I had a really great experience staying at this hotel in Istanbul! Everything was wonderful, from the friendly and helpful staff to the clean and comfortable room. I felt very welcome throughout my stay, and the service was excellent. The location was also very convenient for exploring Istanbul. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul! ❤️
I do not recommend this place at all. There is a discotheque underneath the rooms, in the same building and it is open every day of the week. So every night around midnight the whole room starts to shake and windows rattle from the sound... It is very loud, too much to be acceptable for a hotel. I don't exxagerate when I say even our beds shake a little. That being said, staff is really good. Housekeeping / cleaning do a great job, the people at reception are always available and friendly. But still I would never go here again, the location is a disaster.
Disappointing Stay: Poor AC, Non-Functional Amenities, and Dubious Policies I am a regular traveler and loyal BILT member, but my recent stay at Misafir Suites 8 Istanbul was highly disappointing due to a lack of maintenance and inconsistent service. Facilities: The AC in our large suite could not keep up. I have documentation showing the thermostat at 18°C while the room was stuck at 23°C. The TV was also unusable for the duration of the trip. When alerted to these issues, repairs were promised but never materialized. Cleanliness: Hygiene was a concern. Finding a stained pillowcase left on the bed after the room had supposedly been serviced was unacceptable for a "Special Class" hotel. Dining and Staff: The breakfast selection is significantly smaller than what is pictured in their marketing materials. When I arrived shortly before the end of breakfast service, the staff’s attitude was confrontational rather than hospitable. Furthermore, despite having 4 guests, we were consistently short-changed on complimentary water, leading to arguments with housekeeping. Value: Watch out for undisclosed fees. We were hit with a EUR 50 early check-in charge that was never mentioned when we called to arrange it. Final Verdict: The hotel refuses to take accountability for these documented shortcomings and responded to our complaints with threats of "blacklisting." I highly recommend looking at other options in Istanbul where guest comfort and honesty are prioritized. Very nice hotel just off Istiklal Street. Very friendly and helpful staff, young and cheerful. Rooms are extra large and comfortable. Would definitely return. Special thanks to Radwan and Yussef.
This was our first time in Istanbul and travelling with 2 young kids I was little hesitant to book, but the whole experience of this hotel was the best decision. The property is very central and very close to Bus station, tram, Metro. We walked everywhere mostly. The breakfast choices were amazing and everyday there was something new in the buffet. Food quality and breakfast view was the plus point. The room itself was very large compared to a normal hotel size rooms and every other day we get fresh linen. Rooms get cleaned and freshen up everyday. Room was equipped with all necessities you needed including fridge, AC, hair dryer a locker. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Our son only drinks smoothies they even helped us made them in their restaurant kitchen. We booked taxi through them and that experience was also good despite of hearing taxi scams. Can't fault anything in this hotel, the value we paid and the services we received is one of our best experience so far. Highly recommend everyone if traveling alone or kids.
