It was really dirty, cleaners comed in our room and took our stuff. The boss of the hotel was angry all the time, he attacked our friends , and the food was really gross. Elevator was broken. Cutlery was dirty too. And they gave us cards that can unlock every room in hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at City Port Hotel in Istanbul. The breakfast was nice, the price was very low, and they even allowed us to check in early at 6 AM, even though the official check-in time was 2 PM. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were changed daily, and the bathroom amenities were always replenished. Highly recommend!

Apart from being close to the Aksaray district and the public transport there are no other privilèges. The hôtel itself is five-stories high, but the inner staircase is a spiral. There is an elevator fortunately for those at the top floor. The walls are discected at the corners and the rooms are fitted around an external spiral, which means you will see sections of the other rooms above your window. The housemaid has left us without soap and shampoo for roughly day and a half and our whole stay is for two nights. The restaurant salon is even smaller than the lobby. It is based on subzero floor and it barely containes a few tables for the guests. A full group of people can't fit the small place so the whole idea of having an early breakfast together goes to waste. The food served was somewhat fine and there seemed to have enough for everyone. At close range you may find a suitable market and a baker.

The room wasn't ready when it was stated, and we waited for hours and when we arrived at the room it was still not cleaned up, so we had to call the maids. Wifi is not working 80% of the time, and when I asked the hotel staff about it they said it's not their problem. Room sound isolation is 0/10. Regarding the good things, the location is great and the breakfast was okay.
