We like the hotel. Clean rooms, nice pool and spa, simple but very delicious breakfasts. The most important part is employees. They are great. Sometimes we had some communication problems but if people want to help you nothing can stop them.
I stayed at MQ Hotel Suites & SPA in August 2026 during a long layover at Istanbul Airport. Overall, I would consider this more of a 3-star experience rather than a 5-star hotel. For a 3-star hotel in a small town near Istanbul, I found it quite expensive and overpriced. I had a cheeseburger at the hotel restaurant while waiting for my room. It took about 25 minutes, and unfortunately, the burger was very cold. The fries, however, were really good! I appreciated that they gave me my room about an hour before the official check-in time. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and my room sea view was great. The swimming pool was nice, although the water was very cold. The hotel is also next to a busy road, and despite the double-glazed windows, I could hear traffic and people outside clearly. The most frustrating part of my stay was the internet. I needed to get some work done, but the Wi-Fi was extremely slow. I became so frustrated that I eventually gave up, and unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish my work. The room amenities could be improved. There was no tissue box, and when I asked for tissues, they brought me some napkins instead. The toilet paper was also only half a roll when I arrived. Overall, I had some good experiences, but considering the price, I expected better service and amenities.
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and I especially want to thank the reception team, Mustafa and Derya. When we discovered that our baby had a fever, they were incredibly helpful and supportive in helping us get the necessary medicine. Their kindness, quick assistance, and genuine care made a stressful situation much easier for us. Thank you, Mustafa and Derya, for going above and beyond. Your hospitality truly made a difference. The hotel offers a comfortable and well-maintained environment, with nicely appointed rooms and a relaxing spa area—ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing in the city or a relax moment between flight connection! The location is also a strong advantage, providing convenient access to Istanbul’s new airport while still offering a quiet and restful atmosphere to return to. I stopped by this hotel during my layover in Istanbul and thoroughly enjoyed my time. I had a delicious salad from the restaurant for lunch, and they brought a complimentary juice, which was just as good and had a little watermelon heart! It was a very clean and organized restaurant, as well as the front desk. Such a good location as it is right on the beach and close to a few small convenience stores. What stood out to me was the amazing employees and the service they provided. I was not even staying the night, but they went out of their way to help me with my bags and even called a taxi to take me to the airport when I was having complications. They also gave me a small goodbye bag with a spa sample. I cannot say enough good things about this place and hope to return some day!
