt overwhelmed, but he made the process feel easy and intuitive. I felt completely at ease the whole time and never rushed.

It was really fun to have an experience like this. Both me and my partner loved it. Thank you Zeynep and Zeynep ☺️ you guys deal with the group well, even when there are some weird requests 😂 we recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to make perfumes and have some fun

A highly informative and professional workshop where we learned about scents and created a custom perfume. Instructors were polite and helpful.

I was met at the collection point and taken u ground by rail to the place . That in itself was a fab experience . The guy who gave the wk shop was so patient friendly and knowledgeable about combinations that go well together. It was interesting and fun to see what people’s tastes were I loved it There were more men on the wk shop than women

I had a lot of fun at this workshop. I went alone and the group including staff and other attendees were so nice and friendly. The overall vibe was really positive. We constantly got something to drink and a few snacks. I would definitely recommend this Workshop.

Awesome experience. Met met our guides and the rest of our group near the train station and rode the train to the Asia side of Istanbul then walked to the location. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the scents and process and gave very clear instructions and guidance. They also let us make multiple bottles of perfume while we were there which was cool. They also provided snack and refreshment so that was nice as well.

Lovely experience for the whole family. They talked us through how to choose from 60+ scents to make our own personalised perfume to take away. Tea, coffee and water provided. Lovely welcoming staff with perfect English. A short walk from the ferry. Our six-year-old daughter loved it as much as we did.

Highlight of our day. The workshop was educational and we learned a lot. The hosts were fun and had a cool way of explaining the theory. They helped us mix the essential oils in order for them to work together according to their ph levels and overall combination. We had a great time and we left with a precious memory.

Fun activity for families while in Istanbul. My son loved mixing his own fragrances in the perfume workshop and Mustafa was very engaging and made the workshop very enjoyable. We appreciated that the host came to the European side to meet us and escort us on the metro to the Asian side to the workshop location (train fee included). Super easy and highly recommend.

Great time making a custom perfume. They lead you through the process and are super helpful when it comes to assiting you with mixing certain scents to find your ideal one. Love the scent I ended up making - would highly recommend. Plus the bottle size is carry on friendly, while still feeling like you have a substantial amount.

We really enjoyed this 2-hour perfume making experience. Our guide Ali was educational and entertaining and it was very rewarding to take the time to experiment and create a bespoke personal scent to take home.

What a great experience! We went with our 2 kids and we all had a blast. The staff were so attentive and made the experience so much fun. On a side note, if you choose the meet up option on the European side, the guide will take you over to the Asian side (where the workshop is held) via ferry or train. However, after the class, you are to make your own way back. It's not complicated, we were just surprised.

Ali was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to properly making a perfume. There were 100+ smells to choose from and you can try as many as possible! Very fun
