Our dining experience at the restaurant of Moshir al-Mamalek Hotel in Yazd was, unfortunately, very disappointing. The kebabs were tasteless and dry, the overall food quality was extremely poor, and the prices were surprisingly high for what was served. There was a long delay in getting our food, and the service felt unprofessional. Several waiters gathered just two meters from our table, chatting loudly and constantly making eye contact with us, which felt uncomfortable and intrusive. For a hotel with such a beautiful setting, we expected much better. The restaurant clearly needs serious improvement in both food and service quality
This hotel is overrated. The rooms are very small and dirty. We upgraded to the best room they had to offer and it was half the size and twice the price of another hotel that we found in the old Town. We tried to shorten our stay at the hotel by one day to go to the other one we found and they refused to refund our money for that day. The location is far too remote for a hotel. I will definitely not recommend this place or stay here again.
We came here on our honeymoon. Bad location. Over priced. Out dated rooms. Shower door fell off on the first use. Rusty water coming from the shower. Dirty carpets. Instant coffee for breakfast. We tried to cancel our reservation here to stay somewhere else and they would not refund us for the two remaining days that we had here. The service here is very poor except for one butler who is helping guests bring bags to their room. This man is exceptional at his job and very attentive.
A hotel with an incredibly beautiful area filled with old trees and narrow, winding paths. There are water streams and tiled ponds, and the staff meticulously clean the yard, garden, and water channels. The taste of the food in the hotel's traditional restaurant, with its beautiful design, was homely, delightful, and light. The fast-food café restaurant at the end of the garden also had great quality and prices. Breakfast was served in this section as well, and compared to the Safaieh Hotel that eggs are served precooked, a chef cooks your hot and desired omelet/fried egg in lovely copper dishes. Since this restaurant also had outdoor seating, you could take your breakfast outside to the garden, which was very pleasant. However, the room, despite being traditional and beautiful, was unfortunately very old and didn't feel clean. Especially the towels in the bathroom didn't have the so-called "clean towel" note, and even the toilet didn't have the "sealed and sanitized" note on it, which gave a bad feeling. So much so that we preferred not to use the hotel's shower. Rooms have small windows, with minimum view to the lovely garden and its thick, lively trees. The staff were very friendly and warm though. I hope the cleanliness of the rooms improves so that this beautiful hotel will be our choice again on our next trip.
