Couple positives about this hotel: 1. Its convenient location, close to many amenities. 2. The breakfast lady in the kitchen, who was genuinely kind and made guests feel welcome and at home. 3. The cleaning lady Unfortunately, everything else about my stay was not that great. The bathrooms were a little bit moldy, and the showers were extremely small and uncomfortable. Although the hotel claims to provide daily room service and restock essentials such as coffee, tea, water, and towels, this was not properly done. There were multiple signs posted encouraging guests to skip housekeeping to “save on washing costs.” I agreed and reused my towels for a few days to be considerate. However, after three days, I ran out of drinking water in the evening. When I went to the front desk and asked for water, the night manager charged me 20 TL in cash for each small bottle (i paid 100 TL so i don't have to ask again in the morning) — despite the fact that I was staying for eight days. This was unacceptable and unprofessional. On the fourth day, the same night manager asked me to pay my remaining balance in advance, even though I still had four days left in my stay. He claimed the hotel manager had instructed him to collect early payment. The way this was handled made me feel as though I was being treated like someone who might run away without paying. Overall, i was disappointed.
I had a great stay at Taximtown Hotel in Taksim Square. The location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and the metro station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is tasty, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel also has a spacious lobby with two elevators, making everything easy and convenient
This hotel is acutally a 3 star hotel! The breakfast and wifi are reasonable. The only great point about this hotel was the new staff ( Mr. Vahid ) who helped us a lot to solve the room problem and finding varied locations. The hotel location is so close to taxim sq. Unfortunately the Turkish receptionist behaved in a bad manner and send us to a room in basement with a terrible musty smell. If that new guy would not have helped us to get what we deserved, we had for sure changed our hotel! Genrally it’s not worth paying money on this hotel.. Thanks a bunch to Mr. Vahid 🌹🙏🏻
This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. While the location is convenient, everything else was a disaster. The room was dirty, outdated, and had a terrible smell. The air conditioning barely worked, and the noise from the street made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The worst part? Bed bugs. I woke up with bites all over, and when I brought it up to the staff, they were dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of addressing the issue, they acted like it was no big deal. It’s completely unacceptable for a hotel to have such poor hygiene standards. On top of that, the breakfast was disappointing, and the overall service was rude and indifferent. I highly recommend avoiding this place—there are much better (and cleaner) options in the area. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere
