Sirkeci Mansion

High praise for Sirkeci Mansion and it's staff! As a frequent traveler--37 countries and counting, this was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Mr. Okay Alkan, the hotel manager, provided exemplary service in helping me plan and reserve all my on-the-ground transportation, sightseeing, and experience requests before I arrived in Türkiye. Everyone on the staff I interacted with was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The hotel's location in the old city is excellent! It's an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, historic sites, popular experiences, and public transportation (tram and metro). I used the Mansion as a 'home base' for travel within Türkiye (they offer luggage storage), so I stayed in a different room on each visit. Both rooms were very clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the showers. The breakfast is a delicious assortment of hot and cold food and drinks, and I also enjoyed the afternoon tea service between activities. Insider Tip: Book a private, licensed guide to explore the city. Normally, I would book directly through a tour operator, but the convenience and very reasonable price of booking through the Mansion saved me time and effort. Istanbul is a very congested city, so exploring with a private guide allows you to customize your itinerary, eliminates the stress of navigating through the streets and historic sites, and you'll benefit from a local's perspective. This hotel was recommended by our guide and we couldn’t have been happier❣️ It’s close to all of the sites in Fatih. It has a pool, sauna, hammam and massage services on site! The staff was extremely professional, helpful and very friendly. Any question or need that we had, they addressed it fully without hesitation! Don’t go anywhere else- this place is perfect!👌🤩👍

Had a wonderful experience here: Location is less than a min from gulhane tram station so right in middle of everything. Rooms sound proofing was excellent- we didnt hear any noise throughout 7 days stay. Staff are respectful and most soeak fluent english which made communication easier. They offered daily complimentary water as much as needed and beeakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks

We stayed in April and really enjoyed our stay. The people at the desk could not have been nicer or more helpful. The location is great and the rooms comfortable. If you can, take advantage of their free classes/tours. We were only able to do the cooking class, but if we come back I want to do their tour of Tradesmen. They also recommended two great restaurants for excellent food and gorgeous views - Roof Mezopotamia and Bi Bilak for seafood. The manager also rec'd the best place to buy saffron and it was much less expensive than other places in the Spice Market.
