Momento Golden Horn Hotel

Hello! My husband and I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Momento Golden Horn for making our stay from 3rd–10th October 2026 so special. We came to Istanbul to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was such a meaningful trip for us. We honestly couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The kindness, warmth and genuine hospitality we experienced throughout our visit meant more to us than words can express. We especially want to thank Serkan, who went above and beyond to help us with the issue we experienced on our very first night. After a long day of travelling, his patience, understanding and willingness to help made such a difference. We will always remember and appreciate the kindness he showed us. A special thank you to Harun as well for being so lovely, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. His warmth, friendliness and thoughtful nature made us feel so comfortable and at home. We truly appreciated the care and kindness he showed us, and he certainly helped make our stay even more memorable. We will always remember him with great fondness. A special thank you to Yakup, the bellboy, for being so kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His warm and welcoming nature made our experience even more special, and we truly appreciated his kindness. And to the rest of the wonderful team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making us feel so welcome and cared for. Sometimes it's not just the places you visit that stay with you, but the people you meet along the way. Your team is certainly one we will remember with so much fondness. Istanbul has given us memories we will cherish forever, and we are so grateful that your hotel was part of our first anniversary celebrations. Amazing Location, Wonderful Staff & Great Value for Money! First of all, the location is absolutely perfect, with breathtaking views of the Galata Bridge and the beautiful mosques. The rooms are spotless, the beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms have everything you need. What more could you ask for? But what really makes this hotel special is the staff! Every single person is incredibly warm, welcoming, attentive and genuinely friendly. The moment you walk through the entrance and see a smiling face at reception, you immediately feel at home. And that makes such a difference! You can tell that hospitality here isn’t just a job. They genuinely care about their guests. Amazing value for money, a fantastic team and a hotel I would happily recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul!

We had a great stay at Hotel Momento Golden Horn and would definitely stay here again. Sedat, the Front Office Manager, was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived and even arranged complimentary breakfast for us, which was a very nice touch. Another gentleman from the team, whose name unfortunately I didn’t catch, was also extremely helpful with our car and the valet service. The whole team made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is excellent — very convenient for exploring Karaköy, Galata and the rest of Istanbul. We also had dinner at Tershane, the rooftop restaurant, which is included in the Michelin Guide. The food was very good and the team reserved a table with an amazing view for us, which made the evening even more special. Great hospitality, great location and genuinely helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location! This is a great place to stay if you’re wanting to explore different areas of Istanbul. It’s close to the tramway which is the cheapest and easiest way to get around. The staff here blew my expectations away, very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. I would absolutely stay here again. They also have a wonderful restaurant on the top floor!
