Such a lovely hotel on a lovely and secured area. Staffs were amazingly helpful. The hotel has a cute garden, I had the opportunity to just hangout at the garden with complimentary çay, while they were preparing the room. The room; was so clean, comfortable & complete with room amenities. The most interesting one was its Hamam bathroom and next to it is the normal shower bathroom. It was a little bit posh and fancy to me - it gave me more value for the price I paid. A happy customer here!
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hotel.
During my stay, $3,000 USD disappeared from my room safe. The money was placed in the safe, and I left the room only once for approximately four hours. When I discovered the money was missing, I immediately reported it to the reception. Instead of receiving serious support and a thorough explanation, I was told that there is only one master key and it is held by the manager.
That response only made the situation more alarming. If guests are expected to trust the hotel’s security systems, how can money disappear from a locked safe? A room safe is supposed to be the safest place in the hotel to store valuables, yet I left this hotel thousands of dollars poorer with no satisfactory answers.
As a tourist, losing $3,000 was devastating. It completely ruined my trip, caused enormous stress, and left me struggling financially. What upset me even more was the apparent lack of urgency, accountability, and genuine concern shown when I reported the incident.
I no longer felt safe in this hotel, and I completely lost trust in its security procedures. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn other travelers to be extremely careful with their valuables and not assume that items placed in the room safe will necessarily be secure.
I came here expecting hospitality, professionalism, and security. Instead, I left feeling shocked, frustrated, and deeply disappointed.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore Istanbul and reach many attractions. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh food, and the peaceful garden created a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul, and I will definitely stay here again!
We had an excellent stay at Walton Gardens Pera. The location in the heart of Pera made it easy to explore Istanbul on foot, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. What really made the stay special was the service — the manager went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast was a nice touch to start the day, and overall the value for what we paid was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in this part of the city.
We celebrated a birthday at this hotel and were absolutely delighted. The decoration was done with great attention to detail and created a wonderful atmosphere. The entire staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and warm, which made us feel very comfortable at all times. The food was also excellent and exceeded our expectations. Overall, it was a thoroughly successful stay – we would be very happy to come back again.
