Taxim Express Istanbul Hotel

(sorry for the bad english) the hotel was very bad , the staff are very unhelpfull and rude , the room was small and noicy and not enough lighting andThe corridor smelled bad, and the carpet had a bad smell. , the bathroom was dirty and have mold in it , the breakfast is very below expextations , and its not that near to taksim you have to walk alot , no heat in the rooms eventhough it was very cold and rainy outside " they told us it will be fixed tomorrow then the next day he told another people infront of me that it will be fixed tomorrow so i told them he is lieing", they charge you extra(100 t.l) for bottle of water every day , no toothbrush or toothpaste, overall i will never go back to this hotel even if its free, it was a mistake to pay for five days before arriving

stayed at this hotel May 2026; overall this is a bad hotel. the hotel is old, poorly maintained over the years and this is reflected on the condition of the rooms: mattress bends itself during sleep, making sleeping uncomfortable. The floor is tearing apart due to age. the bathroom seems clean at first, but when you look carefully it has debris accumulated - it needs a deep clean. Fridge doesn't work Ammount of soap is minimal... it has an acceptable number of electrical outlets. breakfast is terrible - very limited options - bread is stale; a few cheese options. almost no fruit (only orange slices...). Ocasionally eggs are served. Very low quality. There are way better options for the same price in the same area.

I stayed in hotel for 10 days for a seminar. The room are very spacious even tho we were 3 in it. They cleaned it very well, they even found my airpods that i lost and bring them back to the reception. You are close to the M2 Metro which is very good, you have plenty of good restaurant around. Breakfast was fine, don’t listen to the spoiled childs that complain about it, it’s fine. Receptionnists were always here to help us. I recommend it.

This is my second time staying here. The hotel staff is super supportive and rooms are very clean. The reason for me staying again here is that it is value for money and cleanliness
